Although comparing the overall player ratings between the Dragons and ROS, the distance is really that gap in favor of the Dragons. ROS doesn't really stand a chance against them but it's a good experience for them to face such a monster team in the quarterfinals.

 Not much of an experience though since it is only 1 game. I believe they are already eliminated since the Dragons have a twice-to-beat advantage.

They had already faced before the elimination, and the outcome was still the same. In short, they have not learned from their experience, or maybe the Dragons are just too good for the ROS, this team have to evaluate their roster and make a huge improvement next season.

They don't have the talent to match with the visiting team, the same outcome from the last game that they've got during elimination. RoS can't stand the heavy dominance of Bay Area, I'm excited now since SMB is one game away to move forward and they will be facing the visiting team, with Fajardo and Romeo and the rest of talents of SMB for sure it won't be a blowout for the visiting team.

They are against the defending champ and knowing how the team plays together, they are classified as a powerhouse team in this league.

Though before they can move forward, SMB still needs another win against the young but impressive Converge, unpredictable but the bookies give SMB as heavy favorite here.

That's going to be an exciting match up, with Fajardo slowly going back to his normal form, I think it will not be easy for the visiting team to beat the SMB team. Plus, if they will survive against SMB, for sure they will face the Ginebra Gin Kings, the team that beat them with a huge margin.

So both of us are excited, me for SMB in the semis and you, forgetting that Mags are also a good competitor with the way they are playing together, though against Brgy the huge advantage of the crowd the manila classico semi-finals in the making, something that fans will really enjoy. Less than 3 mins and the game is almost done between NP and the BRGY, still have a good lead for Brgy 9 points but anything can happen until we don't hear the last buzzer.

PBA is a small league for them that is why i doubt that they will offer betting odds early like the "outrights" odds in the NBA so for us to bet on the series we have to bet against amongst us just like the old times hehe.

The team to beat is the Bay Area as being mentioned from the post above that the 3 teams who made into the finals are all SMC franchise, I go with you for sure, as I'm very vocal with how I support SMB if they will beat the Bay area/visiting team for sure the chance of winning the finals and defend their title is possible,.

We will all witness what preparations all four teams have since the semis will begin on Dec 14, enough rest for everyone.

Expect they will use that time to prepare and create plays to execute on their respective matches.

The game is too early and there's no live streaming for the game 1, so I'll sure miss that game.

Still no available odds for these two semi-final games, my personal take both Bay Area and Ginebra will get the bookies favorite, with the first game, it might Bay area with 1.30 and SMB may get 2.5-3.00 odd, while with Mags and Gin kings I can say that it will be a close one 1.7 for gin kings and 2.10 for Mags.

Just an opinion though, we don't have it yet and we needed to wait a day before or earlier before the game start.

Hey there mate, i think that kind of tournament is no longer applicable at this stage of the conference as the games to predict is too few/limited that it might bring confusion because most of the scores of the participants might be tied.

@harizen have posted above which i think more applicable way if we want to bet on the semi's series.

There is another option to make this series betting more enticing to those who love to bet on the underdogs.
How about if we put a cap on each series, let say 5k for each and winner take all or divide the winnings if there are multiple winners, just like what we did last time.

I believe we have a lot of gamblers in the forum who loves Philippines Basketball particularly PBA, that's why I'm bringing this outside the local.

Let's discuss the current events, news, and the games here. You may also share you bets here if you want to help fellow gamblers to win or ask some opinion from our fellow gamblers here.

The PBA has a short conference only but they also have short break, so if we are betting often in this games, we can easily familiarize the teams since there are only few teams compared to the NBA.

Hopefully we can make a good and helpful discussion in this thread.

This PBA as far as I know is also able to provide help to other people in the Philippines in terms of financial or source of income at least to our fellow Filipinos, such as 'Ending' where the bettor will look for bettors that they will predict what number will appear in the last game of the two teams. And when it hits, the bettor looking for the ending will be rewarded. A gambling method that even with a small amount can win thousands and immediately take the prize because it will be delivered directly to the bettor.

Until now, as far as I know, it is still being implemented every time there is a governor's cup in the PBA and other conference games here. And a lot of people are obsessed with the truth.

Powell might be surely out on Game 1 according to some recent reports.

For the next games, his availability is still in question.
