Yay!
Harvested my first block that contained a fee!
Got 10 XEM, now i want to try delegated harvesting again but want a good node to use.

Find one on : http://www.nodeexplorer.com/

Normally you could check on nembex which ones have a long uptime (however,  due to the release of  0.6.30 yesterday you better choose one which is on 0.6.30 allready  Wink )

Just copy/paste the IP from nodeexplorer and see if it works.

good luck  Cool

Thanks will try that, just one question, do i have to leave my machine running on for the whole 6 hours to activate delegated harvesting, or can i safely shut down once i enable delegated harvesting? Smiley

no need to leave it on.

Polonies changed its rules?

There is now required more personal information to make the withdrawals.

https://poloniex.com/terms/

Do the other exchange places have similar rules?

Poloniex had done a tricky move:
first is received money, when the rules are not so strict,
and then is made withdrawals more difficult by tightening the rules = the money is "frozen".

Fair game? ... changing the rules when the game has already started   Cheesy

Will the chance to find blocks on an delegated node increase the longer the node is up? Or is the "chance" always the same, even if the used node up since weeks? I am asking because I think that I found more blocks on nodes which are longer up.

LOL looks like someone didn't like that I mentioned the silver coin scam in the ournem group.

Sorry jadedjack, you are banned from posting and sending personal messages on this forum.
This ban is not set to expire.
Oh come on, don't play dumb now... You started to delete tutorials you wrote for the NEM community, because you are not happy with the node reward draft (you fear that you don't get node rewards for the 14 nodes you were running). You tried to delete github issues which you wrote, too. I will stop here.

Nobody is banning people for critisizing the silver coin idea. If that would be the case, a lot of users would have been banned by now, but in fact nobody was.

It's sad to see a person like you go, but this attitude is just not acceptible.

By the way, from development contract:
Quote
f the allocated stakes do not reach a high enough value to fund the project (to pay the mint and cover all costs [shipping costs etc.]) until V1 is released, the complete fund will be transferred to the community fund.

Does this mean the coins won't go out until V1?

Do we have opencart plugin or some kind of api that I can easily connect with popular shop engine? I have idea to make small shop where everyone can buy things for XEM with worldwide shipping.

ForgingBlock focuses on providing integrated solutions and builds infrastructures for developing a community to facilitate the merchants adopting cryptocurrency payment. You can find their more information at the official website at ForgingBlock

No, it was your and others f$ck you response to me. Like you community have done before

You mean someone is not allowed to delete their own posts and work? Do your own work.

It is pretty scummy of you to take my work and repost it after you know I want it removed.

That is why I mentioned there are people waiting anxiously for the price of xem to rise so they can pull off the silver coin scam. This is the reason for requiring the 3 million deposit for a node to qualify for rewards. It is a scheme to pump up the price of xem. There is no other reason for it.

Would you please stop childish accusations and spreading bad karma (I mean the real one)?
The main reason for the 3 million deposit is clear. It's against botnets. And there are probably more reasons...
And can't you be patient? If the coins program will work out, we are discussing about literally nothing.

BTW: deleting work, because of not granting any more is ridiculous. Are we in the kindergarden?

As I already wrote on the official NEM forum:"Are you kidding me? 9 BTC for 1 oz of gold, which is worth 5 BTC? Good luck."
I wasn't banned. I didn't get bad karma (I don't care anyway). Who ever think it's a good idea to buy this silver and gold coins, has too much money.
But who cares? Let them buy, it's their decision. End of story. It has nothing to do with the project itself. It's just a marketing-thing, like NXT did, too.

And 3 million XEM is fair enough for me. Not because I have more than enough XEM, but I get the problem, that people will run too many nodes and earn all the rewards. But we are still discussing it, so I don't get why you (jadedjack) startet this childish and headless action and deleted everything. That's really stupid. Enough from me about this. It's not about persons, it's about the project. Again: End of story.

Feel free to come back, jadedjack. You have my blessing. Wink

How about instead of "Silver NEM Coins" (I sure could care less for this), just redistribute the unclaimed stakes amongst the original stakeholder list.

Problem solved.

No, the chance to harvest a block does not depend on the uptime of the node, it is probably just variance.

No, it means the whole silver coin thing does not make sense if the price for xem is too low as we would have to spend a too big part of the funds on it.

Hello friends,

I am new to NEM (XEM) and altcoins in general.  I have a Windows7 and have purchased XEM on an exchange.
I would like to send my XEM to a wallet that is simple to use and functional.
Please give me a simple guide to the steps I should follow for installation of my wallet.

Thank you.

ps How long does it normally take to download the NEM wallet?

a new version of wallet 0.6.31

http://bob.nem.ninja/installer/

There was a bug in 0.6.30 in translations, that disabled all other translations, we're sorry about that.
That's been fixed, and here's 0.6.31 for you.
