I have also verified the signed message but as shasan stated, without a date being added (and maybe mentioning the URL of this thread) it does not mean much. Call it the curiosity of Bitcointalk detectives if it pleases you  Grin

The OP was concerned therefore created the thread, had you responded to him this thread would have been unnecessary. Imagine, going through all this hassle including replying in this thread but ignoring this post. Can you add your perspective?

1042  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: October 06, 2023, 12:56:30 PM
Say goodbye to your funds. First you get scammed by cryptopia, then you get scammed by liquidators and finally, if court accepts this point, you get scammed by NZ judicial system.
This saga has been dragged out for far too long. At the end of the day, investors have lost money and all they want is to get it back. Some investors will not give their identify for KYC therefore those funds can be recycled back to the recovered funds pot and be used towards those that will give KYC. Instead, all we here is more drama from the liquidators and Courts.

There should be a limit as to how much any liquidator or administrator is allowed to take for themselves because there is not an endless pit of Cryptopia funds. They are still trying to recover funds and the costs associated are simply going to take away a large amount of victims compensations whenever they will be made.
1043  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 06, 2023, 12:51:18 PM
There does not seem to be hype surrounding the fight as it should have been. Is it because Wilder was a bigger proposition that people could not stop talking about the trilogy for a long time? Or is it because Ngannou is deemed to be an easy fight because he is not really a professional boxer. If they added bigger names to the undercard, would the hype have been bigger.

This fight does not seem to have the same feel as Fury fighting Wilder (or a potential future bout with Usyk). At the beginning of the announcement of the Ngannou fight there was interest across the media but that subsided.

The undercard is actually pretty good. Much better than most and the all heavyweight card adds a little extra meat to it.

Perplex05, you have flooded the thread on numerous occasions over the past few days. I think you had a collection of posts removed by moderators after they have been reported therefore why do you keep flooding? It is obvious your posts will be removed again and maybe with it a ban too.

If the Bustabit owner does not want you to play on his website, you should try any of the clones available. Flooding here will not yield benefit therefore kindly refrain.
1045  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 09:24:26 PM
Like any bounty manager, irfan_pak10 can only relay what he is being told and that is understandable. It is not in his hands to dictate when bounties are released if project managers keep pushing the date back therefore the participants should be aware of this caveat and be patient. The OP seems to have been impatient if he is a participant who is using the account to hide his other/real account or even he is not a participant and is using the account for nefarious purposes.

After having a quick look at the first and second pages of that bounty thread, what stands out is the number of newbies. I gave up and did not check the rest of the pages but the numbers of newbies in the Combo bounty thread are high (or maybe regular considering it is a bounty thread). I know it becomes off-topic but I understand your perspective when you state it is not always about ethics. There are some less fortunate people wanting a better life for themselves and for their families which is the driving factor for their participation.

A very high number of your bounty hunters are from undeveloped regions of the world. They are trying to do anything to make a better life for themselves and their family. Not always ethical things, but that's a story for another day. If they join 100 bounties and 10 paid out, they still made a few bucks is how they look at it. Not to mention, they prob have 15 accounts in each bounty.

Getting on topic, Irfan can only tell people what he is told. Nothing he can do to speed the process up.

Feel free to individually quote and individually reply to each quote to as many members as you want within your post, as that is acceptable.

Some members are quoting 4+ members in their unnecessary walls of text and then making a two line post to reach their signature campaign targets to earn their fees and it is not acceptable in this thread.

1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 05, 2023, 05:09:30 PM
If certainly would have had an impact on the hype if the names on the undercard were famous or popular fighters, that does not seem to be the case here. They should have had a bigger undercard. After this drama is over and I think Fury will be doing himself a complete injustice if he does not get in the ring to fight Usyk with the prize on the line being all of the heavyweight titles. Usky will also regret it if the fight does not go ahead. The public want it therefore a solution should be found. That fight would not need a big undercard.

Maybe because the undercards are not so popular. Only Fury and Ngannou are pretty much known. There are a few like Artin Bakole and Makhmudov but basically, all are HW fights yet but there are also unconfirmed.

