Can the SMB be able to come back in the 4th quarter?

This is the opposite of what happened in game 1, it's now the Bay Area Dragons who are dictating the game, so let's see if SMB will be able to turn things around in the last quarter of the game. It's a must-win for them as they can't go down 2-0 as that would look like they'll be eliminated early or even be swept.

unfortunately, they weren't able to come back. I wasn't expecting the result of this game, I thought it was a close game and SMB will try to even the series, but look at what happened? once again Bay Area Dragons showed their dominance on PBA teams, and that's SMB, one of the best teams in the PBA.

I think it's not necessary for Powell to come back as Nicholson is very well fitted to the team.

114-95, it's a big win by Bay Dragons, and they have Nicholson who scored 34 while SMB's import only made 14 points from 6/15 shooting.

I was not able to watch the game, but I think that was a big upset from how the game went from the first game. I think the coach of the Bay Area is very competent and he was able to adjust very quickly against the Beermen.

Now, the Beermen needs to make a big adjustment next game, or they will go home early this conference. I trust they will be able to make it next game, so I am betting on them this time.

In game 1 the odds for Ginebra and Magnolia is almost even, game2 the Kings were the slight underdog and with them losing game 2 I think the odds in game 3 will be attractive if you are backing Ginebra.

I think the odds will just be very close or almost the same because the game was a close game. If it was like the SMB vs Dragons that the Dragons have a dominant game against the beermen, I think the odds would be attractive for Ginebra. But it was not. So the odds I think will be almost the same for Ginebra and Magnolia. But we will see tomorrow how the bookies will look at it. Hopefully you are right so we can take advantage of it.

Dragon might sweep SMB or maybe SMB may comeback and try to force the series to another game.

I do think that the Beermen can force and extend another series on Sunday but to expect them to win the series is something really tough.

SMB shows their real strength in Game 1 but still, they lose, and with that, the Dragons realized what needs to be done in Game 2. They were able to limit the offense of those SMB sharpshooters and just try to keep it that way the whole game.

It would be a good achievement and big recognition to the entire PBA community if SMB will still be able to pass the Dragons here in Semis.

The visiting team quickly learned how to limit the productions of Beermen's offensive players, aside from Fajardo who really trying everything but without the help he can't single carry the opponents who have almost same of his height. Speed and height are in favor of the visiting team, plus the fact that import matchup is by far, Nicholson is a legit 2-way player, while SMB's import is not someone the team can lean, especially in those important game times.

The chance of twisting the fate is really tough, I can say they can, if they are facing an ordinary team from this league but they are not.

The visiting team is composed of well-picked talents, hard fought but if SMB will lose, I can personally say that they bring everything and I will continue supporting them..

No, Ginebra is the underdog in game 3, but a slight underdog only so it's not a big deal. The good thing about the odds is that as a Ginebra fan, we will not have a hard time deciding because the odds are very attractive. Anything can happen, even if Magnolia will win game 3, the series is still not over as Ginebra could win the next two games to win the series.

I'll prefer to bet ginebra in the next game tomorrow and for sure they will win. And about the odds maybe ginbera will be the favorite here. I have this thing in my mind where I'm thinking that they don't want to lose to the Dragons in a clean sweep. They will try and win at least one game before bowing down to them.

I expect this series to be finished in 5 games, but it seems like the Dragons really want to demolish one of the strongest teams right now in the league. If I bet, I will try to bet on SMB in Money Line and it's an attractive odd TBH. Anyway, some might think that they will sweep them but for me, I predict that they will win in Game 3 before getting defeated in Game 4. I'll put a bet as well on the SMB but not too much because their chance of losing is quite high.

It's clear that you are not watching the current semis regularly. If you watched the whole series from the beginning, it's always a close game.

If you will judge the game with just 1 situation you have mentioned, then don't bother to watch the series anymore. Only you have that feedback here and those regular posters here don't have an observation like that compared to you, mate.

Missed calls happened and blame the officiating for that, not the players. For flops, it also happened but that's not always the case.

Magnolia on the other hand manage to tied the series, this is more exciting who will take the lead. Anyway, where’s that local bet? Looks interesting but quiet high for a minimum bet.

June Mar is their main man, so they are dependent on June Mar. What I want to see is the outside shooters and the guards stepping up their game to match the shooting prowess of the Bay Area Dragons. If they can step up. it is not yet over albeit what most here are telling.

That's the reality that SMB is facing now. We can't just say it will be the same scenario when Alaska before put them in a 3-1 lead but they were able to bounce back. The Bay Area Dragons are obviously different from that Alaska team.

Regardless, I believed that SMB won't surely allow being swept by a foreign team.

Sorry to say that their import is really not that tough even in eliminations. In Game 2, it's only JuneMar Fajardo who prevents being overpowered by the Dragons' defense even with how hard they defended him, unlike those SMB shooters that didn't find a way to get back on track, especially their import.

Tough to bet on Manila Clasico tonight between Ginebra and Magnolia since watching their previous games, that was close and unpredictable until the end.

But odds-wise as a bettor, it's good and worthy to put some bucks on Ginebra.

I also don't believe that Ginebra will lose twice in a row that's why will risk on them tonight.

I think SMB is not dependent on Junemar, its just that he was only the clicking that night both on offense and defense. The Dragons won't be the favorite for nothing, i mean their local has the height advantage over the locals of the Beermen and their import also is a little above the talent level of SMB's import as well, just a team effort for them to win this tough series.

About the local betting, it is closed for now and might resume on the Finals, it would be an interesting matchup whichever team will face the Dragons (no offense to SMB fans hehe).
