I mean how could the UFC market Adesanya vs Whittaker 3?

How many times Figueredo fought Moreno? How many times Conor fought Poirier ? Adesanya met Pereira 4 times... Cheesy It is so hard to get a title fight nowadays. Ranked guys dont want to fight unranked or those who are lower than they are. It is so stupid to see same guys fight each other again and again, that UFC should make a best of 3 or something like that to get a belt. Like NHL and NBA have in later part of tournament. (best of 3 or 5, I dont remember).

Moreno was a tough match up for Fig tho, who at the time Fig was like thought to dominate 125 for years like how Anderson Silva dominated the middle weight division.  Little did we know there was a little guy from Mexico who would change the landscape in the fly weight division.

Anyway looking more closely at this weekend's match ups, it could be one of those cards for underdogs.  There could be around 7 underdogs winning it.  Should've thought it over before making my picks at the Multi Master.
1142  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for June on: June 13, 2023, 12:57:49 PM
And I guess sideways would look like this?

After the bounce, it looks like we're going back to how it was going prior to it.

Surprising to see most people vote sideways for a change. It's a good sign that people aren't too bullish right now at least, even if maybe they should be a bit more bearish given the current correction.

As for the sideways theory, I'm not too convinced. Once price eventually reaches $25K level, that's looking increasingly likely, it will either act as support or fail imo, rather than any prolonged attempt to hold it as support. I say this as there is a lot of fear in the market right now with what the SEC is up to, even if it doesn't directly effect Bitcoin what so ever, people are still selling regardless it seems.

Personally I still find it more likely for price to re-test around $23K, potentially with a more capitulation style candle/event given the current market sentiment, followed by a swiftly returning back above $25K. Not so dissimilar to $20K correction that quickly returned to $25K. Despite the background noise, I don't see much different so far with the current correction than that of March. The only difference is we haven't seen the quick move to the downside yet, but instead a slow grind downwards with low volume or support, but I think we are getting closer to an increase in volatility in order for lower prices to arrive.

There's a couple of guys who voted for it to go up.  It's going to be funny if they're the two guys who got it right.

Anyway, I think the couple of sell downs that went to 25.3k could qualify for '25k' as it's more about the range than the actual number with these things.  So some room for error is fine imo.  But yeah...  Things are starting to move up to 26k again with some resistance.  Looks like it's not gonna be smooth sailing and your 23k call could happen.  :/

Let's see what happens when US session starts in around 30 mins from now.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MMA Info and Predictions - Bellator, KSW, PFL, ONE... on: June 13, 2023, 12:38:37 PM
For me, there is a fight and a chance for Yoel Romero to get the Light Heavyweight belt for Bellator and be the oldest 46 years old champion,

Mike Hamel VS Shamil Nikaev
Norbert Novenyi Jr. VS Kamil Oniszczuk

Jordan Newman VS Matthew Perry
Cody Law VS Edwin Chavez
Max Metzgar VS David McKinney

Information was from Tapology: https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/events/99770-bellator-297-nemkov-vs-romero

I'm not really familiar with most of the match ups except for the main event, the co main and the Anderson vs Davis match up.  I think if Yoel Romero shows up like he was when he fought Robert Whittaker, he could make the fight really close.  Nemkov's TD defense improved as shown in the second fight vs Corey Anderson but Romero's wrestling is on another level.  He could be a problem imho.  Let's see if his cardio holds up tho.  Like you said, he's already 46.

I should've bet my Sportsbet free bet on Romero instead of Rodriguez.  Grin
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 13, 2023, 12:27:26 PM
^  I don't think either of those guys will go on to get another title shot.  I guess the winner will get another top 5 guy while the loser will the thrown to a top prospect.  Lol.  As for Whittaker vs Du Plessis, I think Du Plessis gets a chance to fight for the belt due to being a new face at top 5 but Whittaker winning will make it iffy for the match makers.  He deserves another title shot imo but he already fight Adesanya twice and lost.  :/  I mean how could the UFC market Adesanya vs Whittaker 3?

Anyway, here's another fight replay.  Enjoy...

^  I checked out ORDI.  And with ORDI's market cap at around 100 million USD, 1000x means its market cap will be at 100 billion?  Lmao.  For a project that a lot of maxis love to hate on, I don't think it's gonna go to a market cap past 3 - 5 billion at peak bull market.  Dunno...

But the first thing everybody should check is the current market cap and the fully diluted valuation.  The price and supply cap aren't really good metrics to use to determine how high an altcoin could possibly go.  Better to check out projects with very low market caps.
1149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ [POLL] FOOTBALL: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 on: June 12, 2023, 12:24:03 PM
^  Yeah I was so drunk just laughing, throwing popcorn and posting on here with all caps.  Cheesy  And yes, there was the one that hit the bar too.  I think it's fair to say that City was lucky in that match but I think it's also fair to say that a little luck going a club's way is really needed to win a one match KO game.

All in all there was a guy who said he wanted to see pens.  I think that would've been an epic ending too.

So...  Is Guardiola still City's manager next season?  Does anybody else think they could win another UCL title back to back?  :/
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 12, 2023, 12:16:32 PM
^  Yup, I wanna see the UFC run it back and have those guys go at it again.  Oliveira made a dumb mistake with the no so well executed flying knee and he got caught straight at his chin then on he went groggy straight to the mat.  Lol.