1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2023/2024 on: October 05, 2023, 04:36:22 PM
These are the next set of Premier League games taking place on Saturday 7th October 2023:

Luton Town vs Tottenham Hotspur
Burnley vs Chelsea
Everton vs Bournemouth
Fulham vs Sheffield United
Manchester United vs Brentford
Crystal Palace vs Nottingham Forest

Can Luton Town make it a second win at the expense of Tottenham and would it really be that hard to believe that Manchester United will lose at home to Brentford? Ten Hag seems to be on his way towards unemployment. What would the odds be for all six games to be away win?
1050  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 04:25:17 PM
I do not know anything about this Combo project, but what makes you think they actually have a reputation to protect, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying that i know for sure that they aren't going to pay bounty participants, but what i know is that bounty projects fail to pay their bounty participants more often than not. What makes Combo a large and reputable project?
This was concluded through the leading partners that the Combo project cooperated with within its Ecosystem and its vast communities on social media sites. COMBO currency is listed on many of the top exchange platforms. Do you think that if the combo project did not have a reputation, clear goals, and a track record of achievements, would its applications for listing on these exchange platforms be accepted?

You can check out their documents, website, CMC, and social media, and you can finally judge whether this project is large and has a reputation or not:

[1] https://combonetwork.io/
[2] https://docs.combonetwork.io/introduction/overview
[3] https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/combo-network/
As for your (and our) conclusion, you are right it will ultimately depend on how they conduct themselves with regards to the bounties. If they keep their word they will retain their reputation. Having said that, the thread title (labelling irfan_pak10 a scammer) is wrong and is not warranted.

My conclusion does not mean that I am defending them; this is just what I discovered about them, and their success in distribution and payment in the end is what will determine whether my conclusion is correct or wrong.
The ball is effectively in the court of the Combo team. Hopefully, the participants will receive their bounties this month.

The OP is aware of that, he knows the bounty manager has no control over when the tokens for distribution will be released.
If he is aware of that, why he created this thread in the first place and accused him of being a scammer? He obviously knows shit.
The AI detected account is new but the person pulling the strings is not new, he knows his way around the forum and seems to be created for nefarious reasons. At first I suspect the account was created by a disgruntled bounty participant but now think it could be related to him having a personal dislike for the project or bounty manager (or both).
1051  Economy / Reputation / Re: I believe this account is handled by someone else on: October 05, 2023, 03:43:09 PM
I am not sure it is as simple as that. The account has woken up after more than three years of inactivity and there is the case that the OP has been unable to contact the creator of the account and that has been out of character. If the current operator of the alani123 account is the original creator, they would easily be able to confirm the mobile number (or other mode of contact) they used to chat with the OP.

So someone woke up and ignored you, so you automatically jump to conclusions the account has changed hands.

Is that the sum of your "proof" ??

Which members  Roll Eyes
You, me or whoever (including RapTarX if need be) Roll Eyes

It is wise for people to wait patiently, and a large project like this is unlikely to refrain from paying in the end and lose its reputation easily.
Well, we do not know what will happen in the future regarding payments but you are right participants should at least have patience. I would advise unhappy participants to explore options with the bounty manager via PM before creating what essentially could end up being unnecessary threads. There is no need to take a premature decision.

What makes Combo a large and reputable project?
The issue about reputation of the project is intricate to bounty participation. You have a point, we do not not anything about how reputable Combo or come to think of it any other project might be therefore it stands to reason by far the majority of those participating in bounties are pinning their participation on bounty managers giving them their rewards. I have seen threads where bounties were not paid to the bounty manager and in those cases how much blame can be attributed to them if they are not paid? In many cases, none.

If the projects tie in their bounty program the release of various token at a future date, there is not much anybody can do but those participating would have known the rules before signing up therefore some patience will be expected/required in some cases. From what I can see, the bounty manager in this case has done nothing wrong and updates participants when he gets information from the project team.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou Boxing October 28 on: October 05, 2023, 03:09:00 PM
It seems the hype surrounding this fight has not subsided but for some reason I just do not think it is as big as it was when it was first announced. There is no disrespect intended to Fury or Ngannou but when it was announced I was eager to watch, I still want to watch the fight when it takes place but that is still another 24 days away.

