There are teams that took multiple decades to develop their infrastructure and find performers that could match the International standards, for example England never had a great ODI team for decades and they started developing players of ODI and T20 after the introduction of T20 Cricket, India never had a good fast bowler for decades and only recently they started to find exceptional talents in that department. Some countries like South Africa never got to replace the legendary players they once had and Bangladesh will have talented players in the future that would have an impact on the Test level.

Let's hope things get better for Bangladesh in the future, right now it's very disappointing performance. Hopefully on day 4 we will see result on second test in favour of SA. Bangladesh have there own T20 league and there is lot of cricket going on there, still quality is missing.

Bangladesh has very long and good history in cricket even they have test status just 23 years ago, but their set-up is very old but sadly as I read due to domestic corruption they fail to develop this all never have any solid plan for setting things in positive way as few mentioning other countries they develop things, but these all happen just because of strong approach by their own boards and other authorities with this all Bangladesh is also can do this all but first hey need to bring some better set up in management and then work on all fields which must for improving their cricket setup currently they are third most populated country in cricket but sadly due to
their own issues they are at bottom of all lists which is not good.
They already lost some good time but still they have few things which can bring them in good position with available talent which is good but need some good development programs now they have some good funds through BPL which also can help them.

The problem with the Bangladesh cricket team is that they are just not patient enough to play the test cricket. They are decent enough in One Day Internationals and also trying to improve in the t20s but in Test cricket, they are just not patient enough and fail to see what the bowlers and the batman are trying to do.

The problem is there are a lot of fixing and fabrication going on in the first-class cricket of Bangladesh even though Bangladesh do have a good domestic setup. A player will obviously be disheartened If he knows that there is no point in playing a game because they are not going to win.

Bangladesh Board is not worried about the performance of the Test format. I think so. Bangladesh's domestic leagues are not up to standard. And often we get news of match-fixing in the domestic leagues of Bangladesh. Besides, I am not aware of any domestic tournament organized by Bangladesh Board to improve the Test format. If Bangladesh Board wants to find talented players for the Test format then domestic leagues must be improved, match-fixing must be stopped.

South Africa won the second test by huge margin as Bangladesh collapse their batting department just 80 runs.Once more for the second time in two tests, BAN have been bowled out for under 100 and Keshav Maharaj the name who cause this annihilation. It's all spinners wickets again. It has been more than 20 years that BAN was granted the test status yet their mentality don't belong to the mark. One more poor and disheartening execution by Bangladesh.

They recently won ODI series against South Africa in South Africa for the very first time in history. But still I cant say they are a reliable team in ODI nor in T20I format. They have there T20 league but still they are playing qualifying round to play the T20I WC last year. Bangladesh really need to work hard on there domestic setup.

The problem with the Bangladesh cricket team is that they are just not patient enough to play the test cricket. They are decent enough in One Day Internationals and also trying to improve in the t20s but in Test cricket, they are just not patient enough and fail to see what the bowlers and the batman are trying to do.

Bangladesh is really a great team in ODI format. But they don't deserve the test status for their worst performance in test format. The players of Bangladesh need more guidance to to better in test matches. Their bowlers aren't able to bring much variance and put pressure on the opponents. Even, the experienced players of Bangladesh showing worthless batting performance. BCB should take necessary steps to improve the ability of their players. They also need a better captain who will be able take the right decisions. Bangladesh is at 8th position in the ICC World Test Championship (2021-2023) Points Table

Considering the first innings performance what Bangladesh did in the second innings of the match is really disappointing. Even in the first innings there is continued wicket fall at specific interval, but the team managed to score 217 runs. During the second innings also it should've managed to score atleast 200 runs. Losing entire wickets for 80 runs in a test match shows that Bangladesh needs lots of improvement.

Maharaj is the biggest nightmare for Bangladesh in this series as he takes 16 wickets in just three innings which is surely amazing performance from this short man but on other side surely a terrible series for Bangladesh specially after winning ODI series and South African playing without their main players which are not available due to their duties in IPL.

Now with just 23 overs and 80 runs on board Bangladesh have one unwanted record that they are victim of 16th occasion when a team is bowled by two bowlers with this record they face the worst defeat, and now they are just above England in WTC ranking with most chances they will drop out at bottom because now in next few weeks England is going to have some points.

With this result now we can hope from BCB that they will think about this format as well and bring some good changes for better quality which helps them for staying in good place.

It is easy to criticize someone, but it’s easier to appreciate the players as well. Bangladishi team needs an appreciation as well. They are always under the pressure of criticism.

They came to the field a bit later than other team. They need time as well to be considered as an experienced team.

16 wins from 130 matches is the worst which is bringing some good criticism for them, they badly fail to adopt this and been never deserve this status mostly peoples were feeling Zimbabwe is the worst team in this format, but they are also having better record and can compete in this format if they solve their inner political problems which are hurting cricket very badly in long run.

But, for Bangladesh there is no problem like this they are completely failed to adopt this and going down badly day by day which is really a problem which need to settle or ICC need to do some other options.

Bangladesh has proper domestic infrastructure and I don't know why that domestic setup cant produce any quality Test team till date. Remember this is South Africa second Sting team and against them Bangladesh were bowled out for 53 in 1st test and on 80 in second test.
The positive thing for SA from this series is that "they are not throwing the doors open to welcome back the IPL absentees who "vacated their spots", as coach Mark Boucher put it, after finding a strong second-tier of players in their series sweep over Bangladesh. (source) "
