African nations games are some of the most difficult to predict. Reason being that, almost all the teams are on a level platform and it's rear to see matches with an over 3.5 scoreline  nor would you see a particular team with lots of goal difference.  One interesting game for me in today's match day live was Egypt 1-0 Senegal. Both teams gave it there best and Egypt managed to win by a goal that came of Saliou Ciss in an own goal.
It's always something spectacular to watch 2 team mates in Muhammed Salah and Sadio Mane battle themselves in representation of there nations. Nice game anyway, Senegal played quite well but, Egypt had to win.

Africa games are not difficult to predict all the games is the same thing but the problem is that some of the players lack's attention for playing for their nation that makes their games unbalanced, game is game, use dint have to predict it rightfully always

At the end of the first legs for the World Cup qualifies ;
Ghana and Nigeria ended with no goals in the game.
Egyptians had a magical goal in the first half (own goal ) against current African Champions Senegal.
Algeria won over Cameroon  Slimani, and a single goal in the game between Mali and Tunisia.

All games ended and we saw them playing under two goals.

Very true, it's been a really long time i saw a team win another by a huge goal difference in african football. As much as Egypt will do well in the world cup, i think senegal who were just winners of the AFCON can do well relatively. The game between Egypt and Senegal is far from over, Egypt won but did not score a goal themselves, not very convincing, and this proves that they return leg will still be a battle for qualification.

Not as expected really by many including myself, Maybe we just overhyped the super eagles, because there was nothing super about their performance. We have many quality players in our team, and the challenge now is with our coach Austin Eguavon to be able to manage and get these players to play together as a team. Nigeria needs to get it right in the second leg, we will have the hole advantage and will have to take our chances, it will be a huge disappointment if Nigeria doesn't qualify.

Nigerian did not play anything good because the ball possession indicates that Nigeria did play well, Ghana oppressed Nigeria from the beginning to end of the match and their was no breathing space for Nigeria team, let us wait and watch the returning match, definitely if Nigeria use this method Ghana will win them.

What matters at the end of a match is who won and not who had the ball possession and oppressed. The match ended goalless and it is a share of the spoil. My fear is over because am sure the Super Eagles will defeat the Black Stars in the return leg in Nigeria. Nigeria shows more confidence playing at home than playing away. I give the next match completely to Nigeria.

I'm not surprised that the game would be like this .I know it will be so tough between the two teams that they would struggle to score the highest goal. Egypt tried their best to win the match not allowing Senegal to defeat them the second time, the game was tough and very Interesting,  many were waiting to see the end of the game who the winner will be. Senegal performance was not bad but they were not lucky this time in the game.

Ive predicted the match between Ghana and Nigeria to be a draw.  Nigeria did not really coordinate their play. Nigeria did not play to their potential. To get a draw with our below expectations performance is a good result. Frankly speaking Ghana were the better side. I'm not  actually pleased with the way Nigeria played though maybe it's their game plan. The midfield was not it at all, the coaches has a lot to do tactically if we must get the world cup ticket. Nigeria is very fortunate to have come out with a draw. Ghana were better and played more physical football than Nigeria. There's All to play for in the second leg.

The super eagles of Nigeria was denied a penalty, they should have won the game had it been they were awarded the penalty, meanwhile the friendly between France and ivory Coast is really interesting to watch, I was amazed by how ivory Coast dominated the match before losing it in the stoppage time. It ought to have ended up in a draw though

That wasn't a penalty, Iheanacho actually fooled the Ghanian player. Watch the reply closely and you can see Iheanacho's leg not just hitting but pulling that of the Ghanian player before he fell on the ball with his hands. I would had been furious if after the review the penalty stood. It would had meant the integrity of our official will keep be questioned. The match was quite interesting the watch and you could see the Ghanian been frustrated after they couldn't get an advantage on their home soil.

