For expert:
can anyone help me to withdraw my AeonCoins from Poloniex?
it's mission Impossible?  Cry Cry Cry

I have the same problem. First they answered my ticket and told me to iniciate the withdrawal of all coins.
I did and then no answer for over 1 month. Maybe they wait until rebase is done or so. I've read that bigger amount of AEON must be split!?
I hope if AEON grows they will list it again. Then it should be no problem.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

Which pool do you use for mining?

aeonpools.net

Theres a list of pools:)
Would be great if you support smaller pools for decentralizing the network

Problem is, we've sent them about 5 different emails within 10 days to list our Poolele.com , but they don't seem to respond. Do they "face control" listed pools or something?

I'm getting 1,7 Kh/s with an r9 390 using aeon-stack-amd. Is this about right or am I doing something wrong?

Is anybody able to sync the blockchain with the latest release?
Keep getting this message:

2017-Oct-16 11:51:40.780281 [P2P9]Failed to connect to any of seed peers, continuing without seeds

What to do? Makes this project useless if you can't sync and won't be able to use or even create a wallet ..?
Can anybody please upload their p2pstate2.bin file? Thanks

i dont have p2pstate2.bin too
i cant find aeon folder in roaming or program data what am i doing wrong?

Hi to all fellow aeon miners,
if I'm not asking too much, someone could upload an updated blockchain.bin file?
Or post a link here or pm it to me where i can download an updated file?
Is taking me days to sync it properly.
Thanks in advance.

Don't really know about a blockchain to dl, but here is a list of public nodes:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Aeon/comments/73829j/public_nodes_new_list/

You can sync simplewallet with them.

How long does it take to earn some AEON with a hashrate of 900 h/s? I have been mining but no reward yet.
Do you recommend to join https://aeon-pool.com/?

I am solo mining on a Intel Core i7 5280K with simplewallet and aeond.

Not sure if ihave setup thing s right, when minig is startet from the wallet, the reward will automaticly go to my wallet?

Do you recommend a other way of mining?

Yes it will go automatically to your wallet. But since the network hashrate is high, it might take a month or two to find a block alone with 900h/s (though your solomining helps the network to decentralize). You might wanna consider to pool mine with your hashrate if you prefer regularly payment with less waittime.

Since aeon-pool.com has currently the highest hashrate as a pool, it would hurt the network and ultimatively the coin if you join them. Please join a smaller pool to help decentralizing the network.

You can find a list of pools here: aeonpools.net

If you have any further question, we are here to help

Hi,
for better results, you can try out aeon-stak-cpu, you can download binaries from here:
https://github.com/shyba/aeon-stak-cpu/releases

General suggestion by the devs is not using the main pool (aeon-pool.com) but smaller ones.
You can find a list of available pools here:
http://aeonpools.net

Since our pool is not listed in aeonpools.net for some reason, I give you our URL as well:
https://aeonpool.poolele.com

Correct, a dedicated CPU miner is generally much more efficient than the default miner included in aeond. Besides Stak-CPU, XMRig is also highly recommended: https://github.com/xmrig/xmrig

On my MacBook Pro 2016 with 2.9GHz Core i7, XMRig generates near 1000 H/s (with huge pages enabled) while aeond generates only around 500 H/s, both with 8 threads.

Very helpful answers. Thank you all very much.

My machine crashed already two times during mining with 12 and 10 threads. I guess I have to go down to 8 threads.
Maybe with the suggest aeon-stak-cpu I will be able to mine with more threads.

As soon as my setup is ready to go, I think about joining a smaller pool.
Ad as soon ASUS finally releases the new Custom Design RX Vega 64 I will have a lot more hash power.
Would you recommend a other graphics card than the new AMD Vega 64?

I didn't know that the MacBook is able to mine as well and I will set up this system up after my Desktop machine.

one more thing: I have a Linux and a Windows system on my same machine. I s there a difference in hash rate between the two?
I read somewhere with Linux mining is better, more stable? better hash rate?

When mining with CPU, it is best tuning it at your CPU Total Threads Number -1 (if you're using the computer) or at your max if you're gonna let it mine, without using it.
example 4Core *2 Threads per Core  = 8 Threads total

In case you want to mine with both CPU and GPU on the same setup, it's best using CPU Cores number -1, or else you'll experience frequent miner crashes.

I have the best personal experience using these:
RX580 AORUS 8GB ~1600H/s (moded ROM - overclocked)
RX470 STRIX 4GB ~1300H/s (Rx570 ROM - overclocked)
RxVega64 is actually too expensive for the hashrate it achieves

If you use aeon stak cpu to mine the readme will tell you the optimal number of threads to use based on the cache size of your CPU. It also has information on how to enabled locked pages (Win 10 Pro) for an extra ~15-20% boost.

Wanna add to the two previous answers:

Most important for CPU mining is the L3 cache of a CPU. You can find that information by googling your CPU.

Lets say you have 4 core CPU with 8 threads but only 4 MB L3 cache, then you should have max 4 threads set for mining.

Aeon uses a 1mb scratchpad.

What miner are you using for CPU and how many threads? Seems low, are you using CPUMiner Multi? My recent tests showed me that you can get double the hashrate with xmrig and aeon-stak-cpu

Would be great if you support smaller pools for decentralizing the network

I've been mining at aeon.rupool.tk until something wrong happened, the pool was frozen for days, then it was reset.
I think I've lost some money with that reset so until I find another good low diff pool I mine another coin that looks profitable.
Quite shame, since I like AEON. However, I'm done with "smaller pools".

aeonpools.net

Theres a list of pools:)

Thanks for the list, it'll make my my research quicker, maybe I get back to AEON sooner than I first thought.
