No the back up will still work for a number transaction after saving the wallet.dat. It's a good idea after doing a few transaction to reback it up though if your balance changed by much.

not sure what you do mean.

wallet.dat is wallet.dat it is your walletadress.

You synced your wallet"programm" successfully so you should be on the right block right now.
That means you used your wallet as always but do not move entire coins yet because who knows what can happen.
Test with small amount first .

Seems like 200 000 went to a Mintpal address and then the rest to another as a single payment, maybe their cold wallet? Who knows!

Just hope this is not a start of another problem.

That's down from 8M. It's Mintpal's coins they are distributing back to the owners now. Go backwards through the chain and you can see them distributing it.

Was pretty impressed vrc price was holding up, but if it was due to a very muted supply ( as in 5 mil coins being tied up ) Well it makes you look at the market trading a little different.

I think his point was, that 8 million was the ones people where trading, the ones in personal wallets where longterm.

About 3/8 of the traders supply is released from mintpal 5/8 could still be locked up as of that blockchain transaction with 5 million in wallet.

We'll see how many of those go to wallets, and how many hit the other exchanges, I am hopeful.
