VeriCoin saved crypto today, and all this trouble in the end may help grow us further than we could have ever got before.

Saved you say i can agree... you saved exchange which had broken security code...
MtGox died in because lack of knowledge and ignorance when people were reporting them
their security bugs...and fallen next much more secured exchanges were risen...

Poloniex, Bitcurex in had lost only 10% of all BTC...
Hacks on their systems were detected bankruptcy of MtGox strengthen preasure of
security systems of exchanges in end result.... It costed BTC few bilion $ market cap...
Gox moved BTC price from 800+ $ to 400$...

Whole situation give bad image for whole crypto and show how easy is make rollback...


PS: I don't get that shit about only VRC was stolen from Mintpal... where are DRK LTC BTC...

Even if its suspicious , of course it is  (comspiracy theory,bla,bla,bla = aliens stole vrc they store it in AREA 51 .....) OK BUT the fact is with 1.45 million EUROS = MINTPAL will go down = you will loose your btc,ltc,drk,zs,BTC ............................. then all other exchanges down (may be they has 50 % of all min in circulation , 40 % of all zs ..... We even had 1 community step up through one of its core developers to help our devs today work on wallet.

Notice the communities and the way they act. Dogecoin is a great example of what crypto should be, and what vericoin is becoming. They help out others because they are caring community.


The majority of the anon communities have come out against this as you must expect. Anything mainstream is exactly the opposite of what those who wish to hide in the shadows want.

Expect a lot more hate in the upcoming days from certain groups. But remember to, There is a lot of good people and communities out there that we should return the favor to one day.

If preventing bank theft was as easy as the blockchain, you think a bank that had a vault theft wouldn't use the same logic if they could? Or do you think that they should let everyone that held money in the bank be hurt?

Those thefts aren't so easy to execute like in crypto because government require special security audits ext...and multiple security layers...and big transfers are confirmed by manual
In case of theft of your money by hacker you are paying for your fault from own pocket... in my country at least.

Thanks for these updates.   Despite having to wade through all the FUD going on, it'll pass, Vericoin will be fine and stronger for this, all the people who have been using the coin just got a lot more faith in you guys imo, including me.

People who don't like what has been done here can continue to not use the coin or they can stay on the old fork with the thief, no one is forcing anyone to upgrade or change anything.

We agree that this situation looks like PayPal fraud department f**** . Yeah i stop using Paypal for over 1 year since Bitcoin . I have no idea what people say here that PayPal is successful as many bussines understand how much harm they actually do . But did they had any other option till Bitcoin ? No .

Not much but we want people to find out how stuff are going on . If i had 30% of vericoin and i have been hacked i bet all my bitcoins that Vericoin Team wouldn't have moved a single finger . VeriCoin is the first and only crypto to stand up and do whats right. WITH THE CAPABILITY to do it. In the name of its community, over idealism.

VeriCoin is showing value in spades since this attack.

For it to not go mainstream at some point, I would be more shocked than ever. This community / team is unique to crypto, others would not pull through this a better coin / community, we will.

So what happens the next time a major VRC exchange or wallet gets hacked? Roll back?
