1181  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 12, 2020, 01:35:25 PM
~snip~

At the moment only the agreement between Juventus and Juventus's player is official, the rest is only speculation and nothing official.
I'm sure the rest will follow the example of Juventus but for the moment nothing is official.

Maybe we are getting news from different sources, here is the news where it says that Serie A clubs "unanimously" agrees to cut their players' salary with the exception of Juventus who have cut their salaries for their players and as well as their staff a little bit earlier than the decision. However this agreement was only made between club owners and they are still waiting for the player's association for their counter proposal since they think that a 1/3 salary cut is something inadmissible for them. This only shows that the players themselves know that if they don't take a salary cut themselves the club where they are playing might be in a deeper financial trouble.
1182  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] viabtcminer - Ponzi scheme behind mining on: April 11, 2020, 07:51:31 PM
And to add for the OP and the others to know, they posted this UK registration number for companies. I don't know how to navigate this website well but all I can say is that the registration is legit and they might just be using this registration number without authorization from the real company. The nature of business from that company is about real estate leasing and obviously a cloud mining scam is nowhere near to that kind of business. They might be sued by the owner for impersonating them and using their trademark without any permission if you guys want to bring them down this way you can by reporting it to this company.
1183  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] viabtcminer - Ponzi scheme behind mining on: April 11, 2020, 05:48:14 PM

Aside from the fake investment and the obvious scam they are doing they are also posting the email addresses of the people who have registered to them some of which are emails coming from their businesses which I think will violate some rules on that company. Even if this list are fake and not showing the whole email address the possibility of them showing emails violate the privacy of others.
1184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 11, 2020, 04:17:59 PM
for now only the juventus players have accepted the 30% salary reduction there is an arm wrestling between the football league and the players' union to be able to agree on this reduction, however the league insists on playing the remaining matchs of the current season at the end of the lockdown i think more for the pay tv revenue...

I haven't seen any news about players and their teams having conflicts with regards to cutting their salaries where they aren't playing, Juventus, Milan, Inter all have agreed to cur their salaries ever since the league was suspended and even some top flight clubs in the EPL as well as LaLiga have cut the salaries of their staff and players. The main issue right now that I see with Serie A is regarding how hard are they trying to resume the league when in fact Italy hasn't even recovered yet from this pandemic, some of their players not a resident in Italy are on their home country which just shows that these players are not even ready to return back to play.
1185  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Difficulty choosing a trading platform on: April 08, 2020, 06:09:24 PM
Since a lot of members here already gave you tips about a trading platform I'm just here to remind you that having the perfect choice for a crypto exchange won't guarantee you profits. Instead of concentrating what trading platform to make I would rather choose to study about technical analysis and the prospective cryptocurrencies I'll plan to buy.  A lot of newbies lost a lot of their money when they enter the market without any knowledge about trading or investing so it's their mistake on rushing in the market too quickly.
1186  Economy / Exchanges / Re: EVONAX.COM just launched PayPal on its platform on: April 08, 2020, 05:46:59 PM

A company who's main office as a place of business is being operated under an apartment? Like what others have said no thanks, I don't mean to revolve around them being under an apartment building but this just shows how they aren't capable of renting a formal office workplace which also means their reliability in terms of liquidity. Bragging about their Paypal capabilities is also wrong, an exchange without any KYC or any kind of proof showing their legality offering a reversible payment option? I don't think it is something to be happy with especially if they are not that trusted in the crypto industry.
1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies - Failed Future? on: April 08, 2020, 03:56:31 PM
I did some more research just now and what I have seen is they are not forcing their employees to have salary cuts and they should agree with it first, the catch is if majority of their employees take the salary cut then the survivability of the company will be at risk when most of their businesses are not operating. This is just the reality of what they have now and if this 21 day lockdown got extended we might even see some more worst effect than salary cuts. Like what I have said lay offs during this lockdown is not far from happening and that's why their first step was to make salary cuts. The Prime Minister of India already have his salary cut and some top executives of Big Indian Corporations also have theirs so if things get anything worst I know downsizing will be the next thing to happen.
1188  Economy / Economics / Re: Cutting of Salaries in Indian Companies - Failed Future? on: April 08, 2020, 02:42:14 PM
We need more information about this matter regarding if this covers all companies or just businesses with clue collar type of work since they can't just cut down salaries if some of their employees are producing work from their home. The lockdown itself cannot be the reason why their salaries would be cut not unless their financials are affected but when you are saying that even IT companies have their employees take salary cuts I couldn't imagine this from happening since their business products are mainly produced digitally so their financials won't really be affected.
1189  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Hypocrisy Behind Facebook Banning Crypto Ads on: April 08, 2020, 01:41:27 PM
Even if this ban was lifted last May of 2019 I very rarely see any crypto related ads surfacing around my Facebook's social feed. I know that FB knows that I am interested with crypto since I have joined several crypto related groups and I have used their search engine a lot so this should result that I have to see at least crypto related ads once or twice a day but I don't. Maybe the crypto-industry doesn't want to get involved with Facebook even though they are one of the highest traffic websites out there. It may be related to them not having success with crypto marketing in FB or all of the crypto projects in the industry are just against FB's Libra that is why they don't want Zuckerberg to be earning anything from them.
1190  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: These Anti-KYC Stuffs Tiring Non-Techies Up on: April 08, 2020, 12:53:53 PM
4. Will these KYC things (submitting my documents) do any harm on me?

