He is referring to the 7th pick in the draft that they got from Magnolia Hotshots in exchange for Abueva.

Coach Topex is very clear on his statement that he wanted a big man if there is available when it is their turn.

James Laput and Santi Santillan could be a boost to their roster if ever they still not drafted when Phoenix's turn comes.

This year's rookie draft is talent laden and it could be so very deep.

Good news for Heruela too because he is still given a chance to play, it was published before that Phoenix hasn't sign him yet, I guess he was sign and later traded as well.

I do hope that's the case with Heruela but the last time i've heard about him is Phoenix did not offer him a contract and they can trade him because of "rights" issue, the same with Manuel.

Now, it's Alaska's turn if ever they want the service of Brian Heruela or not but there is a big possibility that they will sigh him because of how he performed last PBA bubble.

Heruela does fit with the system of Alaska, his defense is great and he can also produce points, I don't understand why TNT give him up to other team when TNT was lacking in terms of defense, I hope he'll get sign this player is so underrated.

Blackwater is just a farm team, that's what people are saying and that's what I observe as well.
Now that they don't have Belo anymore, I think there chances to compete is not good, I don't expect them to improve this coming season TBH.

He needs to be taken out from the team, there's no hope for him in that team.
My favorite player in that team is Roi Sumang, I also hope he will be given a chance to play in a good team.

IMO, Abueva is just different, he is so special, he has played in 2 teams I believe and his contribution is always impressed the fans.
Banchero is a good PG but he wasn't playing as expected with Magnolia, so the team maybe decided to trade him for Calvin, therefore, I think he will also struggle with the Phoniex.

I am inclined to believe that the acquisition of Manual and Banchero is more than enough to make up the loss of Calvin Abueva.

Manual is a low-post player, the same effectiveness with Abueva while the biggest advantage of Manuel is he is less volatile in terms of attitude compared to the beast.

This movement of players will continue in the coming weeks as there are rumors that Cstand will move to another SMC teams, that would be the news next week  .

SMB will not anymore get him as they already dump him for Tautua, so it's probably the Ginebra and not the Magnolia too as they already got Calvin.
