There is, and that ICO without whitepaper tend to be suspicious, unresourceful and unfinished. It's a way for some people to scam another by creating fake ICO
even they have no knowledge to create whitepaper so the project ended up having no whitepaper.
Usually, project that dont have whitepaper is for airdrop and the main purpose is to grab easy money.

Perhaps a couple of years ago without white paper it was possible to raise money using ICO. Now without white paper investors will not consider a project for investment.

ICO without a technical document is not a good decision for developers. No need to invest in such a project. Those people who are developing an ICO and are not making a technical document should not even pay attention to such a project.

not much people read whitepapers of the ICO projects. of course such document must be developed but it doesn't give you a guarantee that the project is fair.

I believe ICO without having whitepaper is actually scams. Simply because personally, whitepapers are extremely essential. In the whitepaper, we are able to evaluate if the task is actually scams or even not really. I believe the actual achievement from the task can also be based on the actual whitepaper.

of course projects that do not have documentation, want to leave at the expense of HYIP. And there is no documentation because they do not have it, it is a fraud. Who want to get investors through artificial HYIP.  Such projects should be avoided

Most probably around 99% of ICOs without whitepapers are scams. The remaining 1% are probably charity ICOs that just give away tokens for the lols. But based on experience, I find it accurate that ICOs without whitepapers are more likely to be scams.

A Whitepaper is an important aspect of a project especially when the project is running an ICO. It serves as a guideline for the project. This doesn’t also mean an ICO without a Whitepaper is a scam, it may surprise you to know that most of the ICOs with very attractive Whitepapers turn out to be scams. I personally haven’t seen an ICO without a Whitepaper and I don’t think one exists.

For me that's a complete nonsense to run an ICO without having previously published a whitepaper.
It's irrespectful of investors ans it's like telling: "I'm not sure my idea is worth investing my time on it, so please first invest your money and then I'll work on it..."

people's rate the ico based on their whitepaper, teams, prospect of the projects, etc. So i think if there's no whitepaper then will simply rate it bad or leave thus ICO

I dint see any ICO that dont have a white paper but if they theres any i think its a scam. Im doing this for more than 1 yr and i dont see any of ico that dont have white paper

in my opinion, the whitepaper in the ICO is mandatory because if there is no whitepaper how can we find out more detailed content from the ICO, because in my opinion, the whitepaper contains all the important information about the ICO.
