how should I alter the PWM Frequency of a PSU connected 3-pin fan???
And what if room temp is increasing due to mining?

also added new FW point in wish list:

- having some editable user-presets like the 3 fixed from stock, which include the voltages, watts and fan speeds, maybe with a blank field for notes like the estimated hash speed

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1EnekOry8kPFKNd-e1VxHVCqrsSwgxppxbr7JLZvsvuE/edit#gid=0

BTW: first test with scheduling voltages did not work for me (tried switch off, value "0", 2 minutes ahead, nothing happened)

you don't alter the speed of the fan-it would stay the same, but you can adjust either SP20 voltage or S5 frequency until chips are at correct temperatures.
many people here posted about using non-PWM fans in SP20 (and S5). In fact, SP20 has a non-standard connector, so you cannot use regular PWM connector without a rare adapter.

Guy,

Is there any news on PickAxe? I really like the SP20 and SP31 and am very interested in acquiring more efficient mining gear soon.

I suppose more efficient gear probably won't be out until Spring 2015.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to SP-T.  Bitmain just shot themselves in the foot with their price increases.  Keep being a responsible vendor, and I'll keep buying your products.

I don't know what they are thinking coinbase exchange opened coins jump up for under 5 hours and they jumped prices from 340 to 370.+ shipping.

Now that coins dropped to 270  I don't see them so fast to drop the price back down.
They are too big to be so irresponsible with fast price changes like that. I understand both price jumps and drops but micro management of your pruducts price is bad form.

Another reason i have 9 sp20's in house and only 1 s-5.

I see BTC as the super highway and alt coins as taxis and trucks needed to move transactions.

I have purchased a few large lots with them was thinking about kicking one off, when you say international shipping do you mean from the US back to EU or something?
