Why do I keep getting rejected (FAILURE_PAST_DEADLINE) while locally harvesting?

You see it in the log every 3 secs? Then there is an expired transaction in your local cache or your node rejects an expired transaction from some other node.
Without further information I cannot give you more details.

UBUNTU-NODES

If you run a node on Ubuntu and used this link (https://github.com/jadedjack/Nem-Installers/archive/master.zip), please mirror the master.zip and send me a PM.

Thanks!

Easiest way to get rid of the message is to restart NIS. If it is still there then it must be another node (which is not harvesting) which got that expired transaction (I suspect that).
Anyway, the message is not harmful, you can simply ignore it.

It's been steadily going up for a while now. I do have the same feeling that the price is suppressed - i certainly think it's significantly undervalued for sure regardless of any manipulation.

looking at a +3% change while every other coin is down.

Restart NEM software completely and then start harvesting again.
If you still have problems you should send the NIS log to me via PM.

As soon as I visit the site, my Firefox is fucked up and doesn't load website anymore. Weird...

Now it works, after the fifth try...

Still heavy problems with Firefox after logging in. Using Chrome now for Telegram. Works fine.

I have NIS running remotely with delegated harvesting for over a month now, but the last few days when I try to open my wallet, It says NIS not available or NIS is synchronizing. Sometimes it catches up, other times not and I keep getting those annoying Oops errors. Even when it does catch up and goes green, it loses synchronization again. My node seems to up always on nodeexplorer. Any ideas?

Hmm...Did you try to reboot your machine, just in case there is some other NIS process still in memory that you are not aware of?
Can you give more information like operating system and NIS version you are using?
Stupid but restart actually helped. Looks like supervisor process handling is not perfect, and some java processes remains after stoping supervisor.  Looks like term stops ncc and ncc correctly.
Code:
pkill -15 -u `id -u username`
What is the proper way to stop ncc and nis? I run in supervisor since it is easy to run process under separated user with it. Anyway I planning to switch to container. And I seen some ncc and nis package with build in init scripts but I can't find it now, was on: https://github.com/jadedjack/Nem-Installers/.
Also, can you recommend me some websites where I can spend or invest my XEM?
And where I can read about current importance calculation and is it more profitable to harvest from one account with bigger XEM amount or from several poor accounts?  Can I activate harvesting for all NEM different nem addresses (balances)  in one wallet. (do I need to do it separately or click on harvesting is enough and it will enable harvesting for all addresses)?
And I planning to sell domain for XEM, where is  better to do that deal?
