1021  Economy / Economics / Re: Goverments must have good plan very soon on: December 01, 2023, 07:03:49 PM

if there is the need to provide government will send money to the people but doing it regularly will make them dependent on such and they will just lie. The government always does this as this is their purpose as to olive under their house.

UBI as how they call this to support everyone.  a group of poor men with nothing but an empty stomach can revolt against the country and they will replace the government with martial law. its going to end up that way if the current government is not caring.
1022  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Stand with Dublin and ireland on: December 01, 2023, 03:46:13 PM

It's not a good idea to start riots for such small incidents. No one's even dead yet.
Europeans should wait for the larger ones, they'll now have many.

5 people were stabbed including 3 children by an unhinged immigrant. I don’t think that’s a small incident.

https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2023/11/23/europe/violent-clashes-dublin-ireland-stabbing/index.html

I wondered what was the context behind OP post, I guess this is a very good clarification. Ireland it is a very lovely country, there is no doubt about it, it is sad this is happening there, regardless of the nationality and legal status of those who committed the crime.
Though, it is obvious this news will become very relevant since it is going to be pushed forward by certain media within the right political spectrum.
I get there could be bad people among immigrant, there is bad people everywhere, but we should not generalize and stigmatize a whole population of people because the actions of a few of them. Just my opinion.

the Irish are stirred by the 80,000 Ukrainian refugees cause it turned out according to some media some are criminals. they are conscious about the immigrants but the fact that the authorities know the attacker is immigrant, the media did not report that it was an immigrant.

conor seems to have put himself in trouble because of his tweets regarding this rion incident in Dublin. the Ireland government even wants his tweets deleted but Elon is also fighting back. conor was investigated by the police already for someone from the rightwing hailed him leader because Ireland is at war as conor claimed.
1023  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: What I would do if I owned a bitcoin mixing service on: December 01, 2023, 03:28:58 PM

mixers are banned in promoting here? i thought Theymos only said Sinbad is not banned because it was caught mixing coins from hackers but not all.

With this, I will continue promoting my service on this forum, no longer as a bitcoin mixer, but as an innocent bitcoin wallet, meanwhile, hidden inside the wallet is a bitcoin mixing service.

like wasabi. someone said it wasn't considered a mixer. but coinjoin was considered illegal to use in some countries to which your service if caught the attention of authorities would also be deemed illegal.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: CASHOUT OR NOT???? on: December 01, 2023, 03:09:08 PM
since you are winning i think you can just wait til it's over and take the N697,714 instead. cashout option is good if you are losing and to prevent from losing more, the cashout option free to hit. is the game still on?

but it's still an option for you, it all depends on you. after all, you are already winning, 362,000 is still a win. 458USD afaik is already a big amount in Nigeria but double that amount is bigger.
1025  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is your ideal altcoin? on: November 30, 2023, 08:35:42 PM
One that people fairly work on all the time. It's really nothing other than that, it doesn't matter if it is pow or pos, it doesn't matter if it's anything, I just want some devs that really want to build something, approach the project with an idea, and want to turn that idea into execution and have something good. If they are like that, they will not scam you and they will use every ounce of money they get into building something decent. If they can do that then it means we are talking about something that will be profitable one way or another.

Even in a case where something like that doesn't make a profit, it is still fair and they did not stole my money, they tried their best and they wanted to succeed even more than I did as an investor, and they just failed, it wasn't meant to be. This is why those type of investments are always awesome, I think it turns the situation into something that could make it quite entertaining to see and make a profit of.

there seem to have lots of these altcoins that you are describing with higher prices down to cents.
but they are still not close to what Doge has achieved over time. from building the community to having a coin with a use case and most important of all it is listed in all markets.

if the creation of altcoins were just going to be regulated, the launching of altcoins would have stopped already because of the massive scam that is happening. anyway, it's open-source so it's their right.
1026  Economy / Services / Re: [CFNP] MegaPari Review Campaign Round#3 | Reward $30 on: November 30, 2023, 07:13:04 PM

My Megapari Review
My Megapari ID: 736107377

Nothing special about my registration but it's quite fast as I am using my email and it only needs to be activated through the link sent to my email.

Too early for me to avail myself of the bonus to get a 100% deposit bonus every Friday as I deposited mine this Tuesday, Nov 28 but this is an ongoing bonus that is recurring every Friday. So maybe I can do that later if I don't win my bets so I would need to deposit again. Depositing can be done in 38 ways 25 of them are for crypto deposits and the rest are e-wallets and bank transfers. The majority of the cryptocurrencies that are accepted are just stablecoins either TRC20, BEP20, ERC, ADA, SOL, and AVAX to which their L1 tokens are of course welcome.

