Just the way I expected, it seems like Stanley Pringle will win the best player of the conference, his been a big factor of the team, a go to guy that is reliable, that's why I want to see him win the best player in the bubble, I think it's his first time to win in all Filipino cup as the best player of the conference.

Good for him, all the nominees for the best player of the conference are lucky not to have Fajardo in the all Filipino Cup, but once Fajardo comes back, and he is still the same player, he will again dominate and will the best player awards, especially in the All Filipino Cup.

I like to agree with this. He will again dominate once he comes back but his team (SMB) needs reshuffling for the upcoming season therefor his performance might get affected as well and worst case is he will not be as dominate as he was because of his past injury. The starting 5 age average of SMB is around 30+ years and they are going older and older. I'm an SMB fan but the team needs to get some young players from different teams for their future too.

The age is one of the big factor but let's see for one conference that they will play with a complete line up, I hope they won't depreciate. The thing is, their life is easy with Fajardo as he always dominate the rebounding department so shooters from SMB can shoot 3 points with high confidence, and the ball movement is just simple, inside out and vice versa until they can find an open man.

I don't agree with that, this is the first time that I saw the SMB struggles, and that is not because of the age but because they don't have Fajardo, they missed their star player so they struggled. Have you remembered last 2016 when they are in the Finals and they were down 1-3? That was because Fajardo was injured but when he came back, they have a big run and win the championship.

I can't read the exact rules by the IATF regarding this but I believe they are already allowed to travel by following the protocol, so i guess we will see some updates soon regarding the next conference.

The only team I saw that has improved was the Phoenix, and that is because of Calvin Abueva and the new coach maybe, TNT is already a usual customer in the q-finals, s-finals, and the Finals.

All-Filipino Conference is the starting conference every year so no need to think about those imports for now. It was a yearly reset. That's why Yeng Guaio considered Ginebra a GrandSlam (winning all 3 conference titles a season) this year after winning the championship.

I think it will be the same setup with all-Filipino, since there are still places in the Philippines where there are still covid, the only downside of this is that is the PBA willing to continue the same format, or maybe they will be allowed to travel but with strict protocol and less audience will be implemented, covid really changes everything especially contact sports.

Kidding aside, if only Castro and Parks were not injured, that series could be more interesting and it might went to a do or die game 7. And besides, SMB should just maintain to be in playoffs contention so that JuneMar is not forced to play at his best. Reserving his energy to the playoffs instead.

I'm also shipping for LA to be the finals MVP but still that's not for us to decide. But if he does, then that will make us proud who shipped for him to receive the title for this PBAs first bubble conference.

It's been announced that he was the Finals MVP and its his first win in the all Filipino Cup.
At 36 years old, still playing at its best, we can still expect more from him and him being the PG of the Ginebra Gins is making the team better.

I agree. Having a big guy like Junemar inside the perimeter will still make him able to do. As long as he's inside/under the ring, he can consistently contribute through defense.

We've seen him many times and still he is a beast inside. Actually it's not the first time that he was injured but he was still able to come back, with his height, he can use that to intimidate those who like to drive inside and even grab easy rebounds, that's why people believe in him.

His humbleness also makes him a better player and a better person, he follows his coaches without complains so I'm confident he will be back, maybe the injury would affect him in the beginning but in the long run we will be able to see the same JMF.

First of all, obviously teams are preparing for any opponent, not just SMB. The goal is to win championship whoever the dominant team.

Second, they have so far the best lineup in the league during the past conferences. And he even said that, some of his players aren't 100% ready in the bubble.

The next conference will start in April, ETA.

JuneMar needs at least a whole season or 12 months to recover as per his Doctor. It will be in February next year for the whole year.

We have seen him doing shooting practice last October so we can assume that on that 12 months period, it includes soft physical workouts. And with 4 1/2 months before the conference start, JuneMar will be physically fit to play in that season. Terrence Romeo's injust needs 6 to 8 weeks so by April, he is now again ready to play and will make SMB a team to beat again.
