Up until now Ethereum is still mostly vaporware. There are many interesting things you can do with smart contracts but it's still mostly scams, pump and dump tokens, monkey jpgs and stuff like that. There was a lot of marketing and hype surrounding the merge but now that it actually happened there is nothing useful to do for most people besides speculating on price.

The yields on staking stablecoins usually tend to be really low. In Terra's case they had billions of dollars from the Luna Foundation to subsidize higher yields for a while until it collapsed. Some decentralized exchanges will incentivize you with their own native token to increase yields but those tokens usually dump hard and that extra APY will be reduced so much it is not worth it to stake stablecoins. If you only care about APY then centralized exchanges will be the better option in the long run.

We know Greenpeace was taking money from Ripple for their anti-Bitcoin propaganda campaign. They are not arguing in good faith and are undermining what they're about when they take bribes from those looking to promote their altcoins. Greenpeace used to accept Bitcoin so they are fully aware of it's benefits. They only decided to start caring about the environmental impact when they started receiving millions of dollars to promote proof-of-stake.

ETC has very little developer activity so it is unrealistic that it will take over.
Centralized staking services such as Coinbase face the highest risk of being regulated as securities. For decentralized staking you could argue that users are being compensated for providing security to the network and this does not meet the criteria of being a security.

Ethereum has been around the longest and has earned people's trust. Newer coins like Solana might be better in some regards but it has had stability issues. Every ETH competitor I have seen is incredibly centralized. BNB, SOL, and AVA all have companies who are running the network. A lot of these coins grew in popularity because of ETH's scaling issues. Once ETH starts having issues again we might see these coins start to gain market share again.

If Bitcoin reaches $1000 then I would be worried about the greater economy. Bitcoin usually follows traditional finance and we see the price go down when the stock market has a negative day or when global events cause inflation to rise. In a bad economy more people will sell their Bitcoin to pay bills or invest in in safer assets.

Canelo winning was a completely expected result. I didn't think this fight was necessary after such a long time but this fight was so profitable for promoters that they made it anyways. This fight was not very close so I don't agree with the scorecards but it was impressive to see GGG go the distance and still trying to go for a knockout when that was his only option remaining. I think GGG can still continue his career at middleweight but I would prefer if he retired before he diminishes further.

With Binance Pay users need to have a Binance account in order to make purchases from merchants. I understand they want to make a payment system that is as fast and easy as traditional payment methods but it will end up excluding most crypto users who want the freedom to use any wallet they choose and hold their own funds. There is essentially no difference between Binance Pay and every other centralized system that already exists so it just seems unnecessary and will be very low amongst people's preferred payment methods.

There is great value in having decentralized social media and content creation platforms where you aren't being arbitrarily censored for having an opinion that doesn't align with certain mainstream narratives. Having a great platform and growing user base is nice but it is not a guarantee that you will have a succesful token with significant value.

Here are the official weigh-in: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVHU44zuj48Move forward to 4:48, GGG looks huge at 168 lbs hehehe. GGG - 167.8 Canelo - 167.4 pounds So let's see if GGG moving to super middleweight and with that added extra pounds will make him perform much better in this fight. Again, it's the debate about GGG age vs Canelo prime years, gonna be a good match for sure. Golovkin looks really solid at this new weight class. The additional weight and strength should help him absorb Canelo's power punches. We will see how much he will be affected by his age. Maybe it'll be like Pacquiao vs. Marquez, where having the experience and knowledge from their previous fights will negate those disadvantages for the older fighter.

I would like to see GGG do well and make it an entertaining fight. I have to agree with the consensus that Canelo is a heavy favorite. It is not just about age. The size difference might also be a factor. Canelo has been fighting super middleweights and light heavyweights in recent years while Golovkin has remained at middleweight. Maybe if Canelo has stamina problems, GGG might find a way to win rounds but the most likely outcome in my opinion is Canelo by wide decision or perhaps even late stoppage.

though we knew Inoue is much faster and accurate against butler but yet none can assure that there will be a knock out though many of us expecting this to come as the fight is a Monster against Human here. In how many occassions Inoue had proven His ability and capacity so I am looking also for a knocking down.
It's pretty safe to assume this fight will end in a knockout. The difference in talent level is just too immense. The only real question is for how many rounds will Inoue allow Butler to survive?