I tried betting on sports and I find it hard to see the matches because the list of boxing matches is on the sidebar, we need to click the match to view the odds and all options. This is where I find a little hard to navigate. Maybe remove the left sidebar because those links are also found on top.

In this image, the ones I circled I find it hard to see which fighter has these odds until I hoover my mouse which in less than a second the names sort of peep. I think they should immediately flash it all when we click a sport and just easy to see them all on the big page.

Here I bet just $3, hoping to see a Decision just to gamble.

So many casino games in this casino somehow some are just redundant games. The solitaire games seem fun, there are still the sexy queens but the fun part is that if you can't complete the cards, there's a button above that says "Give Up". I might try the Scratch card and the Bingo games soon.

The other game I played was Instant Roulette, seems easy to win since you can pick more numbers as by default every bet costs just 0.05 USD. I tried that naughty Vietnamese Bacarrat Banker, I lost without knowing what to do I got confused with her hands dancing around and I got distracted by what she was wearing.

Withdrawal in MegaPari

Well, I tried withdrawing as little of what I have not spent but got rejected. Megapari is different from what I understood because the withdrawal was rejected and at that period a popup chat came out so I inquired about the rejection and here's what they said.

Quote
Hello! Sorry for waiting. Your withdrawal of x.xx USDT got rejected because the security department reserves the right to decline withdrawal requests if deposit or withdrawal amount(s) do not correspond to the stakes of bets placed (to be able to withdraw funds the deposit amount must be wagered in full in bets with odds of at least 1.1). Criteria for withdrawal approval is the amount of bets placed within the deposit in question. First of all, note that you only can withdraw funds with the same payment method that you used to make a deposit. Secondly, you must place bets with stakes which add up to the sum of all deposits and the bets must have odds of at least 1.1. Shortly, in order for you to make a successful withdrawal, you should withdraw funds consistent with your previous amounts of bets. More about the rules you can learn via this link https://megapari.com/en/information/rules/terms/7

Can't say something else more than this after all I have not filled in my name. If anyone tried withdrawing and successfully did it then maybe it's just me.

Anyway, navigating around the casino is quite easy for gamblers since we all have been in different betting platforms. For the newbies, they might get lost. I think collapsing those sidebars by default will be much easier to look at the site, less distraction.

Quote
This site is owned and operated by Vdsoft & Script Development SRL, a company registered and established under the laws of Costa Rica, with registration number 3-102-887249. Vdsoft & Script Development SRL is licensed by the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comors, and is authorised to conduct all type of gaming activities in accordance with the Betting and Gaming act of 2005 of Anjouan.

Not sure if this information helps actually because the casino is based in India and has Curacao license as what I have gathered. They did put all their Gaming Nominee awards on their footer so you might wanna check it out if you wanna be impressed.

My Overall Experience with the MegaPary
Overall I think the casino is great around 8/10. Since I'm pretty much familiar with casinos, its easy for me but for some newbies, the site may really be a labyrinth for them. All that there is to learn from Megapari is if they are here to stay and once we can see that the business will actually be successful I might just submit my application to be an agent too.
1027  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Goodbye Philippines for Binance. on: November 30, 2023, 06:26:40 PM
The Philippine government's decision through the SEC to block Binance's access is good. They operate in a country to make a profit while they are not registered there. All countries do not want this situation to continue without generating profits through Binance operations. Binance is not registered, so Binance does not pay taxes.

Blocking access to Binance could benefit local exchanges there, although I don't know for sure there is a local exchange there.
Traders who are already familiar with Binance will feel lost because Binance is a good exchange. Even though Binance is already popular, if it is not mutually beneficial, why maintain it.

Binance is wasting a significant revenue opportunity if they do not address this issue. Many Filipinos use Binance as their primary trading site, so it would be beneficial for traders if Binance were to comply with Philippine law. However, if Binance chooses to remain quiet, I believe there is still a solution to access the exchange by using a VPN service. Changing the IP address through a VPN would make it difficult for the ISP to block it.

Nevertheless, we should also be aware of the risks, as using a different IP from a different location might lead to problems with our Binance account. It's advisable to investigate first and determine the most viable option to continue using the trading service.

nothing is ever considered non-negotiable though. in 3 months there will be a lot of things to talk about. the philippine government wouldn't provide such a length of time for binance to reach out and maybe discuss stuff. eventually, they can come up with something to agree on.

binance is one of the riches in crypto, most probably the biggest which $4B is nothing to them.

Or will the new CEO Richard Teng will do something about it to turn things around para satin mga nag ta-trade sa Binance?

Would really appreciate mga opinions nyo dito guys. Salamat.

Pero chances are very slim dahil naka receive daw pushback from regulators and consumer groups.

