For me 50BTC is enough for me to retire i might can buy a house an lot with 1BTC in the future.
With its value skyrocketing to $1000 in 2013 surely its value could rise to tens of dollars.

nice estimate, if we think the future according to the price trend of bitcoin and its adoption rate then only a few amount of bitcoin will we need to retire and to buy a house and to start a small factory which will be a source of extra income .

Why again to work after retirement? We need to enjoy our retired life with bitcoins as if price goes higher then we don't need to work anymore at old age.

Well if the value in 20 years were the same, for whatever god saken reason.

Then yeah, we`ll be forced to look for work. But if the value was high and we dont need to work - people go start doing something because people find it boring after awhile.

Look at mark cuban, the guy could retire, but just chooses to continue businesses.

Some of it is business, some of it is just wanting to have something to do. I know for sure that if I get time off that is in excess of 3 days, I find that I need to do something. Otherwise it feels like I'm just burning my life.

Yeah and after working for so many years, it would be difficult to seat idle as you are not used to it, so you will always find a way to keep yourself engage somewhere.

In bitcoin skyrockets to many thousands in 20 years, it is true that most early adopters will be rich people, but most of them will be still young people then, so I think it would be just natural for several of them to try new investments and develop online business. It is just the natural mindset of most online businessmen.

I myself was 20 years old now. 20 years to come I was 40 years old. I think it is not too old right ?
and I can still feel bitcoin sky-high. I could still feel the pump of bitcoin
therefore collect bitcoin as much as possible. because at this moment you are still young

Investing and collecting bitcoins is good for those who are still young and won't be retiring soon after 20 years..You could still make a move if something wrong happen..But for those who are in their 40's better think of investing in fiat for your retirement and just make bitcoin an extra...

You will need a lot of Bitcoins, and I dont know how much but you need a lot because the value can always change in the future so that can be very risky but we have to wait and see.
It is better if you see Bitcoin as a bonus or something and just have a daily job.

If you consider bitcoin as part of your retirement fund, then yes, you will need a lot of it or as much as you can collect...just to make sure that your future won't be compromised..But if you take bitcoin as an extra fund.. Then a few coins could do that...Better invest in real life funds to be safe...

use bitcoin as found for retirement is good idea, but we can predict in future bitcoin can survive, i think at this time the perfect invest fo retirement is buying vacant land near from city so in future the price can rise 1000%

That would be the best idea. Land will not rot and there is no proof what could happen with bitcoin. So better stay investing in land properties. You can use your profit from bitcoin to gain those lands.

Or just buy a stock that supports gold..

So that way its hedge already with the dollar and you also have another double form that acts like it which would be bitcoin too.

it would suck if you need to sell the land quick if the plan didnt fall through or waiting around for some buyer to show up.

I would hope the early adopters or adopters in general dont have to wait that long.

40 is stil kinda cutting the mark where I would sold way before then waiting those 20 years out.

This is just my view though, since I feel like this age factor takes a toll on us.

I think you will need a lot of bitcoins to do this because the bitcoin is unpredictable, on this moment you will need a lot of bitcoins, and I think its not even possible right now.
Maybe at the end of this year when the halving has been done and the price is stable and more predictable its possible to predict this but now its still not possible at all.

I don't think that the $200k would be enough for the needs in the 20 years to come, many people mention that the cost of living in 20 years to come very expensive, of course you need more than $200k mate
moreover it can not be called a rich man