Anything related to the fight is hardly making rounds in the news either. Maybe the hype in the media will pick up again when there are just a few days before the event.
1054  Economy / Reputation / Re: "TakeItEasy" Probably Changed hands/Bought/Hacked on: October 05, 2023, 12:25:40 PM
There is now an all too familiar connection with accounts that have a dubious history or conduct, yet they find themselves participating in campaigns operated by a particular campaign manager. The WO thread, mentions of pizzas, flooding the Save Your Merits thread along with posting in a particular local board form part of the connection. Newbies or lower rank members posting in Reputation of all places drawing attention to themselves is also on the increase.

You do question motives when what appears to be one alt-account starts posting/complaining about what appears to be another alt-account (or sold/traded) when it brings attention to their own account.

The OP is most likely an alt account who knows where to get merit, first the WO, local Bengali, and now this Reputation thread. Not to say he is breaking any rules but with this data he has already put himself in the eyes of the DTs. He wouldn't be the first to show up here and get scalded by red tags. As for the TakeItEasy account changing hands, if it becomes clear can get him some red tags, because although not all DTs agree, there are always others who end up painting their profile.
1055  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 12:11:22 PM
I think every bounty manager has a disclaimer posted that they will have no control over the decisions of the project’s movements and plans especially the token distribution. As a hunter you should always be aware and acknowledging the risks like this.

I’ve participated in some projects being managed by irfan_pak10 back in the past and I’ve got no problem with that. But I think the best practice for bounty managers and projects is to put these allocated tokens to an escrow service for transparency purposes.

The decisions of the project like COMBO is something that irfan_pak10 can’t control because the final say will always be in the project itself.
If memory serves correct there was a time when bounty managers could (or did) take payments in advance using BTC or ETH but that was around the time when the ICO craze was at a peak. Also, when projects stopped paying in advance the release of bounties was usually locked in to the distribution of tokens after they were released. It is safer for bounty managers and participants to have some sort of guarantee/escrow but that would mean non-project tokens therefore project owners could be reluctant to go down that route.

Take some time to read OP before replying then. This is what OP said. When he said irfan_pak10 will pay the hunters, it means he doesn't know who will pay.
And just to confirm you that part of my response was to Rikafip (in case you can't see what is what)
Read the context of the replies when members put forward their views.
1056  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: October 05, 2023, 11:49:58 AM
All the recent posts you made to flood this thread have been deleted by moderators therefore ask yourself why waste your time. If you will not be allowed to play at Bustabit why not take the advice of the previous member and simply go to the identical moneypot.com website and play the crash game there? The reasons you gave for trying to get back solely on Bustabit are not justified, you should consider going to a competitor then forget about Bustabit and this thread.

Why is it so hard for you to forget that website, never deposit there and use another websites?
There's a number of reasons

Bustabit has cultivated a very specific type of community over the years its existed which is impossible for other sites to replicate. Half the fun of bustabit is reading the chat.

Also trust factor. I've played on bustabit for years so I know, and can trust it. Ive seen and played a million rounds so I know how it works, and it also has one of the lowest house edges out there.
1057  Economy / Reputation / Re: irfan_pak10 is a scammer on: October 05, 2023, 11:41:08 AM
irfan_pak10 first tell  he will pay Combo bounty in October and now he scamming bounty participants

https://t.me/Officialbountyportal/1/127689

take notice on this scammer
It seems as though you are exaggerating. As far as reputation is concerned, it seems as though irfan_pak10 has no valid allegations in his trust history to suggest he is a scammer. If he is managing a bounty and has no control over the COMBO tokens (as bounty managers usually have to wait for the owners of projects to release bounties) therefore you calling him a scammer is somewhat harsh.

First of all, who was supposed to distribute tokens, irfan_pak10 or Combo team?
Most of the times, it's the project team and same here in the case of Combo too. Irfan_pak10 has nothing to do with the bounty distribution. He just has shared the promise he got from the team. That's how it works in most cases.

