are there any future goals, any ongoing projects Huh
Plenty! In July, we're going to be setting up a table at the BTC:Chicago conference, so we're preparing literature on that. Tomorrow we'll publish the devfund blog, which will have a post every time dev funds are sent, with the following information:
-TxID
-Who 'owns' the address
-What the funds will be used for/are being used for
-Amount

This will allow the dev funds to be a lot more transparent. The blog hasn't been a priority until now, simply because of the low current market value of CURE, the dev funds don't have much purchasing power, and we've been using personal funds and IPO funds instead to pay for things.

Additionally, F@H has some very exciting developments in the works, such as ocore, and as such we are working on modifying our backend to support their changes.

In the next week or two, I'll be working on assembling a marketing team. Our first target will be the top 728x90 ad space on http://www.coinmarketcap.com/. If people want to start designing banners, be my guest. I'll be starting a new thread dedicated to the development of that, probably over at the curecoin forums. I'm planning on having people submit banner ideas, and I'll pick the winner with community input, with a small CURE prize.

So excited for the conference. And thanks to the many supporters this is now happening.
A special thanks goes out to Vorksholk for the time and assets he has invested.
To the Future!
FGB

Really excited for the conference too - let me know how it goes, I want to see my curecoin go back up to their previous values!

On a side note, coinmarketcap wants $5/1,000 impressions for that top banner slot which gets 2.7 million impressions a month. See here: https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/229736 As someone who has bought/sold advertising on websites before I can say that is quite steep. While coinmarketcap does carry a lot of weight, I would say unless you can get a better deal don't pay the $12,000 a month they are currently asking for.

I searched cryptocurrency on buysellads and here are some other decent websites that are priced noticeably cheaper.
https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/239498
https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/224938 (this website is still kinda steep)
https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/236248
https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/239498
https://buysellads.com/buy/detail/238491

All of those are more Bitcoin related websites.

Also, if I were you guys what I would do to market is write up an guide for step by step (and make it as simple as possible) for getting USD -> Curecoin and then go market that guide on various investor hangouts as a good investment and try to get investors interested in Curecoin & what it stands for.

Let me just emphasize that I'm very impressed by the concept of this coin. And I have a very personal interest that cancer will be defeated some day. My sister is suffering of it.

We will fight this!, it's sad to hear, my father went that road some years ago.
We have it in the family, a nice version if you recognize it early.

So I'm folding since Tuesday: 10 cores CPU and 1 HD7950. I didn't get neither points nor Curecoins. Is this "Folding for Curecoins" thing a hoax?

What's your username on F@H, and does it exactly match the one on cryptobullionpools.com?
Rainer4256 and Team 224497
Thank you.

So you should be getting some payout soon but not much though.

Hey! Looks like you have submitted 7 total WUs, with 1300 total points, and 325 points in the last 24 hr. You are getting payouts, but they're extremely small, as that is a very small amount of folding. What kind of PPD does your 10 core CPU and your 7950 report as estimated?

Cancer is such a ravenous disease. . . the miracles of modern medicine are still, sadly, at quite a primitive state. Even if they end up beating cancer, the struggle is so hard to watch them go through. Sad

Thanks for the links! Some of those looks like very good alternatives.

That's a good idea about the guide, getting USD into crypto is fairly difficult, currently.

don't even consider wasting money on coinmarket cap adverts. People who know about cmc know how to look at profitability. Nobody will mine this coin at this level of return.

Too many ipo coins, this dumping will continue for weeks. The buys are terrible.

Need support outside of the crypto boards.

May as well get fresh blood if wasting money advertising.

Great idea, terrible implementation.

If you want to spend some dev fund money, invest in coders to make some decent features for the coin. Or get some main stream attention on the coin outside of the usual crypto channels.

This should be the hottest coin on the board but nobody seems to care about it.

Use this board if you want to market to the crypto crowd... forget banners on cmc that won't do anything.

Good points. This coin really deserves promotion outside the crypto incestual community if it is at least for folding.

I think this is something for curecoin - if it's going mainstream the feature anonymity then curecoin need to have it to! (Open source)

Read more link: http://www.scribd.com/doc/228523266/Anonymity-Airdrop  http://honorcoin.co/
Original post: http://coinjoint.info/honorcoin-announces-anonymity-airdrop-mixing-system-based-coinjoin/

From the news: Posted by: hybridsole in News June 7, 2014

Honorcoin announces Anonymity Airdrop, mixing system based on CoinJoin.
The team behind Honorcoin has announced via Reddit their plan to deliver anonymity once and for all.
The project is titled Anonymity Airdrop, and promises to be a major change for all cryptocurrencies.

