barabbas, with my coffee in hand, I read your book on passion I was onboard with you when you wish for the world to practice tennis - let me rephrase that " I wish that the majority of people in the world would get active playing sports." it would lessen the stress we have which in turns creates cranky, moody, sick, sad, angry beings. * my opinion at least. Sadly, it will not be Tennis, people need a simple sport that requires little or no equipment: Running I am athletic and love to wake up at 7am & work out, for 2 years now i started a running club (started when my wife ran a half marathon in NY ) here I was filled with passion more like ego I gotta keep up with her - She did not just wake up one day and was able to do it, it took time, effort, drive, dedication as you put it: passion. There were times we had doubts, but kept pushing. Whatever it was that she was doing, it was contagious - I later decided to join her on her runs, at first it was hard...really hard. Then amazingly enough the human body adapts. stronger, faster now to a point where joy kicks in. Nothing like running in Central park, music blasting away.. * runner's high rant Apply that same energy to your work, your craft, your investment, work at it. Not saying it will be easy, not saying you will not fail at times. But if you keep at it, You will get better. Learn from mistakes, adapt, grow. Whomever created Bitcoin put in a ton of hours, likewise the devs of Vericoin have put in a ton as well. Nothing comes easy in life, not even for super star athletes like the ones you mentioned - What you see on the courts or field is the result of passion.Years of practice, weight lifting, crying at night, having friends and community support them. Take Venus and Serena Williams, or Usain Bolt, Michael Jordan. All have failed at some point, yet they kept going. No matter who put them down, no matter who told them they would not make it, no matter how many times they got hurt. Same with Vericoin, it is not easy now, it is no walk in the park to develop, promote a coin. Step by step, passionate and dedicated devs and community...we will get there. Barabbas, I think it takes passion to comment on passion I agree with Shinraven and would add whether you are at the top or bottom passion is what drives you. On the "top" when the competition is behind you, when the goals have been met, it's passion that keeps you striving. When at the "bottom" and all hope is lost, its passion that drives you to not give up. Both actions are at times illogical but enable outstanding success.

This whole thing is as preposterous as it could be. And then some. Like asking a one legged man to run the 500 meters in under 1 minute. Even less likely. The devs that we have cannot implement the simplest of things -like a working wallent, or a multi-pool-, and you expect them to create a decentralized exchange? what are you nuts? Lol! You have such a penchant for drama and exaggeration! I have no idea what problems you're having with your wallent, but my wallet works just fine and has been working that way for quite a long time. I leave it running 24/7 and it handles private key imports and exports, internal coin transfers, outgoing payments, interest payouts, and regular incoming payouts from the VeriPool without a hitch. As for the VeriPool, that has also been working beautifully for weeks. Yes, it would be nice if the VeriPool website reported better stats, but that's the website, not the pool; the pool itself has been working quite well. I've received ~ 280 coins in the last 48 hours from the VeriPool (with ~21 - 23 Mh/s) , which is not bad at all! There is definitely a lot of confusion about the VeriPool, much of it understandable. Until there's a better official description in place, this will have to suffice: The VeriPool handles payouts differently than other pools. It may take up to 24 hours before you begin to receive payouts. The pool pays per block as opposed to on a fixed schedule. When you do start to receive payouts, they will likely be smaller than expected at first; you will receive a portion of what you've earned for each block while the remaining balance is put into the OBA (Optimized Buying Algorithm).
The OBA monitors the exchanges for trends and will hold all of the coins until it thinks it can get the best trades; this may be a few hours or even a day or more. Once the OBA makes some trades, you will begin to receive larger payouts.
It may take a day or more for the payout frequency to "stabilize". During this period, as mentioned above, you'll be earning more coins than you're receiving. Don't worry, tho! Those coins are not lost, they're simply being held by the OBA as it attempts to maximize your profits. When you stop mining, you'll likely continue to receive payouts for up to five additional days until all of the coins that you've earned have been paid.
If VeriCoin is experiencing a lengthy upward or downward trend on the exchanges, the OBA may sit on the coins for a longer period of time (sometimes days). During this time, you may notice that payouts occur less frequently or even stop completely. Don't worry; they WILL resume! When they do, the first few will probably be larger (possibly significantly larger) than your previous payouts. You frequently insist that you speak the truth (as you see it). While that may be the case, it's quite clear that you often see the truth differently than others... and that you sure do like to bend that truth to fit your own agenda.

Just wanted to quickly jump online and let everyone know the event went well. I'll provide a detailed report tomorrow in the morning. I'm just now getting home, I've been up/working since about 6am - so yeah... I gotta get some rest.
All in all the event went well. Not everything went as planned but that was expected. As mentioned above I'll give a full report in the morning.
Thanks again for all the support from everyone; Vericoin, time, ideas, skills - all made it possible.

I am ready to donate 100k VRC in the next 5 minutes to support any ideas that take this coin to the next level :-)) and I said to you I have nothing but respect for your hard work, but this event unfortunatelly will not change anything for vericoin, except that you feel very well that you have done something and probably that makes worthwhile the whole thing. So I am keep waiting for the opportunity to show my support. :-)))
Hi, just passing by to read the drama, navigate through the amazing nonexistent improvements and developments of the coin and collect my 100k from altcoinUK challenge so I can add them to my already diminished holding bag. The idea is simple and it can be resumed in one line: Convince James (jl777) to include Vericoin in the superNET project.VMEMgDLW1cXuYg9dVkG9t6Fh4psAYqyFKG Pleasure to help, altcoinUK! Eth.

Eth. i think this is a great idea! although .. "just passing by to read the drama, navigate through the amazing nonexistent improvements and developments of the coin" i think every constructive comment always includes some sort of bashing and its just this type of attitude that contributes to the drama... also what makes u think theres no improvements or developments going on...cause the devs don't announce everything anymore?...a coin cannot release new developments every week just to satisfy day traders and angry investors who are sitting on losses etc...have you thought that maybe they laid back on the comments cause there is always someone angry with something negative to say so really its pointless... better off just ninja adding developments... i highly doubt the devs are sitting back twiddling their thumbs..pretty sure they are focusing on improving vericoin instead of fighting angry investors/fudders/haters... with that being said... getting in contact with James (jl777) to include Vericoin in the superNET project is a great idea! and I'm sure james would love to have vericoin onboard , its a win win imo +1
