We should appreciate Thomas Tuchel for giving encouragement to Chelsea players in the midst of the sanctions

If you read my post above, you will understand that I appreciate him and the whole Chelsea players. I said, Chelsea isn't a team to be underestimated since they have good players to beat any team. But I assumed Chelsea isn't the favorite team to qualify because they are against Real Madrid in this round. Real Madrid is a specialist trophy of UCL. However, if Real Madrid has a problem with player injury, especially for Benzema, they can be defeated by Chelsea.

Exactly Madrid's defeat in the El Clasico match against Barcelona does not mean that Real ended its role in the Champions League. I think not any effect after defeating from Barcelona on domestic league because Real Madrid as most experience team and have great mentality on champion league, maybe we can remember when success trough to quarter final where 1st leg defeated by PSG and can come back on 2nd leg for scoring 3-1 and have aggregate 3-2 for qualifying to quarter final. With internal problem for Chelsea I think give benefit for Real Madrid how possibility qualify to semi final. I really believe Manchester city is able to play smart and able to shift the ATM in the champions league, even though I have never met but I believe Pepguardiola is able to bring Manchester city to the semifinals of the champions league, because Pepguardiola already knows his weaknesses. ATM because Pepguardiola once faced ATM when he was coaching Barca, according to my observation ATM will definitely play defensively like they face liferpol, and they only rely on counter-attacks, but Manchester will still play attacking and will feature beautiful and smart players, the first leg Manchester city will playing in front of the public themselves, and for sure they will play more confidently..

Manchester City are stronger than Manchester United and they will surely bring more pressure on defense system of Athletico Madrid but will they be able to break the defense of Athletico? I don't know honestly. Additionalky, Simeone and his players are very good to operate their favorite counter attacking tactic with clubs like Manchester City.

We do see Manchester City have issues with their defense and if small, medium clubs can score goals and even steal points from City, Athletico Madrid can do the same and even do it better.

Hopefully this will not be a significant gap later.
This condition really makes Chelsea affected at least until next season and it is also possible that they will also be different from before.

I think Chelsea's sale will be completed soon. With the new team leader, all problems are solved. I wonder if Saudi prince Salman, who has now bought Newcastle United, will make an attempt for Chelsea as well. An attempt can be made for Chelsea from countries such as Qatar.

Not sure about this yet but hopefully they will be in the right hands later because it is certain that there will be a massive exodus when a change of ownership like this is sure to have an impact even if it doesn't have much effect but still it will feel good from the player's point of view , management and other things.

The Chelsea vs Real Madrid match in the last eight of the champions league this season has indeed attracted a lot of public attention, especially now that Real Madrid appears so on fire both in domestic and European competitions.in contrast to Chelsea, which is currently under pressure given the ongoing sanctions.they received from English football and also Europe where the assets owned by roman abramovich are currently being frozen so Chelsea are very difficult in financial condition they do not have much money to make the initial trip again between countries they live like the UCL game in April maybe this also very influential with the performance that will be displayed by the foster children of Thomas Tuchel

I see you're just going with the favorite teams on paper, while that's a smart move and that's what majority will be doing but I think we could see some disappointment in this quarter final. One or two big team could get knockout. This is champions league, all teams qualifed to this point have been exceptional and are capable of winning their game due to strategic approach and luck been on their side. I'm still believing this is going to be an all English finals and I'll be putting my bet on Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Obviously as a Chelsea fans, I strongly believe we can go pass Real Madrid and any of the team between Manchester City and Atletico Madrid (hopefully). We did it last season and if we were to play them again this season we could pull it otf. We facing Atletico means they'll be knocking out Manchester city and that's the strongest team on our road to the final. The success of the English league and la liga in sending 3 of their representatives to the quarter-finals shows that the EPL is a fairly competitive league so far, looking at the opportunities for the three English teams, maybe we will see a repeat of the 2018/19-2020/21 champions league final this year, where the 2 teams that competed from one country will meet each other in the final, after the elimination of PSG yesterday, I think liverpool, manchester city and bayern munchen are three strong teams that have the potential to reach this year final and I hope that manchester city will be able to get their first champions league trophy this year after last season they failed in the final.

Simeone also understands Guardiola very well, so I don’t see any advantage for City here. And as you remember, even in their golden days, Barcelona often lost to Atlético. Even if you take the quotes of the bookmakers, you can see that they believe that Atlético will be the winner in this pair in every 5th confrontation.

Very nice to see the result of the quarter-final draws. Looks some strong candidates will face weaker teams and probably have a big chance to qualify for the next round. I only see Real Madrid face a strong team from EPL (Chelsea), the match seems to be very tight because this team has strong midfielders and defenders. However, I am still optimistic that Real Madrid to qualify for the semi-final round.  

Who qualifies for the next round ?

IMO. Here are the team to qualify for the next round:
- Real Madrid
- Man City
- Bayern Munchen
- Liverpool

I'm more sure that Chelsea will qualify for the top 4 or the semi-finals, not Real Madrid.
Real Madrid will have a hard time in the last 8 against Chelsea and Chelsea will take advantage of the opportunities in the 1st leg at Stamford Bridge. The slightest omission from Madrid players will be used by Chelsea players as an opportunity to score or a goal by K. Havertz.

I still remember how Chelsea played against Newcastle United in the 29th Premier League match, 13 March to be exact. Newcastle were very focused on defending and Chelsea's players had almost no gaps to score, but K. Havertz arrived to score with a world-class finish in the 89th minute. Well, the 1st leg against Real Madrid, Chelsea will repeat that again. I'm pretty sure the game hasn't even started yet.

That's what you need to be aware of for Manchester city, basically Simeone is good at tactics with a quick counter-attack that will make Mancity's defense more guarded but that's all from his second strategy.

Pep Guardiola must have prepared for this match, I also favored Mancity in this match, the dominance of pressure and possession of the ball Mancity can do it, only we can see how this game will turn out.

The style of play of atletico madrid is already being known by pep he has a good record against spanish team ever since he has been in city, what city needs is to avoid early goal from Atletico, because those guys can defend a lone goal from 20min till 90 min lol
