Plus or minus.

Bitcoin Fact: the price of bitcoin will not be greater than $70k for more than 25 consecutive days at any point in the rest of recorded human history.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

Believe it or not, long before Proudhon became everyone's favorite bear, he was a supermegaturbobull.  But then 32->2 hit him pretty hard and his horns turned to claws.

Well I cheated, I got the pic from reddit, where it's No. 1 on /r/bitcoin today. Just looked like it belonged here.

I saw Jon Matonis tweet that pic earlier this morning.

this reminded me of an update i emailed to my subs last July 2012 where i inverted the silver chart and compared it to BTC to show the eerie symmetry.  BTC was at 7 at the time and poised to break resistance and make a major move up as silver was poised to break support and move down.  it was very helpful.

im pretty damn sure if we went with 10 people and all got an island to share, we could get one hell of a nice island.

Not an island, but these guys accept BTC for land, apparently:

Wow... to think a bitcoin could be worth so much in so little time.  Imagine the day that everyone finds out about bitcoins...  This forum might actually hold the future richest man in the world (some guy who mined 40k bitcoins back in the day and forgot about them).

i looked into that, dont think its going to take off, so i did not follow it.

Yeah, Edan Yago's thing (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=208333.0) sounded like a more pure experiment, but there hasn't been any activity in that thread in quite a while.

Funny, that was when I was most enthralled and thinking - "Feed me moar!"

Nice contrast:

Well, at least copper's up  Wink

Well, at least we know silver would not fall to 3, or 4-5 for that matter.

good grief

This is not some pseudoeconomic post-modern Libertarian cult, it's an un-led, crowd-sourced mega startup organized around mutual self-interest where problems, whether of the theoretical or purely practical variety, are treated as temporary and, ultimately, solvable.
Censorship of e-gold was easy. Censorship of Bitcoin will be… entertaining.

Impressive, but wait it gets better.

On two china 2 exchanges the litecoin volume is twice of goxes bitcoin volume. The high has been 78 yuan (~USD 13) currently it is over 10USD in china and 8.7 on btc-e
Only Goxes inability to function as a money exchange slowing the expansion in other parts outside of china and india.
What options have you got to trade on gox? Bitcoin with bitcoin and bitcoin with dirt (fiat).
Lots of people would give the left nut to be able to buy some litecoins on gox as long as they are so cheap.
