As some might already have noticed, we current have severe problems with our main website http://burstcoin.info. For the time being, we have closed down all content on the site. If you access the website, it will re-direct you to this thread's OP until we figure out what's wrong.

Sorry for this. We'll keep you updated when things are back to normal.

I'll not comment on this more today, but I can say so much it's not a dds. http://burstcoin.info is connectible, even if it re-directs to this thread here.

Who is DEV? if referring to developer of building stuff then Indeed I am but not a Burst dev. Just build websites play with code and brake things that don't need fixing lol. Been working on a alt coin website for a few years on and off and decided to cancel the project beginning of last year as did not know what direction I was going to go with it and then decided on starting fresh for 2015. Got the website and community back up and running rebuilt from the ground up and finishing off some bits that need to be done then going to open for public to sign up and start using.

You can also write about ASIC proof and ASIC resistant (at this moment) and very difficult to realize it in botnets. Another thing is decentralziation - Many people mine solo. Pools are divided and not dominate in total network capcity. I can't write it in nice sentence becouse English is not my first language, but you can use this information to make better sentence with correct grammar Smiley

A Second Competition
What we need is
1) a better presentation on the Twitter account (winner submission will get 10,000 burst
2) a list of tweets about burst (selected winners will get 2,000 burst, where the maximum payout from us is 50,000 burst)

Competitors are allowed to submit how many suggestions they want, but only the onces picked will be paid. Proper English is not a prerequisite, the team will handle that (not me Wink )

How to participate
Please do not post your submissions in the thread, as that might be against the rules of bitcointalk. Instead:
1) email your BURST address, 2) your name on bitcointalk and 3) your suggestions. The email address is  burst@countermail.com
2) cope/paste the exact text from the email and PM them to me here at bitcointalk. If you do not both email and PM your answer will be out of competition.

Please note that a tweet and a presentation can be no longer than 150 characters!

Good luck, have fun - and please help BURST!

Guys i really think that burst is the best alt coin ATM, i was thinking about why there is not so much ppl trying to mining it, i mean compare with his potencial.

Maybe is because we are not doing a great SEO with our coin, so lets help to ourselft and try to promote burst in any way!!

We have some good points:

  • cheap than asic
  • fair about hdd manufactures, i mean there will not be a better hdd to use in next two months like asicss world
  • cheap about power consume
  • easy to buy hdd hw arround the world, not like all those asic scams

etc etc, cmon guys, All help are welcome!!!.

Why don't you submit a few tweet suggestions along those lines - and possibly earn some money while doing so?  Wink

Also, I want to point out that we're working with many other things but Twitter, like contacting businesses, writing articles, starting a blog, et c. But we need the communities support to succeed. That's why we try these competitions Wink

Hi, I have unconfirmed transaction even after many blocks on set reward assignments. Please check the image attached. I have deleted the burst_db folder and resync, and also setting "nxt.enableDebugAPI=true", restart the client, go to http://127.0.0.1:8125/test?requestTag=DEBUG and click clearUnconfirmedTransactions. But 2 methods with no clue. Any solution? Thanks!

Does anyone have a readme for Blagos miner? I'd like to solo mine, but the google doc only shows how to pool mine.

Check this out: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=731923.msg9863013#msg9863013

Thanks, how do you know if everything is functioning properly? I think I got everything working, but I'm not certain whether or not it's really 'working' so to speak. There is little to no documentation for the miner so I don't have any idea what any of the dialogue or options actually mean.

Like what is: dl sdl cdl ss rs?

How often does the mining 'phase' happen? How do you know if you found a block mining solo? How do you know how long it took to process the last deadline and what the deadline is (I'm using blagos)? What is the initial 'mine' that happens when you start the miner up, where the percentage in the bottom left counts up?

What is optimizing people talk about and how do you do it? What does it mean?