Sa tingin ko kasi yung SEC PH starts acting like SEC US na. Binance would be the first at mag create ito unti2x ng domino effect sa ibang unregistered foreign-owned CEXs.

Crypto will never be the same na in the next few years dahil unti2x na nag tighten ang regulations dito sa Pinas which nangin few steps backward na tayo instead of moving forward to innovate.

1031  Economy / Economics / Re: strange indicators to know economy is bad on: November 30, 2023, 04:42:47 AM
those are all indeed strange indicators but I guess when economy is getting worst and worst by the day anything related to being consumtive would definitely decrease, its not necessarily all these strange indexes but anything that cause you to pay bill you will reduce it, therefore it might be better to call it reduction of money circulation around the people when economy getting worst because people are not eager to spend money in difficult times.
I even have found some strange indicator as well like when the economy was bad, so few people are actually going to some restaurant but instead going to kfc and mcdonalds because their cheap junk food are the best at difficult times.
the restaurant are becoming irrelevant because people think of it as unnecessary when you can find something to fill your belly for few dollars why come to restaurant and empty your wallets.
It is even worse than that, it is not that people have money and they are refusing to spend it, people simply do not have money and they need to learn how to make more with less, since they are not paid the same as before and everything is more expensive.

And it makes sense that restaurants as a whole are one of the first sectors to be affected by an economic crisis, after all restaurants sell their dishes for a price many times higher than what they paid themselves for the ingredients to make the food, and when people have to cut costs, eating at a restaurant is one of the first expenses to go, since you can eliminate it and replace it by just cooking your own food.

even bigmac meal today according to the recent news will also cost $18.  https://nypost.com/2023/07/19/mcdonalds-branch-slammed-for-charging-18-for-a-big-mac-meal/
they are still operating though which is a good thing for this fastfood restaurant, they said it's because they also approved the increase in the minimum wage of its workers.

you'd still be lucky if you could buy and cook. i learned from my cousins they were already planning to just go fishing and keep even the small size fish. it's illegal but gotta do what they gotta do.

1032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 30, 2023, 04:08:21 AM
^^ I guess you have to follow their social media, specially Inoue as he posted some of his trainings and sparrings, not that much on Tapales though. Maybe he just want to remain private, but obviously he has been training very hard for this.

Yeah, why not? maybe Tapales will have enough stamina to go full 12 rounds, uses his skills, being awkward to caught Inoue off guard and score points.

Or maybe Inoue just waking up in the wrong side of the belt? Anything can happen and if you bet on the underdog then it could be one of your biggest wins this year?

I like the way he will try to score points rather than trying to exchange punches against the monster,
knowing how Inoue beat all his opponents when getting that chance to KO them

For sure it will also happen to Tapales unless he gets his lucky counter punch and brings Inoue down.
Like you said, anything is possible and we don't know if what Tapales is doing to improve not only

his stamina but everything in his skills to gain that chance of winning the fight.

tapales knocking out inoue while in his prime will definitely make Tapales' name be remembered throughout Inoue's career. a slim shot and even if tapales loses, he is going to get credits for it. i've always wanted to see a super underdog suddenly win over a big fish and unify a title.

the one thing that is to look at is inoue is also tireless. most of his fights end in less than 6 rounds but he can survive still agile even up to 12 rounds and still extends his reach to hit his opponent.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sometimes betting is just ridiculous. Sometimes it is complete nonsense. on: November 29, 2023, 08:02:32 PM
i looked it up on Stake, there is none of this on their list. it's fake.
betting platform knows this is gonna be controversial to list such a thing. presidential candidates are okay or something like oscar awards is fun. even if he meant it as a joke to get followers, it's not morally right to do this regardless of which side he is betting. but damn he is supported by his followers seeing it got a lot of views with 152,431 likes.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: November 29, 2023, 06:45:55 PM
Because
Sleep dreams that the tendency to suddenly become rich Cry

This is not really normal because meme coin is more dangerous in this crypto market. They always collect money from investors by showing amazing attractive offers. In reality their project does not last long in the market because most of the team members of meme coin are new generation and they have less experience. They are coming to the market only to grab the investor capital completely.

