I'm an underdog bettor but for that game i chose Magnolia -6.5 because i thought they will easily demolished Phoenix if ever Calvin will not play but it seems Magnolia is not the same team that's hard to beat like the 2019 AFC. In the beginning i'm rooting for them to win the trophy but seeing how they have a hard time against a low-ranked team, i don't think they will reach the Finals.

Magnolia has changed, a good team that now easily blew a big lead, blame it to the pandemic, they might get tired in the last quarter so they allow the Phoenix to come back and beat them, they are in danger now and those who are in the bottom will be eliminated, and with that straight loss will put them in a tough situation.

They are now 1-4, fortunately for them, they are not the only team who are struggling in the bubble.

I don't understand why coach Cariaso did not play Ebona in the remaining minutes of the game, the kid is very aggressive and can produce points in the paint, they settle with Manuel and Abu Tratter which good on defense only, they become so predictable as Manuel is their focal point of attack and also JVee Casio's costly turnover made them loss in the game, great defense by Chris Ross, as always.
