Everyone is too busy trading the new Gold Coins in CryptoKingdom to care much about the XMR price. In fact we want it to go down so we can get more XMR.
Is this irony? I don't understand. I thought there was an understanding ( gentlemen's agreement), that from now on the Monero Community is supporting it's (positve) price development. (-> rpietilas price grow start post)

About 100 players on CryptoKingdom.
I don't speak for anyone as a group, just noting that the sentiment seems to be that many are still in the process of accumulating XMR and they are also addicted to spending XMR in CK.
The amount of user XMR deposits in CK is close to 1% of the current emission and rising every day. This supply is not cashed out.

(-> rpietilas price grow start post) There is, but people can still be hoping it will go down so they can buy/accumulate more. If this doesn't happen however, they have to market buy. You shouldn't be confused by saddam's post. Also, have a look at the total asks and bids and compare this with a few weeks ago, this will tell you what the Monero Community really thinks (hint: supporting it's (positve) price development )

Those wishing for lower XMR prices in order to accumulate more XMR could very easily and without notice get sideswiped by the circus surrounding the Darkcoin to Dash re-branding.

True, I'm not waiting for a better price. Just waiting for more income in which to buy with. Soon as it comes, it goes BTC->XMR.

I thought the DRK community was more or less normalizing to this change... is there new info? i got sick of reading the drk thread.

There are still people who I think are/were genuine DRK supporters who criticize it as a loss of focus, unwanted change in direction, the autocratic manner in which it was done, and having driven away a key developer. I don't know how to quantify that relative to the overall size of the community, nor to judge whether the new name will attract more new supporters.

I was wondering, is there a payment processor for monero out? Like code that you can add to your website if youre a merchant to accept moneroj.
xmr.tois the closest we have. There's also this: https://getmonero.org/getting-started/accepting

There are still people who I think are/were genuine DRK supporters who criticize it
Example: While I was optimistic at first for a rebranding, the way the situation was handled was absolutely horrible. Dash itself is IMO quite a bad choice for the name and I've been vocal about that but the fact that no alternatives were seriously discussed and that the decision was made permanent within a few days was a dictator move instead of a decentralized currency and it made me rethink the effort I put into promoting.
(click through to read the whole thing). It is pretty clear this guy is not a troll or a shill for another coin. If you look at his history he has been an enthusiastic DRK supporter and promoter for a long time.

I used to be a Darkcoin supporter. But I'm done with it since I don't like where it's headed. It's masternode concept is taking liquidity and decentralization out of the picture, and pretty much going against what a "crypto"(Decentralization) currency(Liquidity) is supposed to be. The instamine didn't help either.

i think part of todays activity might be influenced by bitcoin crash, no?
As the monkey told me last week, first 250 this week, then 380 in April. 250 part is now. 380 is coming. Bear is getting long in the tooth and can't rowr much anymore. You had best stock up on BTC now.
