There is one win for them to be in the top 2 spot. The chances of it to happen is very low but it can still happen. If Ginebra will win their remaining 4 games, they will get the top spot even though the Bay Area Dragons win their final game against the TNT. It's because Ginebra won against them, and I guess that's the rule, right?

No one can stop Powell and that's a fact. His lowest score is 32 points against Converge and Magnolia. That's how dominating he is in the PBA and it's a good choice for the Dragons to pick them over Nicholson because with him, they have a point guard that can initiate some plays but at the same time, they have a scoring guard that can score more than 30+ points in every single game. Nicholson is big and a scorer as well but Powell's contribution to the team is way better than him and we've seen it in their performance every game. No one can stop this beast even in the playoffs. Every team in the playoffs will be having a hard time defeating this team.

Powell is more relaxed than any other import that Abueva plays with. Maybe the scout knew already that Abueva will try, but we continue to see the productions of Powell. It was a great and entertaining game between these two great teams; we see that Mags really has the capabilities to compete, though they lose the game, but it's not a kind of game Bay area always have, Mags gives them the shake and almost snatches it from them.

Another great game for the fans, nothing to say, but Mags really gave the Dragons the tough game today, not sure what's the handicap is for this game, but it's only 6 points for the Dragon to secure the win.

Although a win is a win, SMB is supposedly have a upper hand against the Phoenix FuelMasters even JuneMar Fajardo is not around. SMB is really noticeably struggling this conference and I think that was because of inconsistent import and Coach Leo Austria's not changing tactics.

Next game against Terrafirma, they should win no matter what. Terrafirma now finally breaks the losing curse and might still enjoying their recent win that's why maybe they will try to do it again against SMB. If SMB will be upset here, they will be put in a tight spot as their remaining games will be a big challenge as they will face TNT and Meralco respectively.

Though I am a fan of Barangay Ginebra, I think TNT needs the win here more than Ginebra. TNT needs all the wins they can get since they are currently still out of the top 8 and tied with San Miguel and Meralco. They will be in a better position if they will beat Ginebra in this game. So, I know that they will give it all to win this one.

Import-less TNT plus an early injured Castro, but Poguy still there to compete it was just a bad mistake with his judgement with that two important plays that might send them to OT or maybe a possible snatch, it's just so happen that the pass is not that good both when he tried to pass it with Erram and that last chance in bounding the ball but Williams with an early cramp might be so exhausted.

I agree because after all, Coach Ayo has been a coach for Collegiate level basketball competition, so he knows when to let his trump cards play and when not to.

Converge really played well in their first 2 seasons. They clinched the playoffs on their first season and it's a good achievement already though they lost at the first round and now on their 2nd season, they are on the top (currently 4th) which is a good achievement. The bad thing that I'm thinking though is Converge is an independent team and we've seen how SMC and MVP are milking independent teams. I just hope that Converge will not make unbalanced trades to these 2 big teams like what other teams are doing. I see a good future with the team with their current roster (maybe a bit of trades might help the team) and their current head coach.

I agree because after all, Coach Ayo has been a coach for Collegiate level basketball competition, so he knows when to let his trump cards play and when not to.

They need to keep the team or if possible to get more athletic players, though I understand your point, but the team is already competitive. The coaching system brings the talents to show their individual skills. They are more confident now compared with the last season and, knowing coach Ayo, he really loves seeing his players to come up and compete. He will continue to develop them and will guide those young stars to be more competitive.

Though this season the big factor is their import but with the experienced they are gaining and the familiarities with each other, they will continue to chase that title.

My bad, I didn't bother to look at who's playing as I'm only monitoring the score via sportsbook. I could have bet the other way around if I knew that Miller didn't play in that game because on the bookies, they are the favorite to win but without an import, most likely they will lose and that's what happened.

Speaking of Miller who didn't play, i have read on my social media feed that the reason why coach Ayo didn't bother to field-in Miller because it is some sort of a punishment for him for not attending practice because he overslept due to the celebration of Miller's 30th birthday. Have coach Ayo fielded Miller, their winning streak could have not been broken yet but i think it was still a good decision to show the whole team that if anyone is messing around, they will be punished.