As for Nunes, happy to see somebody have a happy ending.  She has some money, her health and a beautiful family.  Smiley

Anyway, on we go to the next event!  I honestly don't know a lot of these guys that much but there should be some bangers here and there.  Main event is decent tho.

RODRIIIIIIIIII

Edit:  LUKAKU DEFENDING FOR CITEH!!!  HAHAHAHAHA!!!

Edit:  Wow...  City won the treble.  A lot of people could say they're a money club but what they've done tonight, finally winning the UCL has made them immortal.  What a special moment.

And come to think of it, I also watched the dramatic match when they first won the EPL around 12 years ago.  Time flies.  Wow...

Think I'm gonna sleep now.  Too drunk to watch UFC 289.

Hmmm...  As I have been trying hard to anticipate and have been thinking about what would come next be it 'DeFi summer, NFT summer, memecoin summer or AI summer', I didn't see what was about to come next...  It's SEC summer!  Dammit.  :/

Why do the guvment always want to do us bad like this?  I got liquidated in a couple of memecoin longs.  Lol.  But no biggy, just two small bets 'just to see'.  Grin

Stay safe out there guys, the worst could still be coming.
1156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for the Next Great 1000x on: June 10, 2023, 12:50:34 PM
I think we're about to see something funny...  With the SEC going after the likes of SOL, MATIC, ADA and branding them as some sort of unlicensed securities because there was a presale, a team behind that reassures to develop and make the project better and there's also some sort of promise that investors will take some profit in their investment...  Does that mean memecoins' more organic and community centric approach make them not unlicensed securites and the SEC has nothing on them?

We could see the more serious projects get delisted in exchanges at the US while Cum Rocket is freely tradeable with no problems.  Lolol.  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

Yes you are right that mate and that's the reason why every casino have their rules and regulations or let say terms and condition cause if they give you a bonus then some casino have a task before you can claim it. But some of them that they required specific amount to deposit in order to have or to get that bonuses. So after signing up to or before creating an account then we must research a little bit what is that casino all about if they are trusted or not.

Yes, because there are many cases that often appear on this forum where gamblers often complain about this, most of them easily get stuck with bonuses without reading the terms and regulations, that's why looking for a good and reputable casino is important because by playing in big casinos there are usually notifications or sort of to remind gamblers to read the terms and conditions to get approved.

In other casinos, it's usually a trap, they don't put terms and conditions that sometimes people are lazy to read, but this is where the importance of gambling is not to be too passionate about doing things in a hurry, for example making a deposit without having to do casino research.

Did you know that there was a time when gambling sites and poker sites weren't really that harsh with the requirements in their welcome bonuses?  That's when something called bonus whoring came in when lots of people would go from site to site to collect bonuses and get enough money to build a nice starting bankroll.

It costed many sites a lot of money tho as the whole thing started to get cheated and gamed with multi accounting...  Hence making the state of casino bonuses what it is today.

Inter Milan take on Manchester City in the Champions League final in a game that will define Guardiola as a manager. I am quite confident Inter Milan will win the game because as usual he will make peculiar substitutes and put out a non-regular starting team. His tactics will backfire on him again as Inter Milan will probably allow Manchester City to possess the ball but will not let them press and will also catch them on the counter-attack.

What are the latest odds for Manchester City winning the treble this season?

How confident?  I got the match ending in 2 - 1, 3 - 1 for Man City.  I don't think Guardiola will tweak his squad like he did before as there's no need to do it anymore.  It's just one fixture more and then it's over.  Those tweaks Guardiola liked to do earlier in the tourney was prolly mind games in preparation to the second leg or the reverse fixture or due to a key player have some sort of injury.

Afaik City has no injuries except for Kyle Walker who's just doubtful to play at best.  All in all the squad and the bench are in good shape.  Smiley
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bankroll management discussion on: June 09, 2023, 12:26:23 PM
Unfortunately, I don't use percentages when playing gambling. If I deposit $30, I won't spend it all at once but will only bet $10 for a while, and whatever the outcome, I'll quit right away. I rarely spend a single deposit to play gambling because I will leave some balance so I can use it to play gambling another day. But sometimes, I gamble over $10 because I know I still have more balance in my betting account, so I'm okay if I somehow lose more than $10.

That's good for hobby players like most of us in the gambling section.  But if somebody wants to make a living or a side hustle out of something like poker then good bankroll management is a must.  I can't speak for anything else but in poker it's always a good idea to have 20 buy ins for the stake you play.  And that's for keeping it simple by playing TAG.  If you want to play a little looser, be more aggressive and fight for more pots then I'd say go for at least 30 buy ins.

And that's just for NLHE...  For PLO it goes higher.  For short deck another notch higher as the edges get closer and the variance go higher.
I can't imagine if someone wants to make a living from gambling as a poker player because that person must have very high poker playing skills to beat opponents. And he must also have greater capital to advance to the next round.

That's why it's better not to use a lot of money to gamble and try to finish the game before the money runs out. We don't know when we will win, but defeat can come at any time, so we have to be able to manage when we have to stop.

It was easier to do during the poker boom, around 2003 - 2008.  That was a good window of making a lot of money from poker as close to more than 90% of the online players sucked.  One could go deposit 100 bucks to a poker site and grind their way up to high stakes online within a year if they worked hard enough on their game.  2009 and beyond was when it got a bit harder as poker training site become more popular.  Everybody started to play tighter and more aggressive.

I see the same parallels with poker and in trading crypto.  There will come a time when the easy money won't be as easy anymore.  So make as much as you can now and save up.
