He deserves to earn that numbers plus he plays overseas so it will be bad decision for him if he takes that $8,000-$10,000 per month, And if he accept that really since there was a statement that salary is not factor then provably its a wrong decision if that's true.
Yeah of course, that salary is something very attractive for a young player who hasn't played in the PBA yet and has not earn close to that amount yet. I'm not sure how much he is earning during college if they have pay, but pretty sure not big enough to compete with what he signed for now. I find japanese players are so soft we already see how they played on FIBA and filipino players always beat them.
They are not mate, if you are watching FIBA asia, they are very competitive and we don't beat them all the time. It's better for him to play in phils since he can earned more and will be trained well by the elite coaches on PBA.
He can't earn that amount in the Philippines playing in the PBA as a rookie, with his salary now, he is even getting paid bigger than JMF if it's true that he is earning at least 1 million pesos per month. But mostly Philippines always win over japan so this show that they are soft, I don't think thirdy can learn big from that league if he will accept that and much better if he stays on Philippines and prepare for PBA since he can earn more money rather than playing at that rate, imagine how big disaster if he can get an injury for that matters so best he will stick on playing on PH if the offer is not good.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

But mostly Philippines always win over japan so this show that they are soft,
It doesn't mean like that as even if the Philippines have most wins over Japan, but the game is very competitive. There are also times we loss against Japan as they also have great players in their roster. Remember that they have an NBA player in their team, which is Rui Hachimura. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nba/2019/06/20/wiz-make-hachimura-1st-japanese-player-ever-in-nba-1st-rd/39609071/I don't think thirdy can learn big from that league if he will accept that
He already did. here's the news for that - https://sports.abs-cbn.com/basketball/news/2020/06/24/thirdy-signs-san-en-neophoenix-japana-s-b-league-69006 and much better if he stays on Philippines and prepare for PBA since he can earn more money rather than playing at that rate, imagine how big disaster if he can get an injury for that matters so best he will stick on playing on PH if the offer is not good.
If you read the post above, he is earning more than what the best player in the PBA is earning, so if it's all about money, he made a good decision signing with San-en NeoPhoenix in Japan’s B.League.

AFAIK, JMF's salary is only Php 500, 000 per month, so yeah, Thirdy has a higher salary than him and hopefully it's not an insult to the PBA that they can't provide a good salary that's some player starting to choose playing abroad.
JMF salary that we know by papers is indeed much lesser than the offer for Thirdy, but remember there's also info that Danny I (Lakai) said about underground or outside the contract and it's much bigger than the regular salary. In regards to Kai, after NBA G-League if ever he didn't made it, Euroleague might be he's next destination. If money matters the league can give bigger offers.

In regards to Kai, after NBA G-League if ever he didn't made it, Euroleague might be he's next destination. If money matters the league can give bigger offers. Most probably, but I'm hoping he will succeed on his journey to the NBA so we will have our first Filipino NBA player in the NBA. Based on the progress, I think he is on the right path already.

Aguilar, Wong fined 20K for 5-on-5 scrimmage, will undergo swab testingI understand the excitement of playing basketball again but these guys should follow the protocol that large gatherings are not allowed at the moment, not just in sports but for other regular activities as well. Just because IATF allows the resume of practice, players, even how popular they are, will just conduct a scrimmage. For sure, there are other people here and not just players (obviously). The fine is small. Should serve a lesson if they will increase the fine. 1,000+, 2,000+ everyday confirmed cases. The majority came from Metro Manila. These players should take the pandemic seriously.

Same here in the PBA where imports have bigger salaries in their contracts but we should also note that they are short term and they should do all their best to impress their company if they want to get a contract extension or whatever. With regards to Thirdy, the kid is very talented but i don't think he got the height that can compete with other imports especially coming from the US and Europe. There maybe some other motives on why they are bringing Pinoy imports to Japan, have read some article that there lots of Filipinos there so maybe Filipino imports would serve as crowd booster as well as they knew how fanatics Filipinos are to basketball specially if they see their kababayan playing overseas.

Thirdy has been competing internationally through the national team, though he is not tall but like you said he is talented, well, let's give him the opportunity to prove his skills in Japan, then let's judge, but if his contract would be short, surely the PBA is willing to accept him when he comes back. This is business, so they might have that kind of motive, but if Thirdy will not perform his usual, I don't think Filipino fans would waste their time supporting their "KABAYAN" when he is not exciting to watch at all.

