I will be surprised if there is still any ICO in the crypto space that is without whitepaper, because all those i have seen have their, both legit and scam projects. There are even some airdrops that have whitepaper, so what would stop an ICO from having it.

I am not worried when I see ICO that hasn’t whitepaper. There should be some necessary information on the site or maybe in some other documents. That’s not a problem. The problem is that ICO project could be a scam.

I am very skeptical about projects that can not immediately submit their project of work. How can I invest money in such projects I do not understand. how can someone make an ico without whitepaper? i would not trust such an ico. a whitepaper is today rather the normal standard instead of a special feature. who can not keep this standard, should not lead a ico or company. but thats just my opinion.

The white paper goes a long way to identify and defines a project and help a potential investor to know exactly what the project is all about and how they could benefit from it. A project without a white paper is undefined.

you can not know whether it's scam or only incompetent, but either way, very likely your investment will end up being worth zero. If they can't even write white paper, then I'm not sure how they would deliver actual product.

mostly airdrop without white paper. but for ico it is very rarely excluded in the group of new wallet project managers or dll. I think white paper is very important to bridge on investors.
Essentially, if it does not make sense you should ignore it.

Agree, But there are scam projects which has white paper also. White paper is not the only thing we can rely on the originality of a project and there are several factors included like the partnership, product, team and roadmap. We need to take into consideration on all aspect and not only white paper to identify whether the project is a good one. White paper is also a main factor towards that but there should be other main factors inside the project for success.

No investor would give millions of their money to a project that can't even explain what their project does. there is no point participating in a bounty for a project without a whitepaper either, because the project will fail and if you somehow do still get paid, the coins will be worthless anyway.

I will advice everyone to stay away from any project doing ICO without whitepaper, it shows the project is not legit enough to invest on. My opinion

i think investors really scare to invest in ICOs without any informations about the project in the whitepaper, an ICO with no informations can hardly get attentions from communities and most likely the ICO are scam, moreover, investors will not know what to do without a roadmap or the developer team to put their money in the project then surely they will not invest in that ICO.

I saw only one ICO without whitepaper which listing on exchange - it's NoBs Crypto. This token promote by McAfee and everybody believe in 1$=1 NoBs
