So next by this April when PBA starts, is it a new conference of the new season, I heard people here talking about new season, probably because PBA's schedule was affected due to the pandemic, so this year will be a new season? I think Bisdak share some screenshot, so he probably know this too, will see his reply and those who are real enthusiast with the PBA.

AFAIK, it's just another conference that we used to watch and not a new season. With still the numbers of active cases, we would likely still to see them on a bubble but if ever they decide to play on courts like Araneta, they'll just have to close it down for the audience/fans.

Guys, you might have some confusion. This year is a "new season". A season lasted a year with 3 conferences but since Covid-19 halted the last year's season (45th season) for 6 months, only the All-Filipino Cup was done.

If this year isn't a new season then the Commissioners Cup should be followed which is not possible for now because of imports and it shouldn't take 3 months to rest after the last conference.

The league even has a Rookie Draft in March so this year will be a new season, the "46th PBA season". Commissioners and Governors Cup are still in question depends on what will be the status of the pandemic here in the country.

Coach yeng really love to play with guys who really work hard, especially with Soyud, he has really improve as far as I can see.

Jericho Cruz is such a big factor for the success of the team, they can't just rely on Kiefer Ravena, though he is really good but he can't carry his team. What I admire about coach Yeng's coaching is even their big man are taught how to shot 3's and that's really effective.

If I remembered it right before the last few games that they'll have inside the bubble,
not sure if it's coach Yeng or one of his player who said that they are just enjoying it so they'll start winning.

Though that winning streak is not enough to avail moving to the playoff but the experienced and the brotherhood has made, this incoming season will serve as another test for them.

Winning the title might be tough but it's always possible if the team are all  determine in winning.
They'll not be in the league if they are not deserving, it's just the blending and the dedications that
needs to adjust from one another.

Thanks for that clarification. I was confused about that and I thought that it's just another conference since it's really another conference that we're seeing.

When NLEX had a losing streak in the bubble (which is 3 or 4 games i think) coach Yeng told his boys to not pressure themselves as coach Yeng already knew that that they are already in the brink of elimination and he understand that because they only have a few days of practicing together due to the pandemic.

Talented players are nothing if they aren't intimidated and have respect for their coach.

Rain or shine is a good team under his coaching, Paul Lee was the one leading the team and they were really successful. I don't how many years he is coaching the NLEX but this team IMO needs to improve more for them to become a championship contender.

Coach Yeng is not getting any younger anymore. he is already 61 years old, soon he will retire so it's a good accomplishment to bring his team to the Finals before he retires, and maybe they can snatch a win, who knows.

We all remember it because we were consistently watching PBA games, yes, and that was really good of him telling his men to let loose so they can enjoy and suddenly they start winning. Maybe this is what they need, don't pressure themselves and contribute in any way, they should consider themselves as brother to each other as the recipe for success is always team work.

VIC Manuel, a lateblooming forward from a small school who rose to become one of the premier big men in the PBA, feels his stay with Alaska is at an end.

On Friday, Manuel said he has asked his agent, Danny Espiritu, to explore all possible options after his contract with the Aces expired at the end of the year.

No more veterans left in Alaska, their main man is leaving and looking for an opportunity to play with other team. What team do you think will sign him, does he fit with the TNT or Magnolia?

Now, this is not good on Alaska. Vic Manuel is their main man at the moment and you are right, he is not getting younger so they should not taken him for granted and they should communicate to him from time to time on what's his plan on the future.

I hope that this would be ironed out as coach Cariaso is meeting with the Muscle Man, just hate it to see a franchise caliber player go to SMC or MVP teams.

TNT already have a lot of players that are paid well, I think Meralco is the team that would fit for Manuel. I agree teaming up with Abueva, they've got  a good chemistry it won't be hard for them to play together, considering the Fuel Master
if ever the team shows interest with him.

This under size big men knows how to adjust it won't be hard for him to fit with Abueva and the rest of the Fuel master's squad.

give him a token of appreciations by providing a good contract that both ends will benefits.

As we know in PBA, there's always politics and that's why he only wants to secure himself to a team that will give him a longer contract. He's right with the decision if ever there's another team that will give him a max contract of around 3-5 years or more, he'll get into that contract.
1 year is just a quick time and he can't determine his career with that term.