I agree with you that meme coin can make you rich quickly and we have the risk of losing our capital, therefore if we are not ready for the risk, then it is better for us to forget about investing in meme coin, because it will only make us stressed, therefore if you want to invest in meme coin, then I have several suggestions, that is
1. Don't use all our money (5-10% of our capital is enough to invest in meme coin)
2. Invest in meme coin that are currently hype, because meme coin that are currently hype, the price can increase very high quickly
3. When you get a profit, sell it immediately and don't hope that with capital of $100, you can get $1,000,000 (only 1:100,000 can make that happen), so don't be greedy

just buy some but don't take it seriously like putting all your eggs to it.

memecoins like doge or shib are the top memecoins. chances of them going up in the bullrun is still unsure but i'm more positive that the price will also rise because of high volume.

there is really no need for anyone to buy memecoins, but if you like the fun part of having them is that you can gamble them like you are not losing because you already consider them garbage until you accumulate millions and millions of them.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We should start looking into Altcoins on: November 29, 2023, 06:22:54 PM
The only problem is how to pinpoint what altcoin will increase next. It's true that they might pour their profits into Altcoins like how it was years ago because this is how making profits is but it actually doesn't stay that way for a long time. Once Bitcoin plunged down next it sold those Altcoin to buy Bitcoin back.
But I don't think that's now. The FOMO is high in Bitcoin because of the upcoming ETF and then there's the halving. I mean, what is a year to us investors, it will be like waking up the next day and it's already a year. Time flies fast and while they can ride the boat at this price, many investors will use their purchasing power to make a profit when ETF is approved.
It's not bad to buy a little bit of those altcoins that you mentioned, just be sure that you are also ready when Bitcoin starts pumping.

That's the million dollar question. According to Solidus Rug Pull Report from 2022 there were already 350 new scam tokens released daily and amount was only growing so who knows how many there are today.

So when picking the token, i often thought that i should stay away from old small caps as they were most likely long died projects. And i should either invest to mid/high caps or low caps with ton of active development, enough funding left.
But especially old small caps that would have any future are rare to find and don't necessarily raise with the rest of the bull run. So i thought i should invest to new coins and tokens instead. Those often raise from nothing and get fomo for no real reason. But they do often get gains before collapsing. But solidus report confirms something most of us knew, that changes to find new rising star from all the scams are slim to none

when the old small caps don't die and turn into a scam, they are still going to gain investors when new investor of crypto sees the price increase. it's the nature of a bull run since the price of altcoins relies on BTC price, whenever BTC prices go high so are their prices which attracts investors looking for profit. for them, they are all rising stars.

the worse part is that they use BTC to buy those altcoins which means they sold their BTC for these altcoins.
1036  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of war on global economy. on: November 29, 2023, 05:43:23 PM
Parties to a conflict can always read the worst impacts if a conflict occurs, namely the high risk of loss of civilian lives. However, what is interesting here is that if a country wants to be safe from threats from outside, it needs a strong military force and if at any time a conflict occurs then this needs to be done immediately as an action whose negative impact is smaller than other potential dangers that will arise by the opposing party.
Quote
if a country wants to be safe from threats from outside, it needs a strong military force
This statement is true, it's just that having a strong military force without a good sense of humanity, in my opinion, all of this will be in vain because a prolonged conflict begins with greed without paying attention to humanity.

a country wouldn't be able to have a strong military force if they are sanctioned financially that's why it's necessary for countries who dominate to make those countries poor so they can't fight back. and for that to happen they enforce political intervention in those poor countries.

humanity will be ignored when existential threats are high. israel for example will not stop especially now that they are into deep in this situation for if they do stop, they will also perish. now compare it to other countries at war this time because they are all in such situation.
1037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think that this is aperfect analogy of how gambling addiction starts? on: November 29, 2023, 05:11:31 PM

basically, it's still the dopamine that activates the addiction just as what he said about people checking the price of BTC and ETH the very time they wake up in the morning.  does Andreas also check the prices the first chance he gets when he wakes up? Cheesy  looks like he really knows what catches the attention of his followers.

i don't look at it that way though when a person gambles for the first time, they also become happy especially when they win. but i don't see this person gonna be addicted unless he comes back over and over.
1038  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not this guy on: November 29, 2023, 03:56:51 PM
A gambler is addicted to gambling and he realizes it yet he does not want to believe that he is addicted to gambling. I have seen gamblers who bet from two accounts on the same match, one for and one against, and he lost money on most of his bets. After each loss he says he will never gamble again but whenever the next match starts he bets again. Gambling is bad for those who are addicted to gambling but gambling is good for those who can control themselves.

The person you have heard about is a gambling addict, because he is a gambling addict, if you tell him anything about gambling, he will not believe it and he himself will not believe that he is a gambling addict.

It is difficult for gamblers to gamble without becoming addicted to gambling, most gamblers become addicted to gambling although some gamblers can recover from that addiction.

still in denial just as some kids that are addicted to social media tend not to mind not logging into their account for an hour but give it a couple and they are going to look for ways to connect their phones to a wifi somewhere.

they may actually say they are not addicted because it's what they believe. but you can see them calling their gambling friends just so they can play mahjong and stay up all night for it. one that i notice about them is that they are well aware of the cheats.

so many airdrops i missed as well.  but there are some that i found out that have just recently been launching. lots of giveaways in this page https://toneco.tonup.io/
