It's very much possible as the Indian team has a weird habit of winning matches at home, despite losing a toss. It hardly happens anywhere in the cricketing world. Would be really impressive and satisfactory experience if Indian batters outbat the Aussies but Aussies as a team known for their fightback so no prediction atm.

but after the loss of 1 wicket and Ashwin coming up the order I have doubts. Ashwin has 5 centuries in test cricket so I would not think of him as a night watchman. As Rohit has shown his aggression on day one I believe Ashwin was sent to rotate the strike which Rahul was struggling to do.

A remarkable comeback by Jadu and a big day for Ashwin. Ashwin became the second Indian after Anil Kumble to clinch 450 wickets in Test Cricket. Jadu took all the crucial wickets today namely Labuschagne, Steven Smith, Matt Renshaw, Handscomb, and Murphy. The top two test-ranking batters are on that list. What an accomplishment for Jadu today.

Axar Patel was portrayed as a replacement for Jadu but it seems he is still not ready and this guy has a lot of cricket left in him.

I think the reason why Australia performed so badly in this match is because of the conditions. Because we know Australian conditions are very different from Asian conditions. In Australia usually the pitches are pace and bounce bowling assisted pitches but in Asia the spin bowling assisted pitches. So maybe the Australian batting lineup is wrapped up in only 177 runs.

Nobody can predict whether Australia can fight back after there first innings collapse or not, let India enjoy there awesome bowling on day one. Suryakumar Ashok Yadav is finally playing his first test match after making ODI and T20I dbut in 2021. It took 2 years for BCCI to figure out that Suryakumar Ashok Yadav can play Test also. Ravindrasinh Anirudhsinh Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin both took 8 wickets so it means the track is for spinners.

The same thing happened and Australia manage to score only 177 run and were all out. None of the Australian batsman were able to make any considerable score. When you see David Warner and Usman khwaja scoring one run each which shows how bad the Australian started the innings.

Jadeija was the best bowler from the Indian team who took 5 wickets and and almost won this match for the Indians.

The home team always gets the benefit as their management make pitches according to their team so same happened with India.  They knew the pitch and the balling attack was good which didn't allow Australia to score any runs .

While I have nothing to say about today play, Aussies are bundled out without any resistance which was expecting specially after having wickets of Marnus and Smith things looking out of the way for them, and they can go down without any trouble because first day play is already given all impression how things could be happened in coming days as well and tally of wickets for Ashwin, Jadeja and Axar are going to be amazing, and they are going to have good start of 2023 while we can expect good performance from these in throughout year.

It is a good start for team India. While the Australian team stumbled in the beginning, the opening pair of the Indian team played very well. Australia lost the wickets of their two openers for just 2 runs. But India's opening pair collected 76 runs. They have performed very well. Now if India's experienced middle order is able to perform a bit better and not face any batting disaster then India can easily collect 300 runs. It seems that India will win this match.

Wasn't that surprising for me. I was expecting that the Australian batsmen would crumble against Indian spin attack. IMO, they have just two batsmen who have the capability to handle Indian spinners - Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne. But both of them failed to get to a 50 yesterday and got out in unnecessary manner. In case of Labuschagne, he looked confident out there and I was quite disappointed when he got out to the bowling of Jadeja. And as expected, none of the other batsmen provided any resistance and folded up without a fight.
