The match is most likely to be a draw. England lost the fifth wicket for 83 runs. And England lost the wicket of Stokes by 149 runs. The partnership between Bairstow and Stokes was 66 runs. However, Stokes is collecting only 26 runs. I thought he would collect at least 50 more. However, losing 6 wickets, England managed to score 200 runs. The match is being delayed due to rain, there is no news about when the match will start again.

Considering this is the third day and England still trail by 160 odd runs and they already lost their 8th wicket. It is possible to see the results if India could pile up runs at a faster run rate and hopefully we do not see any rain interruption and if that is the case we could even see the results.

Meanwhile Redhead Bairstow keep going strong, 3 back to back tons for him. He's turning his test cricket upside down. It was more like Him vs Indian bowlers.

Jonny Bairstow is playing his best and rescuing the team and he is the sole consistent performer for England this year and if not for his century the situation would have been pathetic for England.

Rishab Panth and Jadeja formed a good partnership while they were batting earlier. Panth was going after the English bowlers whereas jadeja was rotating the strike. Bairstow and Stokes have done the same when they were playing against Newzealand. I am hoping they would do the same today.

Mohammad Sami is much disappointed, as he's doing well in this session. Once after the drop Bairstow made a boundary making 50 partnership. The partnership have come out of just 62 balls. This resembles same as the match against New Zealand.

The early Indian batsmen did not do very well but later Rishab Panth and Jadeja's good partnership helped India to score big. Both have committed centuries there. On the other hand, no one except Bairstow could score well for England. With Bairstow Century comparatively England get rid of miserable situation. Don't know why they didn't start the game a bit early, but some other countries do it if a test match gets interrupted by bad weather. The spectators loss their interest from test match when it ends as draw after 5 days gameplay. A reserve day feature should be added in every test match. It will be useful during the rainy season. We have seen the benefits of reserve day in the WTC final match. Anyway, India will win this match if it doesn't get interrupted by the rain in the next two days.

Most of the time two countries never follow things which are helpful or having some bad effect for them one is Australia and second is England I am watching this cricket for nearly three decades and I never watch anything from them specially for Asian teams because they still feel superior and take advantages of these flaws which are helping them. In first three days of this test match we already have some good cricket but if they started one hour before scheduled time then surely this can be helpful for both teams, and we can accept result as well which is going to be interested.

Right now, India is in strong position but still both results possible like India or England win because we can't predict about this with having some very exciting players in match.

The kind of aggressive cricket England is playing nowadays i think they will fancy chasing down even 350-ish score.

They might fail but there is always some sort of possibility, if couple of partnership gets going for Poms so i think India need to be careful and try to tighten all screws by crossing 400 marks so that they can be aggressive with the ball on the field and go for kill.

On Kohli-Bairstow drama, actually it was Bairstow who started the conversation, not kohli, he just reacted to it but media (SKY broadcaster) spinned the narrative as it was kohli who poked the bear.

The results of such unnecessary aggression and over-smartness are not always desirable. It is certain that India needs more than 400 runs on board. Atleast a 450 runs target is a must, because if Bairstow, Stokes, Root create partnership surely England will reach 400 runs target with ease. In one of the match against New Zealand none believed that the target will be reached, but at the final moment the runs came in a much faster phase and the same caused England win the match. Indian fans are very negative tbh.

This kid made 200+ runs in this test match, with this very technique and fearless cricket with great maturity but still we are cursing him. We should cut him slack as this is always high risk shot but also very rewarding, sometimes its going to come off and sometimes it's not, it's just part of the cricket.
