Pushed a fixed AEON miner to GitHub - reconnecting should work now. Also updated the example config.

Thanks Wolf0! Don't forget you still have a bounty coming. Once we get some tests that it does work it can be paid out.

Looks like the network is getting pretty healthy. I see a lot more nodes including nodes some new nodes accepting incoming connections. Minergate is still >50% but down considerably from before. Please continue to deploy nodes and spread out the hash rate!

I said why earlier - it says low diff share no matter what, but it's stale.

Does it send significantly more of these than other miners? If so it seems that might fail because if you send enough bad shares you probably get banned? (Mostly guessing as I don't know exactly how the pool software works.)

If it is comparable to other miners then I don't see a problem.

Okay as long as it doesn't cause banning and the net hash rate is decent then it seems acceptable.

It's not to me. I'll be fixing it.

Oh okay, that's even better. I misinterpreted your comment as suggesting it wasn't worth fixing. I look forward to the improved version then.

i guess this one is a stale.

[23:21:22] Share accepted: 47/50 (94.00%)
on this test, rejected are ~5% (vs 14% on the first run and ~0% with cpu miner)
still no problems with reconnection

@Wolf0 : i configured my 7950 with rawintensity at 2112 (max accepted before error -61) and worksize at 256. my hashrate look weak (comparing other report)

I'm amazed people still mine at minergate...

It was recommended in the OP up until just a few weeks ago.

with rawintensity not divisible by worksize, i was banned from my pool. i wasn't aware it will cause issue.
Code:
2015-11-01 00:03:33 [pool] (Thread 1) Accepted valid share at difficulty 2000/41394 from WmsSWgtT1JPg5e3cK41hKXSHVpKW7e47bjgiKmWZkYrhSS5LhRemNyqayaSBtAQ6517eo5PtH9wxHVmM78JDZSUu2W8PqRiNs@xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

and now with rawintensity at 2048 and worksize at 16, hashrate is still weak 540h/s but rejected are less.
Code:
[00:28:29] Share accepted:  51/53 (96.23%)

windows gpu miner is running for ~10 hours on my pool (var diff) without problems.
Code:
[08:48:08] Share accepted: 975/1072 (90.95%)
[08:48:08] Total Hashrate: 542.37H/s
if someone can confirm his % of accepted (perhaps my pool or windows build are the reason)

not tested if it's better on mooo's pool and if linux is faster.

cpu usage: 50% with peak at 80-90% every 3 seconds.
platform: win64 and hd7950, pentium g2030

I'm using a 7950 on Linux Mint Mate 17.2. The current miner gives around 680 H/s, so I've put the latest disconnect code into the original miner which gives me 700+ H/s. Even inside a PC case, with CPU also at 100%, the GPU runs at a cool 59c.

Code:
[09:56:52] Share accepted: 1240/1240 (100.00%)
[09:56:52] Total Hashrate: 701.72H/s

The driver I'm using is fglrx 14.40.1. My config:

Code:
					"corefreq": 1000,
"memfreq": 1300,
"fanspeed": 65,
"powertune": 20,
"threads": 1,
"rawintensity": 2048,
"worksize": 32

I'm mining AEON @ 900 H/s with an AMD FX-8320 at the same time. This drops to ~810 H/s when I start GPU mining at the same time.

What OS are you using and what tool is telling you 70%?

It's worth noting, in the Linux Mint that I use, System Monitor %CPU goes all the way up to 800% for CPU usage because I have an 8 core CPU. So if it showed 70% for me, that would be OK.

280x and 270x

What OS are you using and what tool is telling you 70%?

It's worth noting, in the Linux Mint that I use, System Monitor %CPU goes all the way up to 800% for CPU usage because I have an 8 core CPU. So if it showed 70% for me, that would be OK.

Only 280x and 270x are mining, CPU is not mining and usage is still 70%, it is not normal.

Are you using Windows or Linux?

Win 7.
