Does anyone have an idea of what will be the set up this season? Still a bubble on a single venue or what?

I forgot that the article that I've read about the setup is going to be the same as the bubble again. Although there is a vaccine already, it's limited to be in the public or maybe that the PBA management have already bought their own secretly but I doubt that can happen.
The only option is still in a bubble until everyone and the public can avail to have the vaccine.

Things have changed a lot already, vaccine area available and this is not only for the public, I'm sure the PBA can afford to get their players vaccinated so they will not worry anymore of a possible pause of the season, there are plenty of vaccines coming and some are delivered already, if an ordinary individual will be given, I guess these pba players will get theirs as well.

I can't remember but that was months ago if I remember correctly. The vaccine that has come to us isn't open for the public, the vaccine that shall be open to the public is estimated going to arrive by May and the start of the season is by next month. I don't think that they'll be able to do that. And the ones that ordered the vaccines that are set to arrive are for the government front liners and essential workers, athletes I think, they're not on the priority list unless they'll be given doses for the teams and staff. Just as the issue today, there are choosy people that won't go with the sinovac but, astrazeneca is about to come.

I'm also curious about this article as if PBA will proceed with the same setup with the last bubble, the business again will be at loss. though there's no other option. If there's no available vaccine for everyone mass gathering like watching games inside coliseum most probably won't happen, The virus still active and for sure the government will not allow any participations of audiences from any live games.

Going to wait for any final updates reagrding to this upcoming season, for sure the management will provide detailed information before the league will proceed.

The season will commence on April 9, 2021, this is just one month + from today. We will surely get more updates as the start is approaching and hopefully not the same bubble as bubble is boring and does not give players a chance to visit their family, which they will be less motivated and less inspired to play.

Just around 1 month and a few days before the season starts. We only have to wait until the PBA announces if the setup will be the same bubble again.
But as guessed by most, it would probably be in a bubble as if it's not, they'll have to conduct anti gen test everytime a match comes. And that would be costly for the management because a lot of staff have to go through with testing and it will be shouldered by the league and the same as the teams and their staff.

This is a great news, I'm happy for this, as long as Kelly is on the floor, I can feel the energy of the TNT. He is a veteran, although not as good as he was before defensively but I agree that he can still contribute to the team.

This is a great news, I'm happy for this, as long as Kelly is on the floor, I can feel the energy of the TNT. He is a veteran, although not as good as he was before defensively but I agree that he can still contribute to the team.

Back when he still with Sta.Lucia he's really dominating in every space that's been provided to him, he can shoot outside and kill you inside with so much power.

Moving to TnT, he bring that energy and like what you have said, he and castro have a good chemistry as castro trust him a  lot.

Can't say but to agree with your last statement, TnT is not the same for the past seasons but knowing now that Coach Chot is there
to lead them again, there are lots to expect with their performace.

Also maybe the reason why Kelly signed for another 2 years as coach Chot knows him enough to help their rally.

One of my childhood favorite players. A very flexible and strong guy. He's very athletic and I'm happy that he's not yet retiring and TNT still got his back.

His return is just a confirmation that he had a conflict with some of the members of the previous coaching staff or conflict with the head coach himself.

He left the bubble then announced that he already retire from basketball without even notifying the management about his decision  .

(UPDATED) This first shipment from the COVAX Facility, together with the earlier Sinovac doses, gives the country the ability to vaccinate over 540,000 individuals


Close to 500,000 doses of the vaccine developed by AstraZeneca and Oxford University arrived in the Philippines aboard a KLM Royal Dutch Airlines commercial plane on Thursday night, March 4.

The shipment arrived around 7:20 pm at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) in Metro Manila.

We have different sources, not only a vaccine from China, so there's a big possibility that the PBA will allow audience when they commence.

Yeah, I agree with that, maybe coach chot talk to him as he is comfortable with the coaching style of coach Chot and he is now willing to play again. Under coach Chot he will get good minutes, and even if they have Erram already, I know he can still help to the team.

This is also a comeback of coach Chot in the PBA, so TNT should be an improved team this season.

Turns out the rumor is true, and welcome to the Ginebra San Miguel C Stand.. I guess they now win another championship, happy for him to finally land in a good team. Maybe he wasn't playing well in the bubble so NP will decide to trade him. lol.

We don't have news yet regarding the status of Fajardo, and even if he will come back healthy this season, I still don't expect that he will be 100% back.

It's added the chance though inside the hearts of most fans they are always the favorite by more PBA fans.

Me as well, adding C.Stand with the current squad, we seen more upgraded and more complete lineup with Tim as head coach, simply watching a National team type playing inside PBA.

We don't have news yet regarding the status of Fajardo, and even if he will come back healthy this season, I still don't expect that he will be 100% back.

He's aging and with those injuries, it will be hard for him to force everything.

I read some rumors in the past that there are already private people who got vaccine prior to the news that vaccines will be arriving or has arrived in the Philippines, so Maybe it's possible to get vaccine anytime soon. And even if there are delays, I'm pretty sure PBA teams will get a vaccine soon and we will see a crowd although measures are still in place.

They were getting in the Finals even prior to this trade, they won the PBA Finals last season so no double about how good Ginebra is and they are even better now with the acquisition of C stand.

He truly deserved this award, I don't know what kind of award coach Tim has not achieve yet.
If he will retire, he will be remembered as one of the best coach in the PBA or probably the best since he was the best in our generation.

This trade is probably the biggest news so far.

They really waited for Slaughter to come back just to trade him, I think Slaughter is not anymore surprise with this as just like what the rumors said, this is the reason why he left the BGSM in the past and now maybe have realized that he has no future outside the Philippines, come back and accept his destiny. It's gonna be the first time I will see Slaughter will be playing with other team, I hope he will become an asset more than when he was still with the Ginebra.

Chito Victolero might have a chance to win as they have Calvin Abueva already but the Ginebra San Miguel is too scary as they have C. Stand already who can average a double double in any game. Japeth would not be pressure, he does not have to play a longer minutes and that will make Ginebra a team to beat if they will build a good chemistry with C. Stand.

This trade is probably the biggest news so far.

3. C. Stand traded to Ginebra.

Ray Parks announced that he will not play in the upcoming season.

“It is with a heavy heart that I will have to excuse myself and not partake in this year’s PBA season due to personal reasons which in particular, my family,” wrote Parks.

I think with his absence, TNT will have a better ball movement and Poguy will get more touch especially in the 3 point shooting.
