If Sri Lanka can play till the second season and is able to give more than 120 targets then it can be said for sure that the match will be a draw. But I think we will see Sri Lanka batting all day today and the match will be a draw. The pitch is completely batting-friendly. Not helping the bowlers in any way. It is very boring to watching such a test match.

There was a lot of short balls from the spinners which took the pressure away from the Sri Lankan batsman totally. I think if Bangladesh put enough pressure on Sri Lanka in the first innings Bangladesh would have had a chance of winning this test match. I believe Bangladesh is going to try to win the next one for sure.

I am going to disagree because Bangladesh does have some wins against big teams in the test format but unfortunately, some of them are not series twins. those are single-match wins here and there and that's why I think people don't remember those.

Chances of getting a result was very low with such a track. On top of that, bowling from both the sides lacked venom. The pacers were defanged by the track and the spinners were not being aggressive. Nayeem Hasan bowled somewhat well, but he is going to miss the next test. On the Lankan side, Embuldeniya looked clueless. In short, this match did hardly any justice to the fans who watched it.

And in Afghanistan, the situation has worsened ever since Taliban took over the administration. So out of 12 test nations, 25% are in trouble. And this is a very large share, give the minute number of cricket playing nations. However, unlike the case with Zimbabwe the quality of cricket in Sri Lanka is yet to witness any significant deterioration.

True its not wise to travel to Srilanka for cricket but Srilanka with the help of icc can arrange its home series at some neutral venue like Dubai. We saw PCB doing that for many years since security situation in Pakistan was not good. I don't think icc won't allocate funds for that since there preferences are different.

But, I think in the second match they will be aiming for the win. this is a very good chance for Bangladesh to have a series win against Sri Lanka. but if Bangladesh wants to win they will have to bowl in very good line and length otherwise they will be leaking runs. Just like they did in the first match.

I see this as a very big problem for ICC because they are not worried about increasing the number of team that plays cricket regularly and the teams that are playing cricket regularly seems to be in trouble. at least some of them are. so I wonder what will happen if these teams stop playing cricket enterally. because when your country is not doing well economically playing cricket can be the last thing on your mind.

The impact may not be immediately visible. In most cases, the national team members may be able to train without any issues. Take Afghanistan for example. Players such as Rashid Khan are playing in various franchise leagues around the world and therefore they are not affected by what is going on in their native country. But at the same time, the domestic cricket structure is disrupted, and that means that in the long term there will be no suitable replacements for the current bunch of players. The same is happening with Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka as well.
