I would say that there will be a good chance of a result, if Bangladesh manages to bowl out Sri Lanka before the end of today's second session. But in case Sri Lanka bats out today's sessions, and manages to get to a total of close to 400, then the chances of a result will be very slim. They are still trailing by 200+ runs and given the slow rate of scoring, there is a good chance that the Lankans may play defensively and target a draw. If there is a result, then it will be in favor of Bangladesh.

Well jokes on you because 3 days already have been played and we also had a delay because of rain interruption. I really am not expecting any result in this match except for a draw. And considering the fact that this is a batting pitch, I don't think any results will be possible even though both the teams try really hard. And I really don't think that either of the teams are going to take that chance.

Else the Bangladesh batsmen need to make sure that Sri Lankans don't get enough overs to chase down the target. They need to defend for 60-65 overs tomorrow. Should not be that hard, since two of their best batsmen are at crease (Mushfiqur Rahim and Litton Das). If both of them could handle Asitha Fernando, then the series will end up at 0-0.

^ By the looks of it, I think it will have to be another middle-order excellence from the Bangladesh batting lineup otherwise they might have a genuine chance of losing this test match and eventually lose the series. I expected better from Bangladesh after the performance they have shown in the first test match. I absolutely agree that if they can survive the initial slot of the first session on the 5th day of the test match they will have a very good chance of a draw and from this position, a draw will be a very good result for Bangladesh.

Yes, it is true and in the same pitch where we are watching Sri Lankan batsmen making runs quite easily, we can see the Bangladeshi batsmen really struggle to pick up runs.

I have always thought that Bangladesh don't have the skill which is required to play test cricket and it is quite evident why I think that. The Bangladesh batsman have very poor batting skills when it comes to test cricket. If Bangladesh has to depend on two or three batsman to score all the runs, I think it is a very bad situation for Bangladesh cricket team.

Captain Mominul Haque doesn't deserve to stay in the test squad. He is playing very bad in every test series. He got only 2 fifties out of his last ten test matches (see here). Moreover, he isn't capable to lead his team properly. Bangladesh will lose this second test without any doubts. Mushfiqur and Litton won't be able to make a big partnership like the first innings.
