Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper

We know that every project start with the whitepaper.  Whitepaper is very important to determine  the goal of that project and everything. So how would sell your product if there is no label? Not that easy. Without whitepaper we can't tell if that is 100% scam maybe we should look for their development before investing. Remember most of the Scam ICO has a whitepaper.  With or without  it will never give us the assurance we want.

It certainly sounds funny, but unfortunately this is the reality today. There are unscrupulous ICO. They were too lazy to even copy someone else's white paper. Those who invest here money likely will lose their.

An ico project need a great whitepaper because this will bring more investor to come in their project to invest and in whitepaper you can see the goal of the project if its legit or not, for long term or short run only, so I suggest dont invest to any ico project that has no whitepaper  to provide or else you want to scam.

I agree with that 100%. Whitepaper is a necessary document to have. All ICO need to have the whitepaper. My advise is never joined or invest your money on ICO without have whitepaper, you will loss your money..

Yep, for me, the lack of white paper is a disturbing factor. In that case, I will not take part in that ico or bounty campaign, because it's very risky.

ICO without whitepapers is like walking without direction, at least investors can understand what details will be the main objectives of the project, what steps to its success, project advantages, marketing strategy, excellent products, team, etc. all of which can reassure investors from all walks of life.
ICO without whitepaper is also not necessarily a scam / fraud, why? ... because some projects there are more summarized as roadmap.

This so called ICO is not good to follow and maybe if they did, you will notice that they are rushing the details and copied it on some whitepapers. If any Ico has no whitepaper until they started and they can provide any of the following especially the team and its real images. We can say it already a scam or a fraudulent ico.

Its simply a team without knowledge of what are they doing in the project. Maybe they are just there for scamming people around. It is very important to have a whitepaper to  let your investors know you have a working model and details of everything about your project.

If they have only started their project and don't plan any ICO in the near future, then it's not the biggest problem. But if they ask people to send them money and don't have any whitepaper, then for me it's 100% scam.

How can you offer a project without a plan. How do you want to communicate with your investors anyway and let them know the potential within your project. well if you ask me i would not participate in any initial coin offering for any project which does not have a whitepaper. It will definitely turn out to be a scam projects.

10000% Scam and how would a project would launch up a project without any whitepaper yet this thing do explains all on whats the project is all about and as an investor we would normally seek out informations towards it. In this case even just on your own common sense if you cant read up any information about the project then why would you proceed to put up money?
Its just really a dumb thing to do and for now im glad i havent seen one on this kind of project.

The white paper contains all the important information about the ICO project and is of interest to investors. Investors decide on investment by examining the white paper. What should be in a project. white paper, honest team, solid product, creative intelligence, market experience.