The returning leg will be played in Nigeria and the super eagles will be well prepared. I believe the game plan was always to draw at Ghana and not going there trying to win because that would had been costly for us and expose the defense. True be told, the Ghanian team were the better side just that they lacked that quality needed for a final finish.

I don't think Senegal has seen the last of  Egypt yet because the pharaohs will make it a life's mission to make sure Senegal does not see the gates of the world cup because they are still smarting from the defeat at the afcon tournament. But looking at Senegal, I don't think they will fold their arms more so now they will be coming to their ground. I hope to see a comeback from the Senegalese side.

Seems he doesn't know how vital, one goal is in Africa football, the physically; of the game makes it difficult to even score more than one goals. It take a very strong side playing against a lesser team to achieve that. Egypt having a one goal lead is a very strong advantage. Let's not forget Senegal didn't score against Egypt at the AFCON finals. They only won by penalty and we know penalty is a game of luck. This means senagal are finding it difficult to break the Egyptian defense especially with their incredible goal keeper at the middle of the posts.

I doubt Senegal can score two without Egypt replying in the second leg match. Senegal put themselves at a very big disadvantage in this game, probably the fans at home will give Senegal the strength they'll need in that game because Egyptian can just adopt a defensive style of football and go through to Qatar.

It was a balanced game between these two @Mo. Salah and Sad. Mane and the win in this encounter came by an own goal. This tells you the extent to which, the Senegalese are prepared to give Egypt a serious fight over the slot. It was just a month ago that they did the unexpected and beat Egypt to lifting the prestigious AFCON trophy.  In essence, I don't see Egypt to be the top team here but Senegal. Senegal seems the more formidable team with Mendy in the goal post and Sadio Mane to lead the attack. Its still great on how this first encounter turned out so, the Senegalese have got to prove themselves once more after the AFCON finale.

Honestly every efforts by the Senegalese to equalize in yesterday's match was thwarted by the Egyptians, they threw in everything to frustrate their visitors from scoring, equalize and wining the match, I also view a replica of what happened yesterday to repeat itself in their second leg to be hosted by Senegal, though playing at home will give them an added advantage, however I am very sure the Egyptians will play defensively and play counterattack to be spearheaded by Mo.Sallah, it's up to the Senegalese team to utilize their chances else will have themselves to blame.

With what I have noticed from the first match though, it is likely that Nigeria would win the second match which is what we are waiting for and not more than few days from now. At least if Nigeria can not win in Ghana, they should b able to win in Nigeria.

From onset,I knew Egypt would win that match,despite the fact that Senegal won them through penalty in their previous meeting,Egypt were very much prepared for this meeting to avoid any silly mistakes that will make Senegal have advantage over them,and they fought it through to the last minute.Though Senegal also proved to be very tough,knowing fully well that Egypt were prepared proved to be very solid untill they made the mistake that led to Egypt's goal.

Tunisia is a strong team, but Nigeria has very beunos players, that presage you speak this time will not happen, sometimes we expect a lot from a team and we do not know the pressure that each player has, some Nigerian players play very well and more because they want Be seen by some teams in Europe, when a Nigerian or African player goes to Europe is a reason to give him a lot of satisfaction. Football is not what you wished for. No play from Ndidi, I expected him to control the midfield well, but he struggled. As luck would have it, Ndidi was unavailable, otherwise they would have seen what the Egyptians saw at the AFCON. This year, Ghana's greatest achievement has been drawing super eagles. Let's wait until Tuesday before we start throwing stones. We should wait for the returning match in Ghana, when there will be a quality pitch instead of the fall and rise pitch.

The performance of the African teams is so laggy in fact. In their competitions, you will never know how the game will end even if top teams like Nigeria is playing vs an unknown country. It is classic there. Things are more obvious in Conmebol although they switch places from time to time except Argentina and Brazil. Same goes for Asian teams. In UEFA qualifiers, you have usually a clear favourite with a surprise from time to time. In Africa, surprise from a half time to another and from a match to another. I will not be surprised if the outcome of the next games will be totally the opposite.
