estimated supply over the next 10 years?
I believe the total supply will not exceed 500 million full units in DNotes. Without doing any calculations (DNotes decreases I believe by 10% in block reward yearly), I'd take a wild stab at ~200 million DNote supply in 10 years. Currently ~30k DNotes enter supply per day, which is just upwards of 11 million new units per year. This decreases by some 10% yearly, and there is 105 million already in the current supply. My best guess would be ~ 190-200 million DNotes supply by 2025.

Also, here is one of DNotes' competitors: http://www.neucoin.org/en/This coin has a lot going for it in terms of people behind it, big ideas, vision for mainstream integration. Major weakness so far: way too stringent account verification procedures (it's almost as bad as Xapo!). Clearly there is a lot to be gained by requiring some verification to prevent fraud. However, many people are drawn to cryptocurrencies because of the ability to "bank" anonymously, and really, to be able to set up shop with a wallet without having to go through a lot of paperwork. I think the cryptocoin which will truly rise to the top will be one that strikes the perfect balance between sufficient verification, or such that can ultimately be convenient (such as voluntarily linking a wallet to a Facebook account for transactions within Facebook), and also maintains the ability to get up and running and fully functional with very little hassle within minutes, which means to a certain extent being able to do business anonymously. Big problem with Xapo and apparently Neucoin: the need for a cellular phone. It's true that lots of people have cell phones so any good cryptocoin should be able to be handled completely with a cell phone. However, for those who don't have cell phones (or at least the *right kind* of cell phones), making sms verification mandatory just to have a fully functional account is going to cut out a significant number of people. So for the time being, at least, there should always be options which don't require owning a cell phone. But yes, for those who have them and want to use them, it's totally fine and wonderful to have optional 2FA. 2FA also works with tablets, so even people without cell phones can use it. Thanks Wiser, I haven't had a chance to take a serious look at them as of yet. They had a pretty heavy duty banner campaign going for a while. Last I checked, there wasn't much information available, now I can see there is plenty of info available. May take a while to dig down into the information. Requiring the user to have or use a cell phone sounds like a bit of an issue though, my first thought is to find out how they handle recovery of coins, and if they can handle recovery is it a centralized system?

Hi alt19 and welcome to the DNotes forum. The charts on your site will be a huge help to investors as they compare different cryptocurrencies. I'm on my way out for the day so didn't have a chance to check all the returns on DNotes, but the one year return is over +130% (not -32.82%). http://alt19.com/19/cryptocurrency.php Good luck with your project!! thank you I'm doing a revision now, you're right it's an issue with DNotes return numbers at http://alt19.com/19/cryptocurrency.php , because NOTE/BTC has been listed at Cryptsy since September, 2015, thank you for pointing it out, also some questions: does NOTE have ACP or normal checkpoints? merged mining?

Normal. Our 51% attack protection relies on KGW, but we have also been discussing merged mining options as well, as the technology advanced are growing rapidly in mining tech. Who was it that got 51% attacked and implemented ACP? Edit: nvm, was FTC

Like your sortable crypto table alt19. What are your plans for it? thanks no special plans for it, I'm just using it on a daily basis, personally you're welcome, too inflation matters, and I think the information at coinmarketcap is not sufficient, besides they often have wrong numbers (outdated available supply) for coins that are pretty inactive I'm going to calculate estimated total supply over the next 10 years you may also like http://alt19.com charts and altcoin historical data in csv format, or altcoin indices http://alt19.com/marketindexes.html, these indices have been calculated since 2013 and they predicted a rise in LTC several months ago https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1089664 some of them are just for fun though

It has been a long time. Delighted to see you. Hope you are finally caught up a little. As I said before, competition is good, healthy and should always be welcome. I communicate with our industry peers almost on a daily basis. DNotes is quite unique in its own ways. We are always willing to do more and take the leadership to address industry problems. I am sure Neucoin will do well.

Good to see you again, Wiser! I just commented about how the blockchain will have a massive impact. (Even more than the internet, if that seems possible). This is just one more small way. As far as the repossessing goes, I think some buy-here pay-here places can dis-able a car if they want it back. And, since the blockchain said so, it HAS to be re-possessed. That is a part of the blockchain that makes it work, and could not be compromised. Expect more and more uses for the blockchain coming our way. Smokey

Wow! Everyone should check it out. It is very impressive. We are very proud and appreciative of what your team has accomplished. You have captured DNotes' vision and core mission with super clarity. It was CoinTelegraph that first characterized DNotes as the currency with a purpose. You have articulated that purpose in kind. We wish you all our very best wishes for the great work you have been doing for veterans, firefighters and first responders. Thank you very much, Brandon. I am very proud of you.

The people that would benefit the most financially from early adoption / investment will, once again, be left out. One of the things I love about DNotesVault is that you need nothing more than an email address and occasional access to an internet terminal, to take advantage of an early investment in DNotes.

yes, a systematical data may define this new global economy of digital currency and explain it. a kind of such analysis can be used on any publication - regarding the new global economy estimated supply over the next 10 years?

I have been working harder than ever since I am determined to get a business book pushed sometime 1st quarter next year. I am passionately committed to work with small business owners to help beef up their retirement accounts, work with their employees to introduce CRISP For Employee Incentive Benefits, and eventually provide the foundation for them to use DNotes as a medium of exchange. My book is very inspirational and unique. I trust that it will be very well received.