I don't get why everyone is bashing on a young fighter who has a couple of fights, going against other beginner boxers. It's like they expect Jake Paul to go against Cancelo or someone, but then they'd be saying Cancelo took a easy fight. I don't think there's any winning in this, people just won't be happy regardless.
I say good on Jake. He's made a career in multiple industries, and quite frankly has the boxing purists actually wanting to watch his fights now, whether that's to route against him or not. Mayweather built a career on people wanting to see him get knocked out.
Jake Paul has been a pro for 2.5 years already. He is not just a beginner anymore. It is time to step up his level of competition beyond no-hoper washed up athletes if he wants to be treated as anything besides a freak show attraction. It's not a great sign for the state of boxing when this kind of garbage is getting so much hype and media attention.

Same here, at first I thought Silva won't have any chance but knowing and watching his fight against Chavez Jr. My point of view changes. As I remember Chavez Jr. isn't a push-over boxer with 61 professional fights and a former WBC middleweight champion from 2011 to 2012[1]. Silva did a good performance there winning a split decision. But of course, the fight can go either way, Jake Paul being young and equipped with KO punches, there is a possibility that Silva might not see the punches coming and got KO'ed by Paul. Or vice versa. If the fight ended in the judge's decision, if Silva do the same performance he did against Chavez Jr. then Silva might win the judge's decision.
[1] SourceSilva fought a very diminished version of Chavez Jr. who didn't even bother to make weight for that fight. It wasn't even a very convincing win, it was just a matter of Chavez Jr. making very little effort to get a victory. It does nothing to show us what level Anderson Silva is at. Since then his only other fight was against a washed up Tito Ortiz making his boxing debut and then he was inactive for the past 12 months. At 47 years old, very minimal boxing experience, and a long layoff I don't see any way in which Silva can win.

Why not Silva can do that he has done it against Chavez Jr and Chavez Jr is a better fighter than Jake Paul, he outlasted Chavez Jr, even though Silva is old he still has the stamina to last a full ten rounds Silva has a good resume to present against Jake Paul and he will be Jake Paul's biggest challenge, this is only rumors I'm sure those who want Jake Paul to get hurt will advice him to push through, checking the internet for a latest new and we have it https://www.essentiallysports.com/boxing-news-jake-paul-vs-anderson-silva-fight-rules-leaked/It seems that Jake Paul has finally got an opponent to face in former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva. Paul recently announced he was going to return to the squared circle on October 29th. Silva was then confirmed as his opponent according to reports by TMZ and MMA Fighting. The version of Chavez Jr. that fought Silva is in no way better than Jake Paul. I don't really consider Anderson Silva to be a step up from Woodley and any of the non-boxers that Jake Paul has faced. The only reason for fighting Silva is because he has a name that can sell. This fight will not do anything to legitimize Jake Paul as a serious boxer.

It's also a shame freebitco.in is blacklisted in Twitter and spotted as malicious website. I don't know if people responsible for virtual security sector does it on purpose or if the site is simply blacklisted because there is too much advertisement and spam involving its links due to the referral program which is quite popular in every paid to click and micro earnings sites. Before this exclusion from social medias, freebitco.in's links were very popular in Facebook and Twitter too. I believe there could be many more active users if it wasn't for this kind of annoying obstacle.
On the other hand, it's interesting real scam websites, projects and schemes aren't so efficiently blocked by those security mechanisms.
The site has been getting flagged by anti-malware software ever since they had the option to mine Monero through your browser. Even after they discontinued the service they have not been removed from those blacklists.

I am not surprised by the outcome of this fight. Ortiz is 43 and he's been out of his prime for a while. He can still be competitive but against fighters of higher quality he might get seriously hurt. Ruiz is not in great shape and this will make it difficult for him to become champion again. He is always in slugfests so I'm sure we will see him against some high profile opponents in the future.

I think something similar happened a few months ago after they did some maintenance. A few hours later everything was back to normal. I'm sure these issues will be fixed soon.

If anyone still wondering, Mellow Ads is a giant scam. Deposited 100 dollars on it and now I can't withdraw it anymore, they say the hot wallet is empty, fucking morons.
If anyone wants to use the credits, I'm willing to give it to you for the same amount in return ($100), send a PM if interested
They were associated with Moon Bitcoin faucets which scammed a lot of people so it is not surprising that Mellow Ads is also scamming. I wouldn't pay any amount of money to advertise on their network because their stats are not accurate. They will count a click even if ad block prevents a user from reaching the target destination. They also count bot traffic among the statistics. You will only get a fraction of the views and clicks that you are paying for.
