Bangladesh scored 365 runs based on the performance of Liton and Mushfiqur alone. While this is a good enough collection, but no other player has played well except Mushfiqur and Liton. It is both frustrating and embarrassing. I am waiting to see how the Bangladeshi bowlers perform.

Mirpur's pitch is not a batting-friendly pitch. This helps the spinners quite well. 365 runs was not a bad collection. We know this from the irregular performance of Bangladeshi batsmen in the Test format. However, it is a shame that 6 batsmen will return to the dressing room with zero runs. However, if the bowler is able to play well, Bangladesh has a chance to win this match.

Bangladesh have scored 365 run good total in 1st inning. Unfortunately Ebadot has been gone run out.Musfiqur was brilliant batting in 1st innings. The only positive for Bangladesh from this series is the fact that they have proved the argument of Shakib's one man army wrong. Even without significant contribution from Shakib, the team has put up a good performance.

Musfiqur Rahim unbeaten 175 runs and Liton 141 assists Bangladesh 365 on the score board. Sri Lanka made a solid start and Bangladeshi bowlers only able to take two wickets in the evening session. SL will trail 222 more runs, and they have eight wickets in hands. Karunaratne complete the second day on 70 runs, and most certainly looking centuries in the third day.

I think, 2nd Test match will be also drawn. Srilanka batsman doing very well like 1st test match.They have good start batting also.But Bangladeshi bowlers didn’t take too wicket. I have to say the way Bangladesh played in the first innings was really unbelievable. I have never seen a more sorry-looking batting card and also a great performance from them at the same time. 2 of the Bangladeshi batsmen did almost all the scoring.

Yes, they have proved that without a very significant performance from Shakib Al Hasan they can hold their own. But I am expecting a good performance from Shakib Al Hasan in the bowling department otherwise I am quite shared that this match also is going to end up in a draw.

Bangladesh made the highest partnership ever in a Test after 24/5, that's quite unusual. Such rescue jobs don't happen all the time, but they are very rare. Bangladesh should be proud of their records despite losing quick wickets. But the Sri Lankan batters put the game under control and most probably headed for another draw.

OK.. I agree with you. 3 days of play remain (270 overs), and there is a good chance that the momentum may change. I would say that there will be a good chance of a result, if Bangladesh manages to bowl out Sri Lanka before the end of today's second session. But in case Sri Lanka bats out today's sessions, and manages to get to a total of close to 400, then the chances of a result will be very slim. They are still trailing by 200+ runs and given the slow rate of scoring, there is a good chance that the Lankans may play defensively and target a draw. If there is a result, then it will be in favor of Bangladesh.
