No, not a Scam. A lot depends on the project team, which should be ready to implement all the plans, and not just to raise money.

Indeed even bitcoin doesn't have whitepaper even it launched. Even the ico have whitepaper it doesn't mean that they won't be a nuts and in fact they use their whitepaper to look a legit one.

Likewise, we need to check every aspect that we can think of and not just by looking in whitepaper or else our hard earned money will just go to their wallets

I fully agree with the previous comments. In any case, whether there is white paper or not, you need to check everything to the last detail. To then on every street corner not to complain about how that you have deceived, you lost time and perhaps even their money. Speaking of your money. I try never to invest and not to buy more coins in the projects which I participate.

Yes for me without whitepaper in a bounty is absolutely a scam because some of bounty hunters and investor's before they want to join bounty or they invest in any bounty they read first the whitepaper for them to know if that bounty is good .   Current ICO project fraud was indeed very much. And we must be careful in making decisions to launch ICO project work.

They don't usually need a Whitepaper. Some projects state that they made millions of dollars in their crowdsale though they could be hiding that they did not make a single coin.

Whitepaper is really need for ICO projects, it's the main document that represents the main idea, intentions, technical details and many more about a project. There are many SCAMs, so I think not only investors but even bounty hunters should be picky with that.

And sometimes it takes some months untill they release the whitepaper of their project. But it also looks like thats this cares nobody. Because 99% of all cryptoinvestors are not reading the white paper

You have a point on that. Well, basically we need to know the details of the project in which the white paper must have. Most of us here before joining the different bounties, we need to know the platforms, advocacy as well as the concepts of the project. I would say the ICO having a white paper in detailed will definitely caught the attention of many users as well as those investors in the word of crypto currency.
