Sent 50 GAP. Btw guys do we need a new design ? I could try to reach a very good designer to do this task for us (the one who designs Shadowcoin and a lot of others coins). |

Is there anything that can be done to speed up syncing ? At the moment it takes over 1h to sync 10 days worth of blockchain data.

It took only minutes here. Whats slowing it down? Network? HDD? Still syncing, problem lies in block verification, its too slow. You could not possibly sync 10 days in couple of minutes, mine is still syncing, 2 days behind, over 1 hour. |

You could not possibly sync 10 days in couple of minutes, mine is still syncing, 2 days behind, over 1 hour. That happened to me a couple of times on my cloud servers. I shutdown the wallet and restarted it and it synced much faster. |

someone already pointed out that GPU miner can be constructed by merging A) https://github.com/gapcoin/Gapcoin-PoWCore and B) https://github.com/madMAx43v3r/xpmclient/tree/master/gpu/fermat.cl and C) https://github.com/madMAx43v3r/xpmclient/tree/master/gpu/sieve.clnot trivial! but certainly no phd in CS needed, hard work and diligence for sure (and sleepless nights) I would say and based on experience with XPM , such a miner should be released in the open to push difficulty very high at the early start, would be nice to see very large primes being processed by the network great coin overall one of the best thing that arrived on the scene as of late  I m almost sure that right now whoever is doing between 1,500,000 to 3,000,000 PPS is doing it thru cloud service (and paying nice premium ain't cheap) buy 10 Instances on AWS and you have the same PPS, its good so it means someone trusts value of it is gonna go up n fold from AWS prices that they are paying right now |
