Frankly, I have never seen such projects in which there would not be a whitepaper
I saw a couple of such projects, for me personally it is a signal that it is better not deal with them. The project team which can not compile technical documentation for a couple of thousand dollars is not credible. This is not a dogma, only you make a final decision.

It is irrational for any genuine undertaking offering ICO not to have a white paper. Any accomplished speculator should see that as a warning and keep running for their dear cash. What precisely will influence me to spend on a venture without a white paper when am mindful of the rate at which individuals are being defrauded with ICO nowadays.

Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper
I'm just wondering that without whitepaper how can they let investors know about them?

This as for me means a hundred project is not very successful and promising. Knowledgeable developers will create all the necessary technical documentation, thereby increasing the level of the project

Personally, I always prioritize the selection of the project I draw specifically on the specifics of white paper. Without it, I do not even consider the option of investing in a particular project.

We recommend that you do not choose an ICO that does not have a whitepaper. Whitepapers are a very important part that must be in the ICO, without the whitepaper it will be difficult for you to know about the concepts and detailed information about the ICO. From the start of the ICO running until it was finished, the information contained in it. There are many ICOs, choose an ICO that has a complete source of information.

I have not seen an ICO project that did not publish a white paper. The most important part of the ICO is the white paper, so without a white paper project, it must be a scam. At least I am absolutely impossible to participate in such an ICO.

As for me it's not very good. People need to know about the project everything they deal with. Therefore, I believe that the technical documentation of the draft is necessary

It's strange that whitepapers are the end all be all for crypto projects. Most projects turn out to be *just* a whitepaper though. I've seen some smaller pow projects start without them.

If no one doubts that the ICO is legit, then it seems to me that only a website is enough, where the team will lay out briefly all the basics, personally I know only one such ICO and I participated in it, this is the Raiden Network, the team said that they have no time to create a whitepaper, in this ICO there were people who participated in the creation of Ethereum, and about the Raiden Network often spoke Buterin himself, and what whitepaper for them would suit? If most people can only understand the principle of work but they will not be able to understand 10% of what they do.

I believe that almost always an ICO without this document is fraud. After all, even scammers usually prepare this document, just a necessity for a prospective project.

I have encountered quite a number of ICO projects that have "plain", "unclear" and "unprofessional" white papers, so no WhitePapar projects are worth the investment. Here, I need to be clear, the Whitepaper is just one of many factors to consider about a potential ICO project worth investing. A complete and complete whitepaper should include the following: Problems in the current market
Solutions and products offered
Competitive situation and market size
How Token Works and use cases
Timeline of development and launch (RoadMap)
ICO Strategy
Number of tokens issued
How to allocate a token
Token prices
Market Limit (Hardcap and Softcap)
The ICO sale phase
Payments
Token release plan
Preferential token ownership
The development team, consultants, and partners
Legal issues of Token
Project promotion strategy

If developers are hard to write White Paper, then their project does not deserve attention. The WP at the project is like a passport for a person.

from my point of view we cant  say that every ICO that has bounty campaigns without whitepaper that it is 100% scam because. Some ICO they start first their bounty campaigns before launching a whitepaper...so we if happen to joined in a bounty campaigns for an ICO without whitepaper we should just wait and hope that they would launched their whitepaper..

To date, I have studied many projects, ICO. But I have never met a project without technical documentation. I'm sure what you're facing could be fraud. I advise you to study in more detail each member of the team, the company, and all that is in the public domain about this project. White paper is the essence of the project. This is the first thing that the investor studies.

This kind of thing is obvious and not needed to have debate. Of course those project are scam. How could a project become successful or have credibility to raised money even they are  not transparent to its community. Whitepaper represents the idea of the whole project. From the team to its product.

I am absolutely sure that the project without this document is highly likely to be a fraud. Therefore, I do not plan to invest my money in it.

Actually the ICO without whitepaper is not necessarily fraud, it's just that ICO without whitepaper can't be trusted. How we want to believe if we cannot know the ICO in depth. I myself, if I meet with the ICO without a whitepaper, I will not join in, I will not invest and I will not join the bounty campaign. I'm better off avoiding me following uncertainty so I will only be at risk of suffering losses. This whitepaper is a practical medium to get to know ICO so that if there is no whitepaper then we will not be able to get to know the ICO.

It's better to avoid ICOs that don't have whitepapers. Because it shows that the project is not serious and has the potential to be a scam. All of that is to protect your funds so that they are not lost when participating in an ICO that has the potential to be a scam.

If the project does not want to share information and plans with potential investors and participants, it is almost always a scam that does not deserve my money.
