From a boring performance in Game 1, Meralco bounces back in Game 2. But still, the overall game wasn't an intense game. Never seen an effort on Ginebra to make a rally after Meralco draining consecutive shots. Hmm..

What that "Hmm" means? lol... did you see some rigging kind of games happened in that game?

And what a win by Phoenix. They blew their large lead but good thing they able to play under pressure and focus until the buzzer sound. TNT did a good rally on narrowing down the lead and even able to take the lead. Phoenix will surely be criticized if they lose that game after having the lead for long. Even without Wright, others stepped up just what they did on Game 1. Expecting a close game again with these 2 teams on Game 3.

Thanks to Ray Parks, he was out in the game for 6 personal fouls and that's where the Phoenix started to control the game. I have a feeling that this series will reach in game 5, and hopefully we will see a healthy Wright in the succeeding games.

Not that mate. Just noticed that BGSM become less aggressive even there is much time left to make a rally.

Look, Ginebra holds the lead as large as 10 points the whole time and able to maintain it until Meralco makes a rally on the 3rd. It's just that in the last minutes of 3rd wherein Meralco takes the lead and they start the 4th with a 4 point lead.

And that's the start, Meralco now draining consecutive shots. They able to take a 10 point lead and Cone makes a timeout. After that timeout, Japeth was now seen on the bench and never gets back. And slowly, the main lineup was sent to the bench one by one. It's just a 10 point lead and with plenty of time left, around 5 minutes, Cone decided right away to break their main lineup and let the bench do the work.

Hahaha in my opinion, it was a clear loss. Even though I'm a solid kabaranggay, I believe that there's no under the table negotiations happened. It's just a bad night for them and Meralco did a great job, that's it.

Hahaha in my opinion, it was a clear loss. Even though I'm a solid kabaranggay, I believe that there's no under the table negotiations happened. It's just a bad night for them and Meralco did a great job, that's it.

Fair enough, okay, I will think that there's no rigging going on in that game and I'm expect for the Ginebra to bounce back.

Abueva is just on a different level, he can influence his team with his all around style of play, he can compete with the center and can also attract defense from the opponent, what I'm seeing now is a different Phoenix team, they have the patience and I would also like to credit that to their new coach.

What a game for both Wright and Abueva, lifting the team when it needed the most. I have said that Phoenix is good even without Wright but they are a scary team when they have a healthy Wright.

Lucky for me, defense picked up in the final quarter and they have a low scoring ball game  .

Noticed the early give up too, but I've watched games like that in PBA and NBA, I don't know what the coach is thinking but maybe some coach do early give up to prioritize giving their main players a rest for the next game, maybe the coach already know that if he continue to use the main players, they will be exhausted next game without the certainty that they will win, an opposite to their never give up attitude but who know what the coaching staff is thinking, maybe they'll come back well rested at least, especially now that they are inside the bubble.

Big win by Phoenix Fuel Masters again, 89-92, 3 points win only but it was the Phoenix Fuel Masters who are leading most of the time in the entire game.

Congrats to Matthew Wright also, he was the best player of the game, though he is not 100% yet but he was able to make a turn around shot to give the team a good lead. Also, Abueva was still very consistent, I thought he will be the best player, but it doesn't matter anyway as long as they do their job very well.

As far as I remember Abueva was short by 1 point (he got 23 points compare to Wright's 24). That's why. And besides, he made the winning shot so yeah it was unquestionable that he deserve to be the best player of the game. But still props to Abueva, his energy is definitely an important key for their success .

You should if you still want to enjoy the action, the next game could be the last game for Meralco and TNT in the series, so better not miss that. If they believe the game is "LUTO", who knows, next game it will favor the Meralco Bolts to win, it's just easy for the refs to manipulate the game, put the star players in foul trouble so other team can take advantage.

Like what happen with the Perkins, he was in foul trouble in the game last night but Phoenix able to handle it, in game 1 also it was Calvin who was in foul trouble, so sometimes refs would not succeed too with their dark plan.

That' really close after Newsome hits the last 3 point but Bolts did not attempt that much to try stealing the ball, BGSM dictates the game
in the first period making it hard for bolts to comes up and try to snatch, even they''ve shown a good response coming the 2nd half but
that lead from the first 2 quarters is well enough to keep the win for the BGSM.

Game 4 if there's no adjustments it will be an easy final trip for the Gin kings, again Meralco needs to find ways to counter every run that BGSM have, it's the only way to keep them close and got the higher chance to win in the last minutes of the game.
