NLEX is good but they lack defense, that's what I observed since coach Yeng took over the coaching.

We all see that, that's why they will never win in the playoffs due to their lack of defense, also, most of their game are high scoring, that only tells that they are not focus on defense, rather than in offense, in fact, even big man is shooting 3's that's the design of play made by coach Yeng.

Well, since they are talking of a big man, maybe they already know their weakness and they are desperate to have a good one.

I also observe that, since they are now talking about big man  it's shows that they are working into something that would help the team.

It would be very nice gesture to show some interest in seeking for big players that would really help them to give good defense as they already have offensive players who can take care of this area.

I also see that if they can acquire Greg the chance of tighting the interior will help them to improve.

The rotations of good and outstanding players are for those teams / franchise who can spend more money and there's no brainer who are them rigth?

The more money you have, the more chances of you getting a better player . That is how PBA works right now.
The competition of the league has been gone because of... you know what I mean too . These independent teams didn't have the opportunity to at least compete with this other teams because they are being used as a milking farm of this big companies or I should say other teams. They got a good player, they will get it and it goes on and on.

Big man is important in basketball and it seems like they are lacking a reliable one right now. Maybe they are trying what Rockets did in NBA 2 years ago . Well anyway I just hope that they can manage to get a big player before the conference starts or at least they can adjust into it.

The 29-year-old Romeo has enjoyed the best times of his career at San Miguel after arriving in a trade with TnT, winning his first Finals MVP award when the Beermen beat the Tropang GIGA in the 2019 PBA Commissioner's Cup Finals.

Ang said Romeo's performance on the court and behavior off it was the exact opposite of what most fans expected, especially with the stories about the former Far Eastern University sta he was hearing prior to his move to the Beermen.

“Sabi nila, very, very hard to handle,” Ang told Summit Media editors and reporters during a Sandwich Session on Friday. “Baliktad. Ang bait naman nun. Sobrang bait nun. Tsaka naiintindihan ko ‘yung kanyang hilig.”

That's coming from the big boss, Romeo should be so proud of this and it could mean that he could retire with the SMB if he will continue what he has been doing. He is underrated as a player, but this guy is really good even in international competition.

He went to Global Port (now North Port) but the team can't handle him. He went to TNT and looks like it is the same.
Now he went to SMB and now he found his new home.

In his 2 teams, he is a legit scorer especially in his first years in Global Port where he averages more than 20 PPG but when he went to SMB everything has changed and that includes his role and at the same time his attitude. There is no better thing than to change the attitude of the player. Acquiring Romeo from the TNT is a big accomplishment to the team and we already saw his impact in his games and he also got an Finals MVP .

I said it again and will say it again. When the superstars of SMB will retire Romeo, Perez and Fajardo will be the faces of the team . If they will add another superstar then better.

I said it again and will say it again. When the superstars of SMB will retire Romeo, Perez and Fajardo will be the faces of the team . If they will add another superstar then better.

By the time Fajardo and Romeo will retire for sure there are other star will rise and also Romeo will be out of his prime since he will be rusty due to age. SMB will surely find new faces since PBA is business and they will find a good star which have good fan base to accumulate more sales.

We know how SMB do in terms of trading and drafting so expect that they will acquire some new big star in future.

I don't feel sad at all, he is not anymore in his prime and he is having some injury problem, and in fact, at his age of 39 years old, I think that is already a retirement age for most PBA players. Well, I hope he will have a prosperous life after PBA, that's all I wish for one of my Idols in the PBA.

I'm just happy that there a moment that we have a Pinoy Sakuragi in the PBA and he once a household name in Philippine basketball, Marc Pingris.

For me, the biggest and unforgettable memory watching Pingris was the time when helped Gilas finally defeated Korea in the FIBA Asia qualifier. Pingris played all heart despite having some pain in the injury he sustain that game.

All good thing comes to an end, so i'll just say thank you Marc Pingris for all the good times you brought to the PBA and to the Philippine basketball as well.

Pingris is saying it already that if he will be given another contract then he will play but I think that isn't the case now. Well, for sure he might be return as one of the management team of Magnolia in the future maybe .

We already saw 6 players who retired for good and this just shows that the future is bright for the league. We already one of the best if not the best rookie players this year and most of them are very promising thus, they are needed by different teams. They need to give slots to these young and talented players to showcase their abilities to the largest league in our country.

Pingris says, "Ibigay na lang natin sa bata'". 

He can still make money as Magnolia will surely give him a new contract even for a 1-year veteran deal. He can be a bench warmer lol. But yes, I agree that he might be part of the Magnolia coaching staff if he wants to.

He maybe accepts the fact now that his body is not cooperating now due to his serious injuries before, ACL in 2018, and right calf injury in 2020.
