City is stable, doing good overall while ATM isn't at its best shape this season. Honestly it will be a surprise to see ATM resisting City. I expect the result to be determined since the first leg.

If based on the paper lineups and condition of the team overall, Man City may have a higher chance than Atletico Madrid. I am sure that each coach has been preparing their best strategy, plans, and also lineups to be put into their big match to be qualified for the next round. This is a little bit hard to guess who will win, but in this case, in my opinion, Man City may be the one that has a higher chance to win, at least 1 score is different.
This also happens to Real Madrid and Chelsea, the result is actually still difficult to be predicted. But personally, I will bet for Real Madrid that wins the match if we are seeing the player lineups and also power so far. I never underestimate Chelsea because this is also a big club that also has a big chance to win. I am sure that both Real Madrid and Chelsea must work very hard to defeat each other. Not easy in this match.

Manchester City and Chelsea have the chance of winning in my opinion because these two are the teams from English Premier League. and in this League, there are a lot bigger competitions. every team in this League has the ability to beat a world-class opponent.

so, I am obviously always going to prefer a team which has been through a lot more competition rather than a team which has not. and for me, I think Manchester City and Chelsea are the hardworking teams. I am obviously not saying that Atletico Madrid or  Real Madrid are not good enough. they are also good opponents and great teams but I think  Man City and Chelsea are just one step ahead of them.

It is difficult to guess the final result of who passes the next round. Relying on historical statistics is very bad to guess the final result. Comparing the players of these two teams is relatively the same, only Madrid has players with older ages. Madrid have superior experience and more UCL titles, While Chelsea with Tuchel were champions last year. But I think Manchester City are not unreasonably favourites for the upcoming game. At any case, they will try to score the maximum number of goals at home, as they did against Sporting. Actually, if you look at the current Bayern are very favored and it seems that luck is still very on his side. I agree, the way City press I think will be lot more difficult for Atletico to handle. They might able to handle till one point of the game but will break out to them eventually. This is not as easy as facing United and even while facing United they were having a tough time. Atletico might have a shot in counters against City but I expect City's current defence to deal with them easily. I think City are very much the favorites to advance.
