Thks Dude! Added. We could also give exchanges the finger and start trading it here in this thread But to be honest: I would love to see an exchange having CAP as it's main exchange coin instead of BTC. And way more merchants. But that is a pipe dream. Not a pipe dream. The problem I see with a lot of coin communities is that there's many people that just wants to make a buck, but not willing to put the effort into making a real market for the coin such as goods and services. Basically lots of people that wants, complains, but at the end of the day they do absolutely nothing to improve the situation for themselves or the coin. It's the same thing in society, that's why there are people that does well and people that don't. Projects that do well and projects that don't. https://www.crypto-city.comso true, that's why CAP must die, to stop eating up people's time and other resources for nothing, not to mention their addiction to pipe lol There just aren't a lot of established mid to higher percentage staking coins. This forms a small party of coins with Truckcoin, RAIN, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Bitradio, Chess, and Compound. I know there are a few others, like associated with the TALK thread. This forms a small party of coins with ... ?Main directive of TALK collective Except crypto-city.com seems to be distancing from a managing bitcointalk.org/ treads. All fine and well, but a fundamental aspect of TALK is working with a small party of POS coins that maintain activity on bitcointalk.org/ treads. Hence, a core concept.

bchabcsv123 The nature of Bitcoin is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of its lifetime. Because of that, I wanted to design it to support every possible transaction type I could think of. The problem was, each thing required special support code and data fields whether it was used or not, and only covered one special case at a time. It would have been an explosion of special cases. The solution was script, which generalizes the problem so transacting parties can describe their transaction as a predicate that the node network evaluates. The nodes only need to understand the transaction to the extent of evaluating whether the sender's conditions are met.
The script is actually a predicate. It's just an equation that evaluates to true or false. Predicate is a long and unfamiliar word so I called it script.
The receiver of a payment does a template match on the script. Currently, receivers only accept two templates: direct payment and bitcoin address. Future versions can add templates for more transaction types and nodes running that version or higher will be able to receive them. All versions of nodes in the network can verify and process any new transactions into blocks, even though they may not know how to read them.
The design supports a tremendous variety of possible transaction types that I designed years ago. Escrow transactions, bonded contracts, third party arbitration, multi-party signature, etc. If Bitcoin catches on in a big way, these are things we'll want to explore in the future, but they all had to be designed at the beginning to make sure they would be possible later.
I don't believe a second, compatible implementation of Bitcoin will ever be a good idea. So much of the design depends on all nodes getting exactly identical results in lockstep that a second implementation would be a menace to the network. The MIT license is compatible with all other licenses and commercial uses, so there is no need to rewrite it from a licensing standpoint.
The nature of TALK is such that once version 0.1 was released, the core design was set in stone for the rest of time.teh hee https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jN5uZXcwLlEmono crypto theist

https://coinmarketcap.com/glossary/ M
Mineable: Some cryptocurrencies have a system through which miners can be rewarded with newly-created cryptocurrencies for creating blocks through contributing their hash power.
Cryptocurrencies with this ability to generate new cryptocurrencies through the process of confirmation is said to be mineable.
* Not Mineable: Some cryptocurrencies are generated only through other mechanisms, such as annual inflation through staking. These cryptocurrencies are said to be not mineable.
only through other mechanisms, AKA not hashing? NO! Staking still requires hashed blocks, just low difficulty in terms of CPU flops needed, it is still hashing. Staking requires contributing [their] hash power + holding X-amount of coins. POS still requires hashing, therefore Mineable, by their own definition. CMC is tarded. Also, "Cryptocurrencies with this ability to generate new cryptocurrencies through the process of confirmation is said to be mineable." POS is the ability to generate new cryptocurrencies through the process of confirmation, thus is said to be mineable.

We can create our own sub-economy in crypto by low entry, good percentage staking coins.
Check out how the value of my coins have done compared to others:
Truckcoin, VersionCoin, Healthyworm, Chess, Compound, and Bottlecaps.
I don't doubt your top contenders are good coins, but they wen't pretty high. Not sure what the difficulty is in getting new stakes.

@paramind22 You spoke my mind. The top contenders in the POS field are low entry compared to BEL level entry. There several $1000s gains only a hundred-millionth share. My vision is that we YES create our own sub-economy in crypto of low entry, good/stable percentage staking coins, with healthy stable networks and communities. Right now that range of capital needs to focus on surviving thru 2019, after the next BTC pump wave, 100000s will seek the alt coins, and POS projects make good sense. In terms of inflation being rewarded to stakeholders. In terms of network economics and ecologics. The top10 list below are projects I am not wishing to join in the TALK project. They are well off on their own. But if any devs from the below projects are willing to help the TALK project, I wouldn't fuss about that. ---- 11-11-18 Round4Top10 Contenders-RDD -no thread- POT https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=426324.new#newBLK https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=469640.new#newPINK https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1905864.new#newonion https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2683530.new#newxST https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=836009.0.new#newOK https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028368.0.new#newnav https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=679791.0.new#newCLAM https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=623147.0.new#newCLOAK https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=823143.0.new#new-vrc https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=602041.0.new#new PINK on donation focus. 20 year plan https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nVNzpye-6QY
