1001  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 31, 2015, 06:07:39 AM
just another day...

already said a few times. lowered from OC to UC in january. (from 14xx to 12xx)

no, unless it went 'bad' in the 2 weeks it was switched off.

as i said, its now running as expected, but it took over 12 hours to 'ramp up' from 1 chip to 4.

if the GUI worked i'd post an img of settings...

fuckit - i'll power down & see what happens, the UI may come back.

E2A - 15 minutes later - only 2 chips & no UI...

i imagine they'll ramp up as and when they feel like it, fk knows whats wrong with the interface

2nd edit - 13 more minutes & 4 chips, no UI - tried SSHing through puTTy - Network error. Connection refused.
1002  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 31, 2015, 03:14:16 AM
i cant say as the GUI is failing to open.

but the settings are the same they have been since i lowered them, early this year.

nothing has changed, only the performance since restarting.

and now - 12+ hrs later, all 4 chips are hashing.

i did not touch/modify/alter anything.

meh
1003  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 30, 2015, 10:30:30 AM
4 hrs after power up a second chip began hashing.

5.5 hrs after that a 3rd has come online.

1004  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 30, 2015, 04:48:45 AM
EVERYthing else was eventually sorted out to my satisfaction.

it took a while and was not as smooth as i'd have liked but must be honest and I appreciate the eventualities.

as for this fk - who knows, i cant even work up the will to open her yet - i can hear it in the other room winding up & down, up & down...

i have better things to do.

1005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: May 30, 2015, 04:27:44 AM

Apropos, this could spark a major alt-coin rally as Bitcoin whales look to diversify out of Bitcoin in an attempt to find the next Bitcoin, or at least a competing coin which isn't controlled like Bitcoin.

but arent all coins open to a hostile takeover & hardfork?

what makes BTC so special here?

just that its the only coin the masses are barely aware of.

im about 30% in BTC which is still a lot for me. 30% alts & 40% 'other'

i would not feel comfortable dumping BTC for a lesser known 'same thing' just cheaper.

or am i thinking about it wrong?
1006  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: May 30, 2015, 03:58:58 AM
After a 2 week SP20 shutdown with NO movement, NO manipulation AT ALL. merely switched off at the plug.

only 1 chip is hashing.

there is no visible damage to the headers, so i am stumped.

will open her up today but hardly care at all - just saying these rigs arent all that great.

non-believers, feel free to sling 'mud'

unless BTC begins an incredible rise again.

i can imagine more people willing to jump aboard if they expect it to triple their worth...

but yes, fear & force are the usual tools of control.

1008  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: -- The Riddle of the Twin Brothers - Who Were, Are and Will Rule the World! on: May 28, 2015, 12:52:23 AM
i think a good question might be;

what would make YOU (me, i, we, us) abandon cash for a tool of the fascists?

i heard a day or 2 ago that the rouble 'crashed' something like 70% against the USD recently.

if/how that is true it would have the desired effect in the russian market - so are we really all in for a global economic crash?

i'm actually getting a bit nervous now - and considering a significant relocation program within the next 3-6 months...

The worst outcome i can see is me dragging my happy family into the arms of the oppressor/s...

etc
1009  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [UNO] Unobtanium Info & Discussion - Update to 0.10 Wallet on: May 27, 2015, 09:59:55 AM
Uno dumped cheap for XRP. 40% of today's volume.

I'd say: thank you, farewell and good luck with those cripple ... errrr .... ripple, sorry.  Cheesy

Little special info on the side for those reading the Uno thread: on polo you can currently get up to 2% daily on lending certain coins in case you have some coins sitting in a wallet which you intend to hold longterm you can aswell offer them to the margin traders and shorters for decent rates.
#justsayin'
 Wink

Are they safe?

E2A - UNO doesnt appear to be one of the certain coins....

2nd edit - is UNO even on that exchange?!

Retro is right, this thread has been filled with loudmouthed fuckwits since 2012.

the ones who repeat themselves and wear us down with gibberish are the worst offenders.

but it really is best to leave them to it - you'll only give yourself an aneurism trying to use logic among the 'special'

(also, 'they' are the ones who make the most noise when the self-respecting among us try to do the right thing)

adios, snitches!!

100% agree with PatMan!

it should have been a smooth transition, not a mess.

but being a complete codetard, all i can do is wait for official updates.

Also would like to see something basic for other codetards like me to learn from (ala what FK said - a step-by-step instruction, or a script of some sort ) and/or practice with.

I have been really busy in these days. I am just noticing today (on coinmarketcap) an unusual upward movement of several altcoins. Am I missing something? What is going on? Another pumping time?

I read yesterday 'the chinese' are soaking up a load of older alts.

maybe on the UNO thread..

China is on a buying spree of older ALTs ... QRK, ZET, WDC, MEC, ANON, IFC ... wonder if they would like a slightly more secure network than IFC running in the kH/s? UNO has got 1000 TH/s

Seems China has a taste for matured coins Wink

Do you have a source that led you to this opinion?  Or is this just trollbox chatter?

yes have sauce ...

1018  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 10, 2015, 11:20:02 AM
Sent them an email. Waiting on a response.
Hopefully I hear something tomorrow.

This may be a blessing in disguise. I was about to transfer a good portion of my savings into BFX.
If there is a glitch then at least the loss was minimal. Instead of loosing everything.
I received an email back a minute ago saying they have put the money back into my account.

Heads up for everyone on BFX. They said there is a glitch that made incorrect charges on a few accounts.
I know this was happening yesterday and the day before.
I wonder what could be causing it

Anyone know what could be going on?

They are upgrading their software...

they are cashing out and running off..... (hell its what I would do)

we know
