1 BTC. After 20 years it will be worth $100000  Grin

Anything is possible and we cannot afford to neglect the fact that bitcoin has that potential to achieve that price in next 20 years, only thing is we need to wait longer to see that price.
Lol if such a high price I do not need to work hard to collect hundreds of bitcoin. because if you have 1 BTC you can become a rich man. I thought the price was unreasonable and impossible to happen think if 1 BTC = $100k
its mean 0.0001 BTC worth $ 100 you must pay $ 100 for a transaction fee it was a very strange thing

Absolutely, maybe we are just affected with the fast and steady increasing price of bitcoins nowadays, we are getting too excited that we think of unrealistic prediction. To be reasonable 100 BTC would be enough for 20 years if this trend will continue.

Couldn't have said it better myself.. Actually I think the webot has predicted, BTC will be worth this much. It said something like wallets will be passed down, as generational wealth. In the future BTC will be discussed in millibits / multi-bit terms.

Well if that happens to millibits / multi bits terms, it's up to devs if they are going to chance it. No problem with me, but I hope that 10000 btc is enough for retiring for 20 years, you can already start out a family on it and wok out and start some of investment or business in real life.

maybe arround 100bitcoin.

That isn't enough for only 100 bitcoin for 20 years, because demand of goods and services are going high so the prices of what it is today , is still
going to change and that 100 bitcoin is not enough for it.
As we can't predict if the price of bitcoin will still on peak's price or down fall.

Depends on your age, and your plans for retirement. If you are planning to retire in 2020, then this amount may not be enough. IMO, BTC will hit a peak by 2025 or 2030. If everything goes according to the plan, then tens or even hundreds of millions of people will be using BTC by then, and the exchange rates will zoom to five digits. After 2030, it is risky though. There is always a chance of Bitcoins getting replaced with something better.

It may be that bitcoins do not hold any value after 20 years. Bitcoins are not a reliable currency currently and it has been here for very less time compared to other currencies but the future of bitcoin is not predictable. Soon it may be replaced by another currency. Grin

Lets say I want to buy bitcoins today and store them for 20 years to use a my retirement fund.  Live comfortably, but don't need to buy a yacht or anything.  How many do you think I would need to buy?
I do not know how much Bitcoins you will need to retire with Bitcoin. It depends on what you want to make in 20 years. I think that you will need at least 100 Bitcoins, that would be somewhat enough to retire with.

I think you must buy what you can only afford to buy right now without affecting your current life or sacrificing anything. 20 years is a very long time to plan it when it comes. Many things can happen on this 20 years. We can't predict if bitcoin's price will increase very big or decrease. 20 years is equivalent of 5 bitcoin halving if i am right so we can't say what will happen to bitcoim in 20 years.

yeah 100 bitcoin is a minimal amount of good for us to have in 20 years. although we are not sure that the price will be above $1000. but if it is above $1000, 100 bitcoin will become eligible.

It is all going to depend on what the value of the Bitcoin is at that moment and that is something that I am not able to predict. You will just have to wait until that moment to come behind the answer of your question.

You are making me laugh man, 10 btc? for sure? I think it isn't enough for 20 years before retiring, Maybe that is possible if 1 btc will be equal
to $10,000.00
If that's the value the 10 btc will be enough for 20 years.

If you believe that bitcoin will achieve $10k price levels in 20 years, then we can consider 10 BTC are more than enough to retire with. But many speculators are expecting bitcoin would reach million dollars price level by that time.

Well, no one knows, but i think bitcoin will never reach $10.000 for each bitcoin. It's too damn high for me, i think i need around 100-500 bitcoins for retire in 20 years if the bitcoin's price is good.

BTC is going through a bear phase atm and things seem all gloomy, but we need to keep up our optimism and hope that things change for the better. My time to look out for a major boom would be the next halving of block reward.

I think it depends on the price of the bitcoins and the inflation, you can not predict the money value of current day after 20 years. I will say that don't store bitcoins for 20 years, you never know where the bitcoin-economy will be after 20 years. For the best case, get 10 bitcoins, sell it whenever you think the bitcoin exchange price is at its best.