He's not pick up for height he got chosen by his talent so I believe he can compete with other imports since his main weapon is effectiveness, athleticism, quickness and offensive threat. Japan see it that's why they choose thirdy as an import option. And for sure those ideas is part of marketing strategy since if they bring up pinoy imports on their league they will also brought a million fans.

Seriously. A lot of rumors are spreading that Metro Manila would go back to ECQ to extent that we just hit our highest average cases per day, which 2,400 plus. If that happens. I don't think PBA will resume this year.

The government needs to take actions avoiding to spread and infect more people. With that, probably PBA might be back next year no question it's more important to prevent more damages than thinking about business and entertainment, sorry to say without the vaccine this virus needs to take care more strictly.

Honestly, it sucks. Government lifted Metro Manila to GCQ as they've realized that they can't help all the poorest of the poor citizen to supply foods for so long. They just let operating some of the businesses, transportation, etc... and turned out not well, but more worse. Pretty bad call, afterall. Lots of people are now going out even if it's not necessary to go out as there's no police/soldier now patrolling. In mid July they have to bring back Metro Manila to ECQ or more worse would happen (hope I'm wrong). I wonder were they're going to use all of the loans.

Will see, I'm not seeing PBA cannot resume this year though, I am thinking on how the people on their organizations especially the players will be able to survive, though they are earning well but they are just receiving their salary too and they have different lifestyle, so just like what NBA did, I think PBA will still resume no matter what. Also, I'm thinking of the PAGCOR casino, it's billion pesos revenue that we will be missing if that will not be re-open, so these are big revenue generating business that are vital to help the economy of the Philippines.

No, it is possibly not for now for there are guidelines being set from the IATF which for now sports that has physical contact is not allowed. There are only certain provimces do allow for now to open entertainment esrbalishment due to zero record of covid case. Besides the PBA l organization coule not risk als to let the players resume their plays for all the blame will be to them. And again this is a violation for now not only in physical contact but clearly the no crowd gathering policy of not more than 10 individuals. If you are just hearing news to resume PBA then that is just rumors for now the Philippine country striving to fight the transmission of virus and then in just a small amount of mistake lockdown will going to happen again. Pretty sure it will be a disaster.

They issued a memo recently allowing the training or basketball and football again, but without contact, and other measures will have to be observed, it's all here - https://www.pna.gov.ph/articles/1107883I guess there's always a way if the PBA would really want to resume, if other provinces has no cases of covid-19, then they can go to that area to play basketball and stay their until the conference or the season is over. Just like what the NBA did, right? They went to Orlando to finish the NBA season, so anything is really possible for the sake of helping the economy.

It's a big loss indeed, but there's no other option but to prevent gamblers to have close interactions, it's a risk for the economy that the government needs to face, budget who are enjoying the taxes and income from this business is now needed to cover by the financial aid from the government.

Also, I'm thinking of the PAGCOR casino, it's billion pesos revenue that we will be missing if that will not be re-open, so these are big revenue generating business that are vital to help the economy of the Philippines.
It's a big loss indeed, but there's no other option but to prevent gamblers to have close interactions, it's a risk for the economy that the government needs to face, budget who are enjoying the taxes and income from this business is now needed to cover by the financial aid from the government. I have already laid out one good option in my post above, just like the NBA, they can go to a place where they can play and resume the season without a crowd. The economy will surely suffer if our government is afraid to risk, because whether the PBA will resume or not, the number of covid cases will still continue to resume, and that is slowly cutting our finances. Therefore without a proper balancing between the economy and the health issues, there's no way the Philippines can survive this long battle.

Marcial meets coaches, team managers to tackle non-scrimmage trainingNonetheless, the PBA is thankful enough to the IATF for its nod on the league's plan which hopefully leads all the way to the PBA restart by October.
The PBA board of governors will make the final decision on whether to resume the season or scrap it in a key meeting in August. We'll see now by the next month if PBA will resume or not. Mark the date.

As i have said on my post above, Thirdy has basketball talent and in fact he have shown it in the UAAP but it's another story when you go up against somebody in a pro league. Thirdy does not have yet the experience so it's a gamble on the team that pick him up as an import. This is interesting on how he will fare on that league. Does anyone here know when that Japan league would begun?

The pressure is high on him as he needs to prove he is worthy of the contract or the money that he is getting playing with San-en NeoPhoenix. It seems like he was accelerated since he does not have experience in the PBA before he played internationally, but I trust the team who signed him that they know what they are doing, they might see some potential from Thirdy that could help the team that we didn't see. The latest news I can search online was the cancel of the remainder of the season, there's no news yet when the league will open.
