The point is that if someone decides to buy tokens from an ICO which didn't even bother writing a whitepaper, they are fully responsible for the money they will lose. Ab ICO without a whitepaper is not necessarily a scam, but it is very likely to be an ICO of a bad project.

Whitepaper is very important to give the more explanation about the future roadmap, technical details and development of the project. Never join bounty which has no whitepaper. For me, before joining any bounty i always read whitepaper and check roadmap of the project.

Im not focus on whitepaper, sometime i dont even look the whitepaper becauseni cant tell the project real existing. Easy create an awesome whitepaper but the reality is shit. What my point is before reading whiepaper make sure the team are all in existence developing the project out there then nexr move in whitpaper

That is a huge red flag if the project has no white paper. However many projects with white papers are scams too and so it is not the be all and end all.