Yes, I know privacy is important, but it really tires me up. With this little amount, I think I wont be of a target of hackers/bad guys (a waste of time for them). Right?

As long as you submit those KYC documents in a safe and trusted crypto exchange in your country I believe that you have nothing to worry about unless it is about hacks. Businesses in the crypto industry didn't want KYC in the first place but when the government got more involved with the crypto industry a KYC requirement for AML procedures is an inevitable thing to happen. You should be used to it by now since if we are talking about cryptos we are talking about assets and all assets market we have like stock exchanges and the forex market all of them require KYC as a standard by their SEC. Privacy shouldn't be the issue here since if you submit it on a trusted exchange they won't be spilling it out to anyone for business purposes.
1191  Other / Meta / Re: A little bit of warning about the pandemic on: April 07, 2020, 09:52:42 PM
While we did have a good laugh when the forum got the virus on April Fools, I think this reminder to be permanent in the "news" section won't make any difference at all. For one if you haven't notice is already most of the topics we currently have always have someone mentioning the COVID-19 virus in the topics. This alone already shows that most of the forum members we have in the forum are already aware of the COVID-19 virus. Second like what others said this is a Bitcoin discussion forum, making a COVID-19 related headline in the forum would just even make majority of the topics all related to COVID-19 since it will keep reminding members here about the ongoing pandemic.
1192  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTC got stolen. Once again! :/ on: April 07, 2020, 08:04:56 PM
If you know this "guy" personally and you do want to get you BTC back you know he can be liable for letting you install cracked version of an anti-virus that has a malware. This might sound harsh if you are close to him but is their any possibility that he has a hidden agenda in mind? Like does he know you are storing your BTC in the laptop you will install the anti-virus from? If you value your friendship over your BTC then nevermind what I have said but if you have a distant relationship I would suggest that you go after him for your to find out the truth.
1193  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The sincere bounty managers should escrow bounty rewards on: April 07, 2020, 07:10:45 PM
This would be 1 step towards safety and a boost in participants right to receive the rewards. Though it doesn't exactly prevent the project from scam or the token not being able to list on any exchange or getting no value. All users can be sure is they get the bounty tokens. That's several folds better than no insurance at all.