I request OP to check out whether the bounty rewards is in escrow or not + whether the gas fee for the distribution has been shared by team or not, before participating. I had cases like this. Team shared me the rewards but haven't sent me the gas fee which later caused a huge chaos at the end. I was waiting for team to send the gas fee, participants were asking questions everyday lol.
The OP is aware of that, he knows the bounty manager has no control over when the tokens for distribution will be released.

If these campaigns are plagued with non payment as a couple of the previous posters have alluded to, then why do CM take on the job *without* securing funds to pay the campaign participants?
I think what normally happens is for payment to be made from the actual tokens when they are released. The days of bounty managers taking payments in advance using Bitcoin seem a long time ago.

So In the last message they wanted until next week as they are talking to higher authorities and will come to us with a final decision. I conveyed this message in the telegram group.
I hope the OP will have some patience after reading your post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5449154.msg62741075#msg62741075

1059  Economy / Reputation / Re: TheSpiral account is either bought or hacked, 10 years of absence from the forum on: October 04, 2023, 09:35:50 AM
Not specific to this case but it is also possible that one puppeteer controls a number of accounts. If they deem it their right to sign up to campaigns on the basis they paid to buy accounts or took time to build rank, you cannot change their mindset. By far the majority of these accounts that get caught are not just a one-off they part of an account farm.

Leaving aside for a moment whether TheSpiral is being truthful or not, he stated he purchased his account in 2015 therefore before the merit system. I asked for discussion to agree consensus as to when tagging sold/purchased accounts would be deemed acceptable without raising controversy but there was no clear position agreed Tagging Accounts Sellers And Tagging Traded/Sold/Bought Accounts

The days of buying old accounts to try to pass off new tokens and coins as legitimate, are in the past. It is specifically about signature campaigns and with that the possibility of DT infiltration of nefarious actors. Also, if the puppeteer controls one account and profits from it, why not expand the process to as many accounts as they can control.

For a long time, people would buy established accounts for the sake of promoting a new coin or token - which were often scams - to make it looks like reputable members of the forum were endorsing them. This is originally why some DT considered the act of purchasing an account to be redtag-worthy.

Nowadays people buy these accounts mainly for the purpose of enrolling in a signature campaign. They take the earnings they have made from sig campaigns and re-invest them in the purchase of a second, third, fourth or fifth account. So I highly doubt this member is at all "new." They probably have multiple accounts currently enrolled in campaigns.

Do you think if they are "only" going to participate in signature campaigns they are not worth the red tag? Or maybe just a neutral tag? If they want to do it honestly they can build up an alt account, but that takes time without getting money for writing. I would say that if they are able to get enough merits, and nowadays it is not that difficult with the number of review threads and that are offered, also forum members like The Skeptical Chemist, in about 8 months they can start getting paid with Mr Member rank. There doesn't seem to be a lack of campaigns lately either. I think it is very benevolent to assume that they are "only" going to participate in signature campaigns when they are bypassing the merit system.

1060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ [POLL] FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 on: October 03, 2023, 10:15:52 PM
These are the results from the games played today:

1. FC Union Berlin 2-3 Braga
Red Bull Salzburg 0-2 Real Sociedad
FC Copenhagen 1-2 Bayern Munich
Inter Milan 1-0 Benfica
Manchester United 2-3 Galatasaray
Napoli 2-3 Real Madrid
PSV Eindhoven 2-2 Sevilla
RC Lens 2-1 Arsenal

Napoli vs Real Madrid was a good game. The €103 million Real Madrid paid to Borussia Dortmund seems as though it is money well spent. When looking at add-ons and bonuses Borussia Dortmund will receive an additional €30 million. He scored again today.

@JollyGood tonight is a massive game for Manchester United because we all know that failure to proceed to the next round means a huge financial loss and the Glazers hate losing money thus a defeat here could put Ten Hag closer to getting the sack. However I yet feel that Manchester United can turn it around and the injuries are not helping at all but I do believe that Ten Hag has improved this squad and therefore there’s yet hope for Manchester United.
Who would have thought both Arsenal and Manchester United would lose their games today? Ten Hag looks as though he has lost the dressing room and should probably leave the club within the next few weeks. Arsenal took the lead but ended up losing the game but they have a win and three points in their group while Manchester United have lost both games and have zero points.