"We have developed a thin wallet that connects to Nodes using a mixing system based in CoinJoin. This system will be entirely open source and we will publish a guide on how to easily set it up for any other altcoin." - Anonymity Airdrop

"We have decided to call this event the Anonymity Airdrop since this software release will be a major change for cryptocurrencies in general. From this moment, every altcoin will have an anonymity solution. Close-source solutions like Darksend will no longer have the monopoly in Anonymity, and much likely become obsolete, for innovation is better in open source systems."

Myriadcoin announce SMS wallet is working in closed beta testing
Posted by: Bobby (ironhammer5) in News June 4, 2014

Myriadcoin have tonight taken to Reddit to show off a screenshot of a new SMS-based wallet for the coin. This news comes soon after they announced an Electrum-based desktop wallet  earlier this week.

The implications for an SMS-based wallet are rather huge, as it means anybody who is capable of sending a text message on their phone will be able to send, receive and hold Myriadcoins. It will open up the accessibility of Myriadcoin in regions where WiFi and high speed data connections aren’t available

Calling: ChasingTheDream

What happends with your speed, you are slowing down?
Can I help you with anything?

//Aboy68

I've got massive instability issues on 6 of my 9 rigs.  I'm trying like crazy to keep them running but they just won't fold more than a few hours without manual intervention.  I've underclocked my GPU's to their lowest settings and they still will not run stable.  I've got six different computers that are having this issue and each of them are running two 290X TRIX cards.  Of the three remaining machines two of them are running the same GPU's.  I've got a list a mile long of all the things I've tried to get things stable and so far none have shown any improvement.  I'm still working on it.

I've got a long thread going in the F@H forum and so far everything tried has made no difference.  It may not be fixable.  All the machines that have issues are using EVGA Z87 Classified motherboards so I've got a thread going there now as well.  I'm suspecting a BIOS setting or something but I have no idea.  I'll also start a thread on the AMD forum about it as soon as I get more time.

I've clocked all the GPU's back to much faster speeds  (core 940, memory 1200) but still slower than their default clocks.  So my overall PPD should rise again but it will fluctuate a lot due to the massive instability.  I would love to get this running properly though because my time around the machines is getting more and more limited so downtime when it happens will be longer.

I'll try to offset the longer downtime by scheduling forced restarts of the computers at set intervals.  Unfortunately the driver issues makes Windows so unstable I don't know if they will be able to restart on their own consistently.  It usually requires me to hit the reset button.  In any event, I'll still trying to get things running properly.

I've been so buried trying to keep things running and working I haven't even had time to post or sleep.  lol  On that note...  I'm going to have some beers!   Grin

What about your environment, heat? We have experienced a ridiculous effect. It's no science behind it. Our riggs have dual PSU's(4 GPU's) so there are double power cords to the rig, if we placed the cords directly on the outside of the rig we did experienced massive instability, then we did move the power cords under the rig, the rig turned out to be stable again !!! Crazy but on two different locations we saw the same effect.

Something for you to try out  Grin

Strange results.

even that Curecoin folding have gone from 240 000 000 to 120 000 000 that is 50% down.
I have not received a 100% up on the value.
What is really strange is that the same value is paid out 2014-06-08 and 07, 05 and 04. Huh?
At this time my curve was going all over the place and the curve for curecoin folding team is going down, I should never get the same value!!!!
This looks like something went wrong when you tried to do the "real time" payout feature, did something go wrong in that implementation??
In the table below you see the same values and the values before the "real time" payout dated around 2014-06-03.

During that time I have got these coins:
2014-06-08 152.240917coins
2014-06-07 152.240917
2014-06-06 156.650553
2014-06-05 157.7938
2014-06-04 157.7938
2014-06-03 94.174529
2014-06-02 80.616814
2014-06-01 95.384168

One more strange thing is that I'm folding on two account with multiple computers and both of them are working as fine as they did in the beginning but my ppd are going DOWN??? Why is the ppd going down on a global scale, is this a natural behavior of the folding projects???

And if I check my ppd results that I'm now trying to be as high as 2014-05-20 to 22, even if it works "100%" now I'm not close to the top results then, why??

Whit my experience of mining software or computer software Im have to say that folding software is in a beta stage and need to be shaped up allot!
People don't have time to "manage" folding software in the level of what is needed, it have to be fixed to be successful.

That is pretty awesome! I'd be curious to see what kind of centralization that requires. If they found a way to do that without centralization, that'd be impressive.