A project just showing that they are willing to escrow payments only mean that they are willing to pay their participants, I think that this is also just shows how the project wants to move forward with their vision overall. They aren't like these types of scam projects that will suddenly disappear and make the bounty manager be the one who take the fall. Actually what Julerz is doing is probably for his own safety and I can't argue with that since a lot of bounty managers are already becoming the only guilty party here for being irresponsible and their reputation lost just because of one scam. They should have some kind of standard guaranteeing their participants of a payment.
1194  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Class-action lawsuits filed against 11 Bitcoin/cryptocurrency companies on: April 07, 2020, 05:55:25 PM
I posted this in the same topic on the press section. I can clearly say that this is some kind of "ambulance chasing" done by a well known firm on crypto litigation. They clearly have the resources to get complainants all over the world just to sue several crypto businesses and projects on something they think is illegal. I don't even think that this complainants are aware that they can do this kinds of cases to chase the projects if not this firm being the one on knocking on them first. Simply this exchanges who are being sued right now because of listing specific ICOs is ridiculous to think that it even exists. Crypto exchanges aren't like stock exchange where a company needs to undergo a certain process under the SEC in order to get listed, in most cases if it's not the exchange itself listing the crypto independently the crypto project will be the one asking for them. It has been this way for a long time and you don't need a special license for you to do it.
1195  Economy / Speculation / Re: With Effect On global economy, will Covid 19 affect expected Bitcoin Halving? on: April 07, 2020, 05:07:03 PM
Honestly at this point I'm not even sure about what my answer is anymore. I was one of the many persons out there that the drop of Bitcoin was just coincidental with the early spread of COVID-19 but when I saw that other markets are dropping together with Bitcoin dropping from 10,000$ down to half of it's price that's when I started to believe that even investors in our own crypto market are also panicking. The success of the expected pump we want to see in the nearing halving will depend on the future state of our Earth and I think only recovering from this pandemic is the key for that to happen.
1196  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Real blockchain advertising on: April 07, 2020, 03:49:55 PM
I did not understand this accurately? Do you mean that you are helping users to create more ERC20 tokens + free ads?

Judging how the site is constructed you have the option to advertise or earn by getting some advertisements of others and applying it in your website. The one who wants to be advertising his product to another person's website will be the one paying. But my main question right now is what is blockchain's role under this? Does it basically do all the transparency or does it apply a certain minimum payment for each views depending on the traffic? Another question for the OP is how is this different compared to having advertisments via Google Adsense or Mellow-Ads or any of the competition? As your service really needs to be explained thoroughly.
1197  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-04-04] Class-action lawsuits filed against 11 Bitcoin companies on: April 06, 2020, 09:34:17 PM
A lawsuit handled by a US firm, Roche Cyrulnik Freedman, and their defendants are from 11 different countries not counting USA? If this firm even for real? How did they manage to get 42 defendants in 11 countries just to sue this companies? Are they really that desperate for money that now they are scouting people outside of the US just to sue them, I mean outside of the USA most exchanges doesn't even need to have a license to offer up a STO like token in other countries so why are they targeting this? I would understand their lawsuit against TRON but I won't take in consideration the exchanges involved here especially when Binance recently just got back in the US.
1198  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Plead] Phinnaeus Gage's User Moniker Manifested Due to a Malignant Brain Tumor on: April 06, 2020, 08:26:56 PM
Bump

Updated about the situation:
  • Over 0.7 BTC now - still very far from the target
  • Bruno is still not online from 3 April - Hope he's still fine

I'm a little bit worried as well, the BTC address seems to be only receiving Bitcoin but there are no outgoing transactions. Are there any members here who are close to Phinnaeus Gage or some of his family members? Because they might not even know that he is receiving donations and he might not even be able to use the BTC he have received. We need to here some updates if he is ok and maybe give some assistance to his family.
1199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 06, 2020, 07:19:04 PM
Jadon Sancho and Manchester seems to have an agreement for the transfer of the following market session.
United seems to go be a stronger team with Sancho and Bruno Fernandes.

How can this be really official yet when we haven't seen Borussia Dortmund having any kind of transfer talks with Man United or even Chelsea at this point? During this time where most of the leagues are suspended and all players are at their homes it makes me hard to believe any of this transfer rumors especially if the whole football business is silent until now. That's news like Kane to Real Madrid or Icardi to Milan is so hard to believe since we know ourselves that all of this cannot be confirmed yet until they arrived at the club and have their medicals until the next transfer window opens.
1200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Problem with cashing out to fiat on: April 06, 2020, 05:56:29 PM
Did you just created a made-up story? Because the moment where the bank teller have a cheese grater in her hands totally lost me. So I would just go in with your original question, and no I have not. When I try to withdraw it using my local crypto wallet everything is processed in just minutes and it will show up in my desired bank account in minutes after confirming. You didn't even mention regarding how you have withdrawn your money if it was in a wallet or from a user in localbitcoins. Another way to say how made up this story was is when you are liquidating your Bitcoin to fiat, the bank doesn't really received Bitcoin at least one party will be the one sending fiat to your bank account from them.
