I haven't seen that before, very strange thing. If ICO doesn't have a white paper it must be the ICO of Bitcoin, lol. Known enough that people would invest even without reading the documentary.

Personally , I don't think there should be an ICO without whitepaper. The whitepaper bridges the gap between an investor and a company. Can we say a ICO without a whitepaper is a scam? Or what can you say about an ICO without whitepaper

I have invested in some ico but with whitepaper that gives me crap returns. Now i learned my lessons and will not invest even invest such a thing, maybe the trend should shift to product first before ICO.

In my opinion, ICO who does not publish whitepaper then the ICO can not be trusted. Meaning that ICO is not serious in making this project a success. ICO without whitepaper is a fraud. Whitepaper is a good medium in bridging between companies and investors. Without a whitepaper then investors can not understand and know the ICO clearly and deeply. Of course, if I am an investor then I do not want to invest in the ICO. My advice, you should not join ICO without the whitepaper. You will only put your money at a loss if you join the ICO.

I do not think that it will look like a normal project. How do you imagine this? Many people, probably everyone, read a white paper in which there is written a lot of information about the project and people decide to invest or not. It's not right to do a project without white paper.

The purpose of the whitepaper is to explain what the ICO offers. All the details are there. So what are we supposed to expect? No product but you'd be offering an ICO for nothing? That sure most looks like a cash grab and an exit scam. Some scammers even try to copy other ICOs whitepaper to look legit.

Absolutely, there is something wrong with that and doubts will be created. Investors will never risk there money with that cause it could be possible that it is just scam. Whitepaper could be a big help for its growth and development in the coming future and that's what we look for.

In my opinion white paper is exact thing that need to compel you to invest in this project, I think I would not believe the guys which have not developed the white paper at all, because this is like the City without a road sign.

Whitepaper gives investors the guide about the project in terms of what to expect and what not to expect from the project. Without whitepaper, is like investing blindly or gambling with your money and wanting to drain your money with no trace even if you have legal injunctions against them.

ICO without paper, how, is it possible I doubt it
It is just like saying a project without a name
Any ICO without a whitepaper is pure scam
It is written boldly for you it now depends maybe you can decode the message.
No matter how cheap it might appear it is pure scam.

I think that many people care a lot of about whitepaper, but this is not the most important thing. The most important thing is product development and listing ob the biggest exchanges!

I'm almost sure that it is. If the project does not have technical documentation, it's probably scammers

ICOs ought to consist of disclosures regarding the maximum huge hazard factors affecting token holders within the presenting record.

Although most investors probable understand that even a success ventures is probably later disintermediated through extra efficient upstarts, a token holder can be surprised to discover that the product does no longer but feature as intended or can also develop a new use or motive altogether depending on the improvement of the technology or, possibly even less predictably

This is 100% scam. We should avoid these ICOs because we do not know their purpose and what they really want.
So we should avoid this because it is a great chance that our hard-earned money will only come into the hands of exploiters.

We must be careful

Agree. Whitepaper is sort of declaration what team wants to create, and without this declaration they just tell us they want to make ICO but they didn't even decide for what purposes Grin

Since the white paper contains all the necessary and important information about the project, its absense is an alarm signal. I advise you to choose another project that meets all the recommendations of a good and honest ICO.

No question! If ICOs start without showing their whitepaper, then expect it to be a scam. The whitepaper is as important as the team running the ICO. It details important information about the project that is needed by the investor to learn about it. So without it, it is like running an ICO and not knowing where the proceeds of the sale will go.

Actually it's not 100%, there are some case projects will update Whitepaper after ICO or Airdrop distribution. Latest project like the case I mentioned is NOBS, they just release Whitepaper and Exchanges as well.
